Comfort Hotel Hakata Reviews

The hotel is conveniently located just opposite Hakata Station and is easily accessible via an underground walkway through Sun Plaza. The rooms are spacious; while not particularly new, they are clean and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, contributing to a pleasant stay. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located downstairs for quick snacks or essentials. The hotel also provides a helpful map highlighting nearby attractions and recommended ramen shops, all within walking distance. Hakata Station itself features a shopping mall, making it easy to browse or pick up souvenirs during your visit.

Located beside Hakata station, perfect to rest after walks to nearby attractions! Staff are friendly and alert to queries. Complimentary breakfast is a bonus and convenience store just beside the lobby. Highly recommended!

This hotel is incredibly convenient—Hakata Station and the main bus terminal are just across the street. There are several restaurants nearby, including my favorites: Ichiran and Starbucks, both right next to the hotel. The breakfast café has a casual, cafeteria-style vibe, but it was very welcoming. Even when we came back late, they still offered a self-service coffee, tea, and water, which was a really thoughtful touch., though I’m not sure if it’s open 24 hours. We were able to bring back dinner and eat it at the café, which made the experience feel even more heartwarming and comfortable. The room was spacious and brightly lit with fluorescent lighting—something refreshingly different from the dim lighting in many other hotels. The service was excellent. One memorable experience I had was when I accidentally left my brand-new bag on a city bus. A female staff member named Ms. Uemoto/上本 went above and beyond to help me—she spent about half an hour on the phone coordinating with the bus company and gave me clear directions to their office. Thanks to her help, I was able to retrieve my bag. I’m truly grateful and appreciate her kindness and dedication. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fukuoka, and I’d happily stay here again.😊

Great breakfast buffet!

The location is really good but the staff can not speak english.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is that it is just opposite the railway station so transport wise it is an excellent choice. The staff there were friendly and welcoming. We chose the Japanese room for a night and the room was very spacious and comfortable even though the amenities inside the room were a bit outdated. The complimentary breakfast was just okay but the large number of noisy guests with young and unruly children running around the dining area was a big putting off for us so we had a bite and left soon after, glad that we only stayed for a night. 

Great for one night if you need to get to the airport. Also it’s right next to Hakata station and easy check in.

the location is great 👍 lots of ramen house and resto nearby the room is clean and nice but the breakfast time is from 6:30 until 9:30

Nice hotel located opposite Hakata Train Station. Small lobby which looks like an office building instead of hotel lobby. Good breakfast, big spacious room. Room is dusty though.

Hotel super close to station

Friendly staff and easy checkin and checkout. Breakfast is good enough for what it is. The room we were in was quite big even for Japanese standards. We enjoyed our stay.

Very good location where you can travel around Hakata easily, especially access to subway just 15 meters away.  Breakfast provided but don’t expect too much variety and local Japanese food serving.  Check-in and check-out are very convenient.
