Tokyu Stay Hakata Reviews

Tokyu Stay Hakata is located around 5-10mins walk from the Hakata Station, making it in a convenient location. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The room is also of a decent size for Japan’s standard. The service at the reception is also very good and they can communicate very well in english and helpful. No drinking water was provided in the room and apparently you can drink from the tap if you are ok with that. There is a Family Mart nearby anyway, if you want to get bottled drinking water. The main problem we had was that there is a train track next to it, so everytime the train passed by, there’s the noise. Definitely going to be an issue for light sleepers. The train is from 5am-midnight. They can provide ear plug when requested.  The breakfast was very basic and the same for the 2 days we were there.

10-12 mins walk from Hakata station in a straight line, keep a look out at building rooftop to spot Tokyu Hakata Stay. Has ice and coffee vending machine at Lobby and 3 convenience stores a stone's throw away. Washing machine with dryer and UVC sterilising was a bonus!

I had a fantastic stay at Tokyu Stay Hakata! The hotel is conveniently located near Hakata Station and just a short distance from the international airport, making it incredibly accessible for travellers. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spacious by Japanese standards, very clean, and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the inclusion of a washing machine in the room, which was so convenient for longer stays. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fukuoka!

The hotel offers a convenient in-room washer/dryer that dries clothes overnight, making laundry easy without searching for coin machines. Rooms are slightly larger than typical Japanese hotels, allowing for easier packing, and both the room and toilet are clean. Guests can store luggage before check-in and enjoy free coffee in the lobby. The hotel also has eco-friendly self-service amenities like razors and bath sponges available at the lobby. When booking, note that it's about a 10-minute walk from the station, which could take longer with luggage or in groups. It's located next to train tracks, so some noise may be heard, but it’s manageable for most guests. Booked two rooms but found a little roach in one of the rooms :(

The staff was incredibly attentive, always ready to assist with a warm smile, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with spotless rooms and well-maintained facilities that enhanced our comfort. Just an 8-minute walk from the massive Hakata Station with so many restaurants and shops to choose from.

The location is convenient, approximately a 6-minute walk to the station. There’s a Family Mart next to it and a Lawson nearby. The size of the room is not bad, and the sanitation is fine. Some great features include the free coffee machine in the lobby, the room key that automatically connects to the floor you’re staying on, and the washing machine in the room. I would say it’s a nice choice for those who want to stay here for a few days.

The size of the room is OK. Location quite good near the JR station. Just you will hear the noise of the train before 12pm at night. Others are good enough for the price.

Hotel is new and convenient, front desk staff is helpful and check in is fast. Breakfast is good with many choices, there is a coffee bar for free in lobby.

Great budget hotel at the Hakata area. The hotel is around 600m from Hakata Station. Therefore, it is a manageable walk if you are travelling light. Do consider the distance if you are dragging around sizeable luggages. At Hakata Station, you can find many options for food, shopping and services. This hotel is perfect for a stopover stay in Fukuoka.

The location is pretty close to hakata station, where you can access trains to everywhere around fukuoka. Near lawson and you can take amenities from downstairs. Really recommended for traveller.
