Lakeland Hotel Mizunosato Reviews

Open air bath tub does not have Onsen water. It is literally shower room/bath tub in open air. They do provide small public Onsen on 4th floor. Hotel location is very far from station, no convenience store nearby. Hotel does not provide food or in room service and you cannot walk in to their restaurant without early reservation.

Impeccable service from all hotel staff, perfect view of Mount Fuji from our room window, delicious breakfast. In front of the hotel is Lake Kawaguchiko and a wonderful park called Yagisaki.

The location is well. Food, room service everything perfect. Event the hotel is old but very good service.

It’s a very traditional hotel.

The hotel is located in a very scenic and serene environment with lake view and a park nearby. As we have stayed for 2 nights, the breakfast and dinners served were different.

The room it’s traditional, but they didn’t make it look good, some furniture color look bad. But the service it’s good staff so helpful, they have shuttle buses service and it’s helpful.

The set Japanese  dinner and breakfast were very good with different varieties during the 2 days we stayed.  Free shuttle bus between the hotel and the Fujikawaguchiko station provided but only a few in morning.

It is a little old but serves the right purpose - seeing Mt Fuji from the open bath window

The room is huge but lack basic fittings. Other than the 5 hangers there is no place nor hooks to hang our clothes.

Even though the hotel is aged, the facility is still kept in good condition generally.

Room was extremely nice & spacious, one of those situation whereby the experience & been there is better than the photos online. Lake View’s nice too.

I really enjoy the stay at Lakeland Hotel ! The room is perfectly clean and the service is excellent. But we were kinda unlucky cus the weather was awful, couldn’t see Fuji at all. Pls book with meals, it’s totally worth it !

Unique Japanese style hotel with amazing view of Mt. Fuji and Onsen available to all guests. It’s definitely a wonderful experience for us. If you want to experience traditional Japanese culture, I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and special. The hotel is a little old. A big park with lake is just right across the street. We enjoyed our time at this hotel!
