I had a really nice 3 night stay at the Mirante hotel, wish I'd stayed another night or two. I chose it for it's very handy location for the local bus station (the public transport was very easy to use to get to the Iguaçu Falls, airport and Itaipu dam), I hadn't actually realised what a nice hotel it was. Even a towel animal sculpture on the bed from Juliana the maid! Rooftop pool was lovely, everything was clean and tidy, breakfast was a fantastic buffet. There was also a games room (pool table, table tennis etc) though I didn't use it myself. The only very slight downside was no filtered water for drinking, other than at breakfast, but not a big problem.

Very good location near the bus terminal: Bus 120 takes you directly to the Iguaçú Falls (approx. 1 EUR, 1 USD). Large hotel with a pool and a good breakfast buffet with cakes, hot dishes, juices, fruit, etc. Check-in is strictly enforced from 3 p.m., even if rooms are available. One negative aspect I found was the lack of a price list for the minibar.

Very good hotel, well located, attentive staff, great breakfast

I think this price is good value with breakfast included. Also, the hotel is located very close to the bus stop for the 120 line to Iguazu Falls and the airport, and the international bus to Argentina and Paraguay, so the location is perfect. If you want to go sightseeing at Iguazu Falls after checking out, you can leave your luggage without any problems. There are many restaurants to choose from if you go to the right from the hotel, cross the intersection, and turn right at the first alley.

I was unpleasantly surprised that there was only ONE piece of towel, one for each person... they don't provide a face towel as per the hotel rule... that is, for the pool, for showering, and for your face, THE ONE TOWEL FOR EVERYTHING. They don't provide shampoo or conditioner, just one small soap for two people. It's clear that the hotel was more upmarket 20 years ago; it's still maintained, but it needs more love and better reception and general service... thank you.

We always stay at this hotel, the value for money is great! Good location and a very good breakfast

Great hotel, well located, great breakfast, but the bathrooms are all with old fixtures and tiles, the rest is good.

First of all, the location is very good. It is very close to the bus stop where the bus to and from Puerto Iguazu (Argentina) and the bus number 120 to and from Iguazu Falls depart and arrive. There is also a large supermarket nearby. There is also a currency exchange office nearby that gives good exchange rates. And the price is very reasonable considering the size of the hotel and the facilities. The room is spacious and the hot water is good. There is also a swimming pool, and the breakfast was more delicious than I expected!

There is a bus to the airport near the hotel. The water for the shower is hot and sufficient, which helps to relieve fatigue for long-distance travel and those who visit Iguazu Falls. The breakfast is very rich. The attitude of the service staff is warm and friendly. The power sockets in Brazil are different from those in most countries. There is no USB port on the wall of the hotel, and there is no service to rent the corresponding plugs, which is inconvenient.

Accommodation does not match the photos on the website, but overall good

The location is very good, the hotel is old but very clean, good air conditioning, good bed and adequate breakfast. Excellent value for money.

It was a total success. Next to the terminal, close to places where you can eat delicious and cheap food. Next to a supermarket, and they let you leave your bags as long as you need. The breakfast was good, sufficient in every way. The room was average, but you could rest and the bed was comfortable. You really didn't need more. Price-quality ratio is a success for convenience.

It was just a joy to stay at this hotel and my congratulations to all the staff.
