Fenghuang Hotels with Gym

The location of the hotel is right in the center of the ancient town . They have concierge to pick us up from the drop off point . It is a short distance of walk to reach the hotel . The view from the room is perfect and we even got upgraded with a balcony room . We are also offered a complimentary pick up and drop off from train station . The only downside about this hotel is overall the facility is slightly old but pretty well kept . If you want an early rest just take note the music level is really loud from outside and no much sound proof . Music will stop right at 1130pm.

The hotel is located next to the ancient city. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to the core area, but it is only a few dozen meters to the maglev station. The room was very clean, and the hotel also provided free fruit and baked sweet potatoes, which were delicious.

I made an appointment with friends to travel around the area on the weekend, and I specially found a homestay with a yard. The yard is very unique and the homestay also provides costumes for guests to take pictures. If you are not here specifically to take ethnic photos, it is enough to take pictures in the store yourself! There are scenery and costumes! Very good photos! The key is that you don’t have to pay separately! The boss is also very attentive. Several friends who came together were arranged on the same floor, and the room was upgraded for free☺️

The hotel is very close to the entrance of Fenghuang Ancient Town. You can reach the scenic spot after walking downstairs for about 200 meters. The viewing room can see part of the scenery of Fenghuang Ancient Town. There are more than a dozen parking spaces in front of the hotel. The service attitude of the service staff is very good and the hotel is clean. The condition is general.

We had the best service of our trip at this hotel- they truly go beyond and above. It was only a 15min Didi from the train station, also the bus shuttle from HSR to the city is right in front of the hotel. The location is perfectly situated at one side of the main bridge, but a nice 5min stroll away such that you are away from the noise on the main strip (in front of the river). Also, no mosquitoes. We initially booked a riverfront hotel but I am SO glad that we changed to this hotel after actually walking the whole tourist strip on foot. Legit the cobblestones near the river are terrible, and cars can’t get in so it’d have been a nightmare. Next, Xiao Dai （小代） who helped us and the manager were all so sweet. 小代answered all our WeChat questions extremely promptly (literally 1-2mins), and when we asked about the free laundry self use machine onsite, she offered to have us leave it in our room and do it for us so we could go out and explore. I thought this was truly above and beyond- she picked the clothes up from our room, washed them (separately as well for colours and whites), hung them and sent us a photo, dried them and returned them to us folded and freshly laundered. We were simply floored by this level of service. They are so so so kind and I can’t recommend this hotel enough for their kindness and eagerness to ensure your comfort during your stay. We stayed on the 7th floor in a suite and it was very comfortable- the bed itself and pillows were just right. Sheets felt high quality, pillows not too stiff and high, duvet was fluffy and nice. I liked that the toilet is separated from the shower and vanity- the soft but bright filtered lighting for the bathroom vanity was amazing for getting ready (for the girls who are sick of hotels with dark lighting and can’t do their make up). The room was spacious and although some aspects were a bit outdated, it was clean large and comfortable - we were so happy with our room. They also gave our group of 3 girls 4 room cards which allows for each card to breakfast. The breakfast ayis were so nice and made eggs freshly your way when asked. The cucumber and radish pickles were yummy and we really liked the corn soup and congee as well as all the vegetable dishes. The selection was good for us, as we like clean and simple, easy to digest and nutritious foods in the morning. Oh yeah they also sent us to the HSR on check out without charge, in the hotel’s car. They were so prompt in getting us to the HSR and the driver was really considerate, safe and careful. Literally the most calm drive we’ve experienced in China. Side note- the gym is massive and looks largely unused but the equipment is good, there are weights and cables and everything. There’s also a pool table and table tennis. A yoga room complete with a good amount of gear and mats.

Very strategic location running by two young, motivated and thoughtful gentlemen. It is outside from the ancient city. Just one street away (100m) from the Riverside in which is pretty good to keep us away from the loud singing at drinking pub along the Riverside and have good rest. The hotel and room very warmly decorated. The location mark at Trip.com a little misleading. Do remember to call up the hotel and they shall lead you the way better. Luckily we have the hotel staff helping us to book can from train station. The downside was there are too many stairs at the both ancient city and to the hotel. Fortunately, there is a lift co-sharing with another hotel to bring us up. Stairs are unavoidable since majority hotels and shops are built on the valley slope by Riverside. It is good to bring along walking cane for those with weak knee. I really love the bath tub and projector screen lol. 😂😍

I came to Fenghuang with a few friends and accidentally found this store online. The reception staff was very enthusiastic, which added points to Fenghuang Ancient Town. The room was clean and tidy, and the details were very well done. When we went out to play, they patiently told us where to have fun and where the cost performance was high. When we checked out, they were also very enthusiastic. The whole process made people feel comfortable. I will stay at their house next time.

This stay experience is really great! The environment of the B&B is very clean and tidy, the room is warm and comfortable, the bed is soft, and I slept very well. The bathroom is also very clean, with plenty of hot water, complete toiletries, and details are done very well. The B&B housekeeper is very enthusiastic, from the communication before check-in to the service after check-in, he is very considerate, and also recommended us nearby special food and attractions, and helped us plan our itinerary, which really saved us a lot of worry. The location of the B&B is also very convenient. You can walk to the ancient city. The B&B can also provide a shuttle bus. There are many restaurants and convenience stores around, which is very convenient. It is very quiet at night, without noise interference, and I rested well. This stay experience is very satisfactory, and the cost-effectiveness is super high! I will definitely choose here next time I come here to play, and I will also recommend it to my friends! This is our first time in the area and we really enjoyed our stay. The view from our room was incredible and offered a panoramic view of the ancient city. Our host graciously gave us an overview of the area and what places to hit up. She was also able to help us out with contacting the local authorities when we lost our drone and needed to access a neighboring house. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would recommend for anyone looking to visit the area for the first time.  P.S. they also have two super friendly cats so if that’s your thing, come meet them!

The service is very good, the road is close to the road but the sound insulation is OK, the sleep is stable, the hot water is the best, from Zhangjiajie all the way to play, this hot water is the most comfortable bath. There is breakfast, the breakfast category is less, and the attitude of the aunt who is doing breakfast is also very good. In addition, the hotel is more than 500 nights. The room is too small. The design of the wash basin is not good. It is protruding out and I don’t know at first. The floor is very slippery when the water is boiled. Overall OK
