The staff's exceptional friendliness and helpfulness significantly enhanced our experience. While the initial oversight in room cleaning was noted, the swift provision of fresh towels demonstrated a commitment to guest satisfaction. The complimentary transfer to the train station was also greatly appreciated. Furthermore, the thoughtful gesture of providing a departure bag with water and ginger candies was a delightful surprise. This establishment merits the highest commendation.

GGuest UserI had an extra day to spend in my China trip and decided to take a chance and visit Phoenix ancient town for a day. I heard it was better at night so I decided to spend the night and booked the top floor of this stay for the view, and it did not disappoint - it was wonderful! A direct view to the center tower and bridge in town! Service was helpful and gave me a map of the area and showed me where to walk - also helped me to arrange a taxi for the morning. Be prepared there are some steps leading up to the lobby. And, Phoenix ancient town is very small so DiDi may not work there. If coming from afar, get a taxi directly from the train station.

Restaurant in the hotel is very nice and not expensive. Breakfast buffet is only 10 rmb per person. Although there is no meat dishes but for that price how could you ask for more. Hotel reception is very helpful.
I recommend this hotel.

YYeeKunVery strategic location running by two young, motivated and thoughtful gentlemen. It is outside from the ancient city. Just one street away (100m) from the Riverside in which is pretty good to keep us away from the loud singing at drinking pub along the Riverside and have good rest. The hotel and room very warmly decorated.
The location mark at Trip.com a little misleading. Do remember to call up the hotel and they shall lead you the way better. Luckily we have the hotel staff helping us to book can from train station.
The downside was there are too many stairs at the both ancient city and to the hotel. Fortunately, there is a lift co-sharing with another hotel to bring us up. Stairs are unavoidable since majority hotels and shops are built on the valley slope by Riverside. It is good to bring along walking cane for those with weak knee.
I really love the bath tub and projector screen lol. 😂😍

IILOVEKIMIBefore my trip, I chose Zui Xiangxi Hotel on Ctrip after a comprehensive comparison, and I'm so glad I did. The hotel's location is excellent and easy to find, with a convenient parking lot directly in front of the main entrance. It's ideally situated, just 500 meters down the street from the Hongqiao Bridge in the ancient town. This proximity allows for easy exploration of all the attractions along both banks of the Tuojiang River. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are wonderfully wide. The Xiaodu smart control system was also a very convenient feature. The hotel is well-equipped with a variety of facilities. The large restaurant on the first floor offers an extensive breakfast. On the second floor, guests can enjoy a gym, ping-pong and billiard tables, and even foot massage services. The lobby also features a specialty shop with a wide selection of local products at reasonable prices, making it easy to grab some souvenirs. In Fenghuang Ancient Town, where guesthouses are everywhere, Zui Xiangxi Hotel truly stands out as a legitimate, comfortable option offering excellent value for money.

GGuest UserThe service of this hotel is pretty good. The hotel will arrange for someone to pick you up from the train station and send you back when you are leaving. The lady at the front desk is very friendly.
Hotel room is not big but it's functional. Certain parts of the room are slightly worn out. But for the price it's not too bad.
There's a lift in the hotel and cars can go directly to the front door of this hotel so you don't have to carry your luggages and drag them in the town.
About 10-15mins walk to the river.
Overall pretty nice stay.

MM43022****Facilities: First, I'd like to comment on their facilities, which are very comprehensive. The TV is large, the fridge is fully stocked, and the hotel even provides a washing machine and dryer!
Environment: Anyone who's been to Fenghuang Ancient Town knows how chaotic the guesthouses here can be. I spent an entire afternoon looking at hotels before my trip and compared many options! This place offers incredible value for money! Before checking in, my expectations weren't that high, but it was truly spotless! Perhaps it's because the hotel itself is relatively new! But I must say, the entire hallway was very clean, with no strange odors, and the room was exceptionally tidy.
Service: The owner was incredibly warm-hearted. When I couldn't find my way downstairs, they immediately came down to help me carry my luggage up! The hotel's location is truly excellent! It takes less than a minute to walk to Hongqiao! After redeeming the breakfast voucher, their breakfast was also quite good! They even had coffee and salad, and my travel companions tried their rice noodles, which were delicious! The hotel's breakfast was even better than getting rice noodles outside 😭 I'm touched.
(I usually don't write reviews, but the value for money here is just too good! To stay in such great conditions for this price, I absolutely highly recommend it!)

HholidayThe owner of the B&B is quite attentive, with a gym and swimming pool, making it perfect for a family outing. Walking along the river from the B&B exit takes you directly to the bustling scenic area. Upon arrival, a young man came to meet you and help with your luggage. He even helped take it to the parking lot on our departure day. The young man we chatted with revealed that he was a university student helping out during the summer break. He was incredibly energetic, enthusiastic, and attentive. The chubby little guy really gave the B&B a thumbs-up and gave it a good review.

GGuest UserThe location is great. My wife and I like quiet, and this place fits the bill perfectly. We have a courtyard, and we could stroll along the Tuojiang River in the evening, admire the ancient buildings, and relax. It was really nice. The hotel is a bit off-season these days, but they also took us to the Hongqiao area, which is a bustling bar district, perfect for fun, not for staying. We went for some shopping and dining. Fenghuang is a perfect place for one or two people to relax. It's absolutely wonderful. The hotel service and facilities are also excellent. Most importantly, it's quiet and new.

KKaywin ParkI recently stayed at a hotel near the ancient town of Fenghuang, and it was the perfect base for exploring this beautiful, historic area. The location was excellent—just a short walk from the riverside and the heart of the old town, where all the vibrant shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions are located. Despite being so close to the action, the hotel was tucked away enough to offer a peaceful and quiet stay.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. I especially enjoyed the comfortable bed, high-quality linens, and the rainfall shower in the bathroom. There was also a cozy seating area and a private balcony, offering lovely views of the town and the surrounding river.
