i enjoyed my stay here immensely, the staff were helpful, they gave me a late check in due to travel arrangements & also provided iron & ironing board when I requested it. I would have liked to see milk for the coffee available in my room, & at times the property behind was a little loud. but still an excellent stay

Ideal for a stay where you don't need much. Simple, clean and quiet environment. Only because there is no reception, there is no control over who comes in and out. The front door is always open. On the day of departure, a drunk woman came to hang at several doors in the morning at 6:00, she could not enter her hotel room and asked others for help, and this disturbed our sleep because she just stayed sticking. She had not checked in herself and couldn't call the reception, and it was a pity that everyone was wakened for this...

This price is cheap across Europe. The room was very clean, although close to the train station, but it was very clean nearby. The front desk brother of the hotel has a very good service attitude. However, the room space is not too big, the bathroom is relatively small.

The hotel is a 20-minute walk from Essen Central Station and not far from the pedestrian street. It is also convenient to park downstairs in the hotel. The parking fee is 17.5 euros per night, which is a bit expensive. The parking fee must be paid in advance and post-payment is not accepted. I guess inflation in Europe is still quite severe in the past two years. It seems that prices are skyrocketing, including food and accommodation.

Due to the reviews we had no high expectations. We were very positively surprised and can only recommend the hotel. Large room, comfortable bed and breakfast with extras. Noise from the street seemed disturbing, but quiet at night.
