Very beautiful hotel, nice location, great service.

This hotel is not only near Calton hill and Edinburgh castle,but also on the back of Princess street,very quiet.I accidentally dropped my passport there,they found and kept it for me till I went back,very thoughtful of them.

 Poor Stay Experience Review: During my stay at your hotel from February 1st to 3rd, I encountered multiple unpleasant incidents. Firstly, the heating in my room was not turned on in advance, the switch was poorly designed without clear instructions, and the curtains covered the heating unit at night, severely affecting its efficiency and causing a significant drop in room temperature. This not only affected my comfort but also my health during the stay. Secondly, a serious security breach occurred when someone used a key to open the first door of my room. Thankfully, we had secured the secondary door with a safety chain, preventing full access. Such a security lapse is unacceptable for a hotel claiming "four-star standards." Additionally, on the morning of my departure, I faced extremely unprofessional behavior from a housekeeping staff member. Her conduct lacked basic courtesy, was impatient, and she stood frowning with arms akimbo, which was not only uncomfortable but also raised concerns of possible discrimination. Lastly, the luggage storage service was highly unsatisfactory. My luggage was to be placed in an open, unsupervised area in the lobby, which is far below the standards expected of a “four-star service” hotel. Given these severe issues, especially the alarming security breach, I demand a thorough investigation by your hotel, including police involvement. If these concerns are not satisfactorily addressed, I am prepared to escalate this matter to relevant external authorities. I look forward to your prompt and formal response, including a proposed compensation plan.

All the hotel staff are very kind people. The room was too beautiful. Hotels location is totally convenient for tourists, in my opinion. For example, we came back to the hotel after midnight and it was safe for us.

It was such a nice stay at the Parliament House Hotel even though we just had one night here. It is cozy and staff are friendly. I’d call it a light boutique hotel.

Although it is on the opposite side of the station from the center, you can walk to all the tourist spots, so it's in a good location. The room was clean and cute, and I had a comfortable stay! It was a shame that there was no water and no bathtub, which looked like it was in the picture.

A very traditional, elegant, ancient and solemn hotel, the overall feeling is very good! The location is very convenient. After exiting the Waverley train station, you can reach the hotel in less than 5 minutes on foot. The entrance is very eye-catching. It's just a big uphill walk, and it will be a bit strenuous if you push a large piece of luggage. It only takes 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to the castle. The hotel lobby is very traditional, and the characteristic bonfire hall seems to have entered Santa Claus's home. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and introduced the various facilities in the room in detail. Because Scotland is still quite cold, I didn't feel it when I turned on the heating in the room to the maximum. In the morning, a traditional English breakfast on the first floor of the hotel is absolutely amazing. There is a western restaurant with candlelight dinner next to the hotel, where you can enjoy a sweet world for two! 😍😍

A very good hotel, the room is big enough and the location is convenient.

It pretends to be high-end, but in fact the shower faucet is weird. The nozzle hung high in the wall does not know where to turn on and off, so water cannot come out. The hot and cold water is controlled to flow through the water faucet into the bathtub. Behind is the cemetery, which is a bit scary. The entire hotel is unreasonably expensive and has a gloomy atmosphere.

The room is clean and convenient for travel. You can reach Calton Hill just 100 meters away. The hotel lobby is decorated in a medieval style, and the front desk is friendly. Breakfast can be added to the buffet for 15 pounds per time.

The sanitary environment is good, the heating is sufficient, the beds are clean and comfortable, the hot shower facilities are complete, and the sound insulation effect is good. It is very suitable to stay with friends when traveling. It is highly recommended.

The hotel is too old, and the room type provided is very poor. You need to walk up a narrow spiral staircase. It is very dangerous and hard to carry large luggage. The basin drains very slowly.
