Excellent travel links a d location for the zoo and getting into the city centre.

Great location next door to the zoo. Ten minutes walk to local amenities and several buses directly to the city centre. Lovely bar/restaurant with pool table etc for kids, also lovely views. Lovely sunrise if your room is east facing. Very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming staff.

My expectations weren't very high but I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel smelt amazing & the reception staff were welcoming & friendly. One of the reception staff helped me zip up my dress as I couldn't reach & went out of her way to help me. Breakfast was awesome & checking out was super straight forward. I would recommend in a heartbeat!

One rooms' bed sheet had blood on it, and there was even human hair on it after replacing it. Other room's bathroom shower couldn't be used for bathing, which undoubtedly brought us great troubles and challenges, the experience of the two rooms was very poor, and we were very dissatisfied.

This is your classic Good hotel with plenty of amenities. It is situated by the Edinburgh zoo and has a good bus access to the city centre. This place has a swimming pool, a sauna and a beautiful lobby with a bar. Smooth check in and check out process.

Reception is great rooms are not good.

bed is a bit small, but still comfortable. quiet. The room has everything we need. it was a pleasant stay. location of the hotel is not close to the central area, but bus stop is just a door step, it is convenient to catch a bus to either go to the airport or the central area.

Very nice place to stay

Overall we are satisfied with the stay. It was a little far from the city but we were attending a wedding nearby so it was the right choice :) The breakfast buffet spread was good we enjoyed it very much. We had the chance to use the sauna room and it was a great escape from the cold weather outside. As for the room, it was tastefully decorated. We thought it might be useful to replace the very classy trouser press machine with a small fridge although my husband found it useful with the trouser press XD Would recommend to those who want to visit the zoo nearby.
