The hotel is very beautiful, very clean, the sea scenery is very good, the transportation is also very convenient, and near to the sea. Open your eyes and see the sunrise. The boss is also very warm, there is water and milk in the refrigerator, very satisfied!! I love here and want to stay next time. The lack of lift to move luggage is a little inconvenient, but the spacious rooms and warm decor offset all of this

The room is in the basement, dark and poorly soundproofed. It's a very bad experience to spend hundreds of pounds to stay in the basement. Ctrip misleads people into thinking that the room is like the sea view room in the picture. Bad review

Sea view room is very nice

I stayed here for one night and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in at a hotel. I had a sea view room and the views are wonderful. You are almost on the beach! Service was very good and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

As we live relatively locally to Eastbourne, we'd walked the seafront and passed Port Hotel frequently. It looks great from the outside and we wondered what it would be like inside. Now we know. We had a Seaview room, and it was lovely. A beautiful view of the sea and pier with a small table and binoculars to enhance the view Tea and coffee were very nice. Shower/bathroom lovely...also with a sea view. The bed was very comfy and we didn't experience too much road noise. Eive (apologies if I've spelt that wrong), was lovely and welcoming, 10/10. A great night's stay.

A lovely overnight stay in the Town View room. Room was very clean and modern. Very comfy bed! Staff were all attentive and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice on the menu. Will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

Spent a weekend here as wanted to treat the wife to a trip away. Really well looked after by the staff. As it was off peak and a small hotel they are not always at reception or the bar but they are very good at making arrangements if they are not there. The room was fantastic. Great sea view, really warm, quiet and with blackout curtains. The shower was fine and the room well appointed. We had the chance for a breakfast on the Sunday. It was busy with locals coming in for a treat too but had a fine cooked breakfast. Great stay, thanks

Honestly the best night sleep I've had in years. The bed, bedding and pillows are luxurious. We stayed in a sea view room and the room decor and views were beautiful. The curtains are so well lined that we weren't woken at 6am by the sun like at home so had a lovely morning sleep. The staff are so welcoming, we stayed previously 3 month ago and the manager remembered my name. The little touches make you feel comfortable from the get go. If you are looking for a place to stay in Eastbourne I would 100% recommend.

We liked that the hotel was newer (a lot of other options in town appeared dated). Our room was #7 which faced a back (uninspiring) but quiet alley - which was perfect. There are many posts which mention a lot of stairs...there really aren't that many stairs if you can handle 2-3 flights. I was confused and thought the hotel was many stories tall based on the comments. It's only 3 floors. But no elevators. The breakfast each morning was delicious. There aren't many local coffee shops so good to eat at the lodging. In hindsight, a room facing the front would likely be quiet enough...there is not that much traffic. We loved hiking the 7 Sisters...recommendation, get off at bus stop 9 and hike back to stop 8 or stop 7 with the wind AT YOUR BACK. Shower very strong and cleverly hinged door that pivoted easily in a tight space. No bathroom counter space but not part of expectations. 'Closet' hangs from ceiling and not luxury - just functional. There are umbrellas in room to borrow which came in handy.

We just had a lovely weekend at the Port Hotel! Gorgeous boutique hotel, super friendly staff, special shout out to David who was super helpful with tips where to go! Room decorated lovely, bed super comfy and great shower. We had lovely Kent wine and local beers overlooking a lovely sea view. Highly recommend
