Xiao Du's warm hospitality made us feel at home. The facilities are pretty good. It takes one minute longer to get to the night market than the hotel next to it which is twice as expensive. There is an underground parking lot, which makes it more convenient to drive by yourself. Not bad, but the breakfast is not particularly rich, which is a little bit missing.

I came to Dunhuang late for the National Day holiday, and all the good hotels were sold out. Fortunately, I got this nice hotel, but it was a standard room without windows. The room was quite spacious and had a bathtub. The hotel is about four stars overall, and the breakfast is not bad. There is not much to eat around the hotel, but you can order takeout.

As soon as we arrived at the underground parking lot of the hotel, two waitresses took the initiative to guide us to the elevator (the hotel is quite large) and rushed to help with the luggage. From the garage all the way to the front desk to check in and enter the room, all the staff we met took the initiative to greet us Happy New Year! It happened to be New Year's Eve, and the hotel also very considerately presented hot dumplings, so that we, the foreigners who spent the New Year in Dunhuang, also had a warm Spring Festival. Every staff member of the hotel was very enthusiastic. Special thanks to Sister Yin Yumei of the room service, who was even more enthusiastic and proactive. She cleaned the room very clean and tidy every day, and put the items in the most convenient place for the guests. The most surprising thing was that she also prepared hot foot water, towels, mats, etc., so that we could enjoy the feast of Dunhuang culture while eliminating the fatigue of the journey. This journey to Dunhuang again after a few years really left a good impression. I felt the continuous progress and development of Dunhuang and the cultural confidence of the people of Dunhuang! Quaint hotel! The indoor courtyard is spacious and beautiful. It is cold in the morning and evening, so you can't sit in the courtyard. The room is well heated, and you can also add an electric heater. The bedding is comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, and the soup is more delicious than the beef noodles. The chef is very professional and is also good at Sichuan cuisine. The hotel is close to Mogao Grottoes, and it is not close to Mingsha Bay and the city by car for 15 minutes. The hotel service is average. Thanks to the waiter who took the initiative to take the luggage and open the door. During the period, I also went to Dunhuang Villa. There is harm when there is comparison. The reception there is more down-to-earth. Overall, I feel that individual guests may not be the main reception target here. The aunties serving room service are more enthusiastic and polite, and they consider us everywhere.

I was too tired to play during the May Day holiday. I have not had time to write a review. The hotel is great. The design is very good, giving people the feeling of Japanese service. The facilities in all aspects are very exquisite and the design is very thoughtful. The staff are all handsome men and beautiful women. The only thing to mention is that the details of hygiene need to be improved, but it may be that there are too many people during the National Day, which is understandable. It will be ok if it is strengthened a little more in the future. I will choose to stay here if I have the chance in the future!

You won’t regret staying here. In summary it’s a very nice hotel (quite large actually) that is perfectly located (about 1km walking from the sand dunes (Mingsha mountain and Creacent Moon spring area). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the architecture is also really nice. The views from the roof top terrace (breakfast/ coffee spot) are amazing and the breakfast itself is also quite good. The downside that’s also to mention: Price wise it’s a bit expensive especially during holiday season. Rooms are a bit old and you can hear everyone passing by.

Accommodation in Dunhuang is relatively cheap in the off-season, and the service is also relatively good. The hotel is not far from Mingsha Mountain and is also relatively close to the Dunhuang Night Market. This hotel has airport pick-up service, which is very good. I booked it for one day and directly renewed it for 2 days. The hotel is clean and hygienic, so I won't say much about it. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, the toilet is electric, and the breakfast is very rich and superb.
