"My dears, I must share with you this magical B&B where I stayed recently! This trip was originally just an ordinary relaxation plan, but unexpectedly, because of this homestay, it turned into an unforgettable and wonderful experience.
As we walked into the B&B, the enthusiastic owner came to greet us with a sincere smile on his face, making us feel particularly warm. When I checked in, the boss kindly introduced me to the surrounding attractions and food, just like an old friend I hadn't seen for many years.
The room was a pleasant surprise to me. I stayed in a double room with a balcony. The room was warm and comfortable. The bed was super big and the mattress was so soft it felt like lying on a cloud. The four-piece bed set has a very good texture, feels smooth to the touch, and has a faint lavender scent, which makes me not want to get up once I lie down on it.
This homestay experience was really great and made me feel at home. Here, I not only enjoyed comfortable accommodation and delicious food, but also made many new friends and gained a lot of happiness and memories. If you are also planning a trip, you must come and stay at this B&B. I believe you will love it here!"

- Not clean at all, hairs everywhere, crumbs on the floor, moldy joints (see pictures)
- The younger receptionist wasn't really polite, no greeting or anything.
- A desk but no chairs, a TV badly placed, and the room didn't look like the pictures on trip"

"Free coffee and tea all day! It is difficult to even find coffee packs in convenience shops in China, so the hotel's free coffee was great. I like the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. But I did not like the curtain closing automatically, without a way to draw them back whenever I am in the room. My room had no window, just the toilet window! Hotel location was excellent, walking distance from the night market and many shops and restaurants around."

"The last stop after leaving Dunhuang, I booked this place to visit Crescent Lake. This is a homestay run by local farmers. The indoor environment and sanitation are OK, and the facilities are relatively complete. The boss is a young man, a nice person. He will try his best to meet any needs. He will also drive a farm vehicle to pick you up when you go to the scenic spot. There are many camels nearby. It is said that the camels for riding at Crescent Lake are provided by nearby residents."

In the evenings, a pleasant walk along the river offers beautiful night views and access to numerous street food stalls. It's also within easy reach of various attractions, and on-site parking in the complex is a big plus for convenience.
🤝 **Service:** After a rather challenging night camping in the desert, I messaged the owner early in the morning to inquire about an early check-in. The owner was incredibly responsive and kind, immediately sending the access code and helpful tips. Upon arriving at the apartment via direct elevator, we were pleasantly surprised to find a delicious watermelon waiting for us on the dining table – a truly thoughtful and refreshing welcome!
🏠 **Facilities:** The apartment itself is incredibly spacious! Boasting 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 2 living rooms, it's well-furnished and ideal for larger families or groups of friends traveling together. A good selection of complimentary disposable toiletries was also provided, which was much appreciated.

2205092****This guesthouse is truly unique! Each room is named after one of the twelve zodiac signs, with designs that blend local flair and astrological elements. In the evenings, you can go stargazing, with options for an indoor lecture and actual observation from the rooftop. The instructor mentioned that summer is the best season for stargazing, and if you want to spot your own zodiac constellation, it's best to visit around two months before or after its designated month. They even gave us wishing bottles for our own zodiac signs, which we filled with sand from Mingsha Mountain the next day to take home!
The host is incredibly warm and helpful; you can ask her about local tourism, car rentals, and more – she's very considerate. Breakfast is different every day, with a thoughtful and nutritious selection. There's also an adorable cat who loves to 'accompany' you during meals, often sitting on a chair. She gets so happy if you share half an egg yolk with her every morning! She also recently had three tiny, adorable kittens!
The guesthouse features a classroom and a spacious, bright lobby, making it feel especially suitable for study tour groups. We initially planned to stay two nights but loved it so much we extended for another night. The village atmosphere is quiet and comfortable, and it's about a 15-minute taxi ride to Shazhou Night Market and around 20 minutes to the train station, so transportation is very convenient.
Highly recommend for family trips and educational tours!

When staying in the wilderness, the first thing is to look at the scenery. The scenery of the desert hills is not to mention. Although it is at the foot of the mountain, it is still refreshing.
It’s also great to take photos in an open space. They gave us guidance on how to take pictures of the starry sky and provided a mobile phone holder. It was great. PS. If you come here, be sure to ask the housekeeper or the boss for a candlelight lantern (the store will provide it for free). The atmosphere for taking photos is great. Got it
In terms of meals, we ordered a barbecue from the store and ate on the terrace of the room (four people can sit on it, and if more than four people eat on the sand below the terrace)

The breakfast is also great. There are many varieties, including my favorite bean curd, which made me feel full. The front desk was kind enough to give me warm water when I checked out. Hanting is trustworthy and highly recommended~

GGuest UserDunhuang Special Mingsha Mountain Desert Camping I had experienced desert camping countless times before coming to Dunhuang. My friend went there yesterday and said he never wanted to go there again. Today I browsed Little Red Book and came across a treasure camping site, located deep in the desert of the camping base. The starry sky at night is beautiful, and you can even see the Milky Way. Unfortunately, you can’t take pictures with your mobile phone. It’s very shocking to see it with your own eyes. The boss is very nice and provides unlimited food, which is certainly not comparable to the starchy meatballs served during team camping. Grilled prawns, chicken wings, pork belly, colorful pepper skewers, grilled sausages, corn, broccoli, and local specialty scones. You can drink cola, beer and red wine as much as you want. If you want to eat fruit, call the boss. Everything will satisfy you. There will be an off-road vehicle to pick you up to the campground. Along the way, the little friends exclaimed that it was so exciting and the free roller coaster. The camp also has off-road motorcycles and sandboarding experiences. The most important thing is that there are few people and the environment is good. It may not be suitable for friends who like to have fun. We did not choose to stay overnight, so the boss helped us call a taxi back to the hotel. However, Dunhuang was in peak season and the driver did not come to pick us up. In the end, the boss drove us back to the hotel for free. Really awesome fried chicken!
