Millennium Hotels in Doha

Nice hotel in a down town close location. Unfortunately I first got assigned to a room with heavy cigarette smoke. But the kind and caring personnel did the utmost best to relocate me to a new room. The new room was nice. I booked a room with city view, but the new room just had a wall in front with doves nesting there. I just stayed for 20 hrs and booked a transit tour so I refrained from asking for yet another room. Very friendly stuff and great in room dining options, the Korean/japanese restaurant was great and authentic. Highly recommended.

Everyone made me feel really at home in my 4 days there. Irfan and Muhaidi and the others at Front Desk listened carefully for my requests and tried to help wherever they could and provided information for me around town. Gamal introduced me to the room and also took the initiative to guide me around the neighbourhood the next day. Staff at the Lounge also made watching World Cup matches there comfortable and enjoyable, sometimes coming over to make small talk about the football and was able to attend to our every need. For location, the hotel is within 5min walk to a Metro station and amenities like restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies. Room was great, but found deposits unfortunately at the kettle spout. Hotel is a great place to stay if you want peace and comfort. It's in a nice location with friendly staff and cozy rooms. The food is delicious, and they have spa and fitness facilities. They also care about the environment. The Wi-Fi could be faster, but overall, it's a wonderful place for a relaxing trip.
