2-Star Hotels in Doha

Hello fellow travelers and Visitors, I am writing to share my very first time to stay at a two star hotel in my life. Frankly, It has changed my mind and open my mind that really it doesn’t matter the rate of the hotel, however, the staff were incredibly friendly, taking every initiative to make someone’s day, they are always happy, generous, always smiling and caring. The manager was from the UK and she made every thing seems like you are staying at home with your family, mates and friends. Furthermore, the room I stayed in was 302, specious and cozy. it has a comfortable twin beds, a nice wardrobe, an ironing board, extension wires, TV, a microwave, of course great toilet. Nothing to complain, it doesn’t feel you are at a typical hotel nor a hostel and It is a place where you call it home away from home. There are affordable dry cleaners, you are able to walk to Souk Waqif just around 20 minutes. There is a mosque beside the hotel. Overall, my experience has been a five star experience at a two star hotel. The staff are your best friends and locations is safe, I highly recommend it if you are on a budget and seek to have a great experience. Have a great time in Doha, Qatar.

Perfect hotel for 3 night stay during the fifa World Cup staff is very accommodating NICE AND CLEAN ROOMS EXCELLENT 👌 plenty of choices of drinks and others breakfats is excellent BUG THUMBS UP FOR everyone’ DESPITE OF BUSY HOTEL THEN WELL recommended

Location very good, many restaurants and convenience store nearby , walking distance to metro station. Good value for money. However, House keeping service very poor and response very slow. Due to short of towers and floor mat in the apartment, we have went down to reception to request however ther was not action until next day we have to request and request again .

The best thing was that souq waqif was about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. I would go in my wheelchair to the souq waqif station and take a metro. the metro line was awesome to travel in a budget even the national museum station was close by but I never dared to go there because the road to the place was all under construction. since the roads were under construction it was a nuisance to try and walk but I guess it is just temporary otherwise the place is very close to a lot of places. the hotel is wheelchair friendly, even there breakfast room is accessible by wheelchair on the 9th floor.There is a big ramp to get into the building. That is a small grocery store just next to the hotel and the lane outside has a lot of restaurants which seem to be quiet reasonable even though I did not get a chance to visit them. the room I was given was very spacious I guess it was specially given to me because of my wheelchair. if I needed help and I would call them they would immediately send their staff to help me. The breakfast had a good layout there was hummus and khaboos everyday, cheese slices, salami slices also upma or noodles alternate days and regular breakfast stuff with choice of tea coffee or juice was part of the menu.

It is very nice hotel, surrounded with restaurants, value for money, staffs are friendly, especially I would like to thank Sharfaraz khan, he been very helpful for comfortable stay. Happy stay ...... :)

I recommend try this experience to stay on this hotel. Hotel location is near to metro Station . Restaurant and super market and other Servers are near to.

The location is relatively good. It's in the city center. It's very convenient to go anywhere. It's very close to Souq Waqif. It's also quick to take a taxi to the airport. The price is not expensive. The room is relatively large. We booked it temporarily for a break. The price/performance ratio is okay. The smell of smoke in the room I was in was exaggerated, because it was just a temporary break for half a day. Forget it, the cleaning staff might be there in the afternoon. We were in there, but they opened the wrong door. After opening it, they found that we were there and ran away. I asked the front desk and explained that it was the cleaning staff, so it was okay. However, this was a big work mistake. There was a construction site outside the window and there was no scenery.

I had an 8 hour layover in Doha. I had booked the room in advance so I knew I would have it available when I arrived. For an airside hotel in particular, the Oryx is very comfortable and does exactly what most connecting travelers will need it to do. The room can be made completely dark. The bed is comfortable. The shower is a luxury huge rain shower with a full complement of toiletries. The TV displays the current flight board so you can see the status and gate for your flight any time you want. It was centrally located and should be convenient to any connection. Things that could be improved: Signage. There are no signs for this hotel in the terminal and the entrance is obscured. I had to ask for directions from a retail employee at one of the shops. Minibar: There is bottled water in the room but no mini-bar. A mini bar would be very useful for connecting travelers who just need a beverage and a snack and want to maximize sleep time without having to shop for food in the terminal or wait for room service.

Chef nikita is best you have , she is so kind and well example of hospitality industry member , well , buffet have a great variety. Everything was superb definately advisable , i will love to come back, offcourse service staff take care fantastically

The location is good as you can walk to famous sightseeing spots such as Musharaib Downtown and Souwaqif, and the nightly rate is not expensive, so it is recommended.
