The Inn is located at the top of the upper Yubeng village. The good point is that you can have a very good unblock view. The downside for now is that you need to climb up from the lower Yubeng or call a car to send you up. But this will not be an issue after the authority completes road construction from Xidang village. The Inn has its own resturant. My wife and I enjoy the food they serve. It's really one of the better ones in the village. Part of the Inn is still under construction. It will become nicer after they complete it. The room price is on a higher end but we enjoyed our stay.

He lent us a hiking pole and patiently helped us find the way. In the end, he was very responsible and arranged for someone to send our leftovers to Lijiang. 10 points! Yourland Hotel is run and operated by a very hard working lady who essentially does everything herself - from welcoming guests, cooking breakfast, cleaning the rooms and washing the bed sheets & laundry. The rooms are very clean and neatly organised, it has all the comforts that any hiker should need in such a remote location that is high up in the mountains (e.g. electric blankets, warm showers, etc.) Please do note that the warm water does need sometime to reheat especially if another guest takes a shower right away after the first guest. It will not be sufficient time for the water heating machine to heat the water. You should take note of the number that is displayed on the water heater. By default in our room, it showed the number of 44 and after the first guest took the shower, it went down to 19. If someone takes a shower right away at that moment, it will be cold so the next person should wait a bit until the number displayed moves up. The views in the morning are amazing as you can see the mountain ranges on three different sides so you get a very good panoramic view from the terrace of the hotel. After a long day of hiking, our moods were lightened up when we were welcomed by the friendly and playful Labrador Retriever whose name is Dou Dou. Such a lovely dog ＜3. I would recommend you to stay here if you are looking for a place to stay in Upper Yubeng, it's good base for your planned hikes to the Glacier Lake and Nise Ranch. The place might be a bit difficult to locate if you arrive in Yubeng late at night (like we did since we walked all the way from Ninong, which was really tiring), but once you get the gist of it, it's very easy to remember and locate.

The location of the hotel is very good. You can directly view the Jinshan Mountain in the morning. The viewing effect is very good. The big bed is spacious and clean. There is plenty of hot water. The boss Bin is very enthusiastic. You can find him if you need anything here. It makes you feel very comfortable here. , you can chat and play cards when you have nothing to do. It’s also great to watch the stars at night. I’ve been eating the meals cooked by Brother Bin for the past few days. His cooking skills are also very nice.

Good location, beautiful scenery, the boss and the proprietress are hospitable, and the aunt is responsible. The inn’s cooking is delicious, not losing outside. In the days of Yubeng, I was tired and happy.

After looking at several hotels, I finally decided to stay here. The location is great, facing the snow-capped mountains. Just lie on the bed and open the curtains, and you don't have to wait outside with your hands and feet frozen for the sun to shine on the golden mountains and the moon to shine on the silver mountains. There is a piano in the homestay, which is very special. At night, I sat around the fire and read books, and suddenly I felt like I had been here before. The boss happened to come to Yubeng that day. He was very nice. He was from Guangdong. After chatting, I found out that the ”Snow Mountain Wake Up” homestay we stayed in Feilai Temple was also his. It was a coincidence that the location was also very good. The boss must be obsessed with the snow-capped mountains.

The room was pleasant enough (slight smell of smoke) and reasonably clean. Sheets were impeccable and the bed very comfortable. I slept well but not very long (the altitude...) The people who run the place are very very nice. The lady at breakfast offered me more food several times and was just generally a very good host. They insisted carrying my heavy luggage up the stairs for me. Also, they had a terrace to watch the sunrise from. I paid about 200RMB for the room and thought it was good value. I'd stay again, if not for the room, then for the people!
