The room was clean and tidy, with good water pressure, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a viewing platform. Of course, I came here just for the delicious food. I ordered dishes as soon as I arrived. The boiled beef was served and the smell was delicious without using chopsticks. The beef was very tender. The chili was very fragrant but not very spicy. It also took care of those who can't eat spicy food. I later added vegetables that were grown by the owner himself and tasted very fresh. The mapo tofu was really yyds. Use a spoon! Use a spoon! He lent us a hiking pole and patiently helped us find the way. In the end, he was very responsible and arranged for someone to send our leftovers to Lijiang. 10 points! Yourland Hotel is run and operated by a very hard working lady who essentially does everything herself - from welcoming guests, cooking breakfast, cleaning the rooms and washing the bed sheets & laundry. The rooms are very clean and neatly organised, it has all the comforts that any hiker should need in such a remote location that is high up in the mountains (e.g. electric blankets, warm showers, etc.) Please do note that the warm water does need sometime to reheat especially if another guest takes a shower right away after the first guest. It will not be sufficient time for the water heating machine to heat the water. You should take note of the number that is displayed on the water heater. By default in our room, it showed the number of 44 and after the first guest took the shower, it went down to 19. If someone takes a shower right away at that moment, it will be cold so the next person should wait a bit until the number displayed moves up. The views in the morning are amazing as you can see the mountain ranges on three different sides so you get a very good panoramic view from the terrace of the hotel. After a long day of hiking, our moods were lightened up when we were welcomed by the friendly and playful Labrador Retriever whose name is Dou Dou. Such a lovely dog ＜3. I would recommend you to stay here if you are looking for a place to stay in Upper Yubeng, it's good base for your planned hikes to the Glacier Lake and Nise Ranch. The place might be a bit difficult to locate if you arrive in Yubeng late at night (like we did since we walked all the way from Ninong, which was really tiring), but once you get the gist of it, it's very easy to remember and locate.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is perfectly situated in town, offering breathtaking views right from our room (for sunset and sunrise see photos). The location alone makes it a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The owner even parked our car right in front of the hotel. Even though we don’t speak Chinese, communication was smooth thanks to a translation app. Their hospitality truly stood out, and we appreciated their warm and accommodating attitude. The only downside was that our room was quite cold until the heating started working in the evening. Overall, despite this small issue, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a scenic and welcoming place to stay in the Meili Snow Mountains!

Kim’s Youth Hostel is located in the backyard of Lower Yubeng and offers private ensuite rooms with basic shower amenities. It is about 5 mins walk to the main stretch of restaurants and shops at Lower Yubeng and 10mins walk to the transport pickup area (to Upper Yubeng/ Ninong Village). The room offers some views of the valley but is partially obstructed by buildings in front of it. Breakfast starts after 7.30am but our plans started earlier. We didn’t get the breakfast but chose to buy a 35rmb sandwich instead. The accommodation does not provide bottled water. Instead, there is a filtered water dispenser at the lobby/dining area to refill your bottles.

I live very comfortably and comfortably. The restaurant next door is his. The owner is from Guangzhou, so many Guangzhou flavors are very suitable for me. Yubeng is often rainy and humid, so it is very comfortable to have a fire in the restaurant. The boss is very kind, I will come again next time I have a chance

The space is more spacious than expected It felt like I was back in my own country. The quilt was a little heavy, but we slept well. The restaurant downstairs is delicious and suits our taste very well. We ate there for 2 nights in a row and it was raining after we finished eating. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and the lady boss is very nice. Regarding the Coke I brought, I just asked if I got it here or if I brought it myself. There was no ill intention at all. I thought it was strictly forbidden to bring your own food. The inn also has 12 cats, which are so cute. They have cat toys and electric blankets, which is really great in the countryside. Will recommend it to friends who want to live in Shangyubeng

Yubeng's favorite inn! none of them! Originally, I didn't have any great expectations for Yubeng's accommodation and food and drink. I thought I was here to endure hardships on foot, but Xingzhe Mountain House has completely subverted my original idea! First of all, I have to say that the cooking skills of the proprietress Jiege are really great! It's like a master chef. Everything is delicious. Every time we come back from the walk, we have a delicious meal waiting for us. It's really cool and satisfying! Secondly, the guest room in the Xingzhe Mountain House is very comfortable, clean and refreshing. The other three tons of hot water reserve in Yubeng is a luxury. Hot water is available 24 hours a day and anywhere. It can be seen that the boss has a comfortable place for travelers. How much effort has been put into the accommodation. Every time I come back on foot, I feel exhausted and tired. I go back to the inn to take a hot bath. The key is the heater, which is full of blood! Finally, the boss, Brother Hui, is a great mountaineering god himself. If you want to take the small Shenhu route, Xidang Ranch route, etc., you can let him take it with him, which is very reliable! Don't be deceived by his cold appearance, in fact, he is very careful and will take care of people. When we went to Shenhu Lake, it was very slow to slide away in the rain on the way back. Brother Hui always patiently followed at the end of the team, guarding us all the way down the mountain, and picking bamboo shoots for us to eat. The experience is simply full. Originally, I thought that it would be raining and falling, but I thought that I would definitely not have such a good accommodation experience as the Traveler's Mountain House if I changed to another inn, so I was reluctant to leave. I will definitely live here next winter.

The hotel is very close to the drop-off point of Shangyubeng, and it is very friendly to people who get up early and catch a dusty man into the village. The room did not have air conditioning, but it was not cold to sleep with an electric blanket, but it was a bit cold to change clothes in the bath. The bathroom light in the room is a bit dark, and the boss can upgrade it as appropriate. You can bring your own disposable cotton slippers, and there are plastic slippers for bathing in the hotel. The boss is very enthusiastic and enthusiastic, action! On the day I walked to the ice lake, the shoes were wet because of snow and stepped on the glacier. I sent WeChat to the boss to let him make a fire and bake the shoes. The little friend who stayed at the hotel quickly made a fire and waited for us.
