Stayed for 2 nights. The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. I originally booked a king-size bed room with a balcony. The only drawback was that the signal tower in the middle of the balcony blocked part of the view of Songshan Mountain. I always felt uncomfortable. The second room was changed by the store and upgraded to a suite. The space was larger and the bed was bigger.

After a trip to Yinji Amusement Park, I chose to stay in this hotel again. Due to the low occupancy rate of the rooms when I checked in, the front desk helped to upgrade the room type for free and gave me a breakfast voucher, which was great. The room was still simple and bright without any peculiar smell. There is a shopping mall (Dayu City) one kilometer away from the hotel. There are many street food at night, which is worth a visit. The hotel is located 14 kilometers away from Shaolin Temple, and it is convenient to take a taxi. For friends who travel to Dengfeng or on business trips, I recommend this hotel.

It's quite close to Sanhuangzhai by taxi. There is a large parking lot in front of the hotel. The rooms are relatively new and the sound insulation is good. Since the sound insulation of the previous hotel was not very good, I switched to this hotel and had a good sleep. The ladies at the front desk are also very enthusiastic. A small problem was that there was no hot water in the shower that night. It was a little warmer than normal temperature. I don’t know what happened, but it was acceptable and it was not cold. I guess it was an isolated problem.

I had an incredibly enjoyable time here. The boss and his family are adorable and very available. The rooms are clean and quiet. The house is well located next to the central street and shops. It’s very easy to get to places of interest around and find a taxi. The boss knows his region very well and he loves history. I had a fabulous stay. cherry on the cake, his brother-in-law makes burgers and a delicious coffee two minutes away.

The first day of the National Day, I was blocked until midnight. The store was very enthusiastic. I personally drove to the intersection to pick us up. The homestay was very clean and all facilities were available. It is highly recommended to stay.

The environment of the homestay is great, the faucet water flow is also large, clean and hygienic. There is no night tour now, and the proprietress can lead the way, which is a different experience!

When checking out, the waiter takes the initiative to greet you and take the room card to complete the check-out without waiting. Shuhua at the front desk is warm and professional, and upgraded the room. Parking is convenient, the transportation location is also very good, and it is very quiet to sleep at night. The view from the balcony room is great! I brought my own tea set, drinking tea and looking at the scenery of Shaoshi Mountain is great! Next time I go with friends, I will try their villa.

GGuest UserAll in all we are quite satisfied with our short stay. We haven't used any of the hotel amenities like swimming pool or restaurant, so it's impossible to comment upon them. However, we'd like to say thank you to the stuff that is available any time. It turned out that one faucet didn't work properly and we only found it out at around 11 p.m. We called service number and the problem was solved within 10 minutes. One more pleasant thing is the pillow menu) The beds are generally very comfortable (unlike in many other Chinese hotels), but you still can choose an orthopedic pillow to your liking. That was very nice! Location is good (around 15 min to the mountain park entrance and to the bus station).
Unfortunately, we are not very happy with the view. (It was a mountain view room). Yes, we saw a pagoda and the mountains, but also the construction site right below our windows. Workes started their day at around 7 a.m., which was clearly heard in our room. In addition, there's some soft music constantly playing in the corridor. Definitely not for those who are sensitive to extra sounds.

1. The location is excellent. I went to Dengfeng for Shaolin Temple and Songshan (these are two places). The hotel is very close to both places, and there is a large parking lot without worry. At the same time, there is a food street within three kilometers, which is enough for a few days of different food.
2. The hotel is an old five-star hotel, and it still has a lot of heritage. The room is large and well-equipped. Breakfast and necessary ordering in the evening are very convenient and the price is reasonable.
3. The service is very proactive. When you see you holding something, you will ask if you need a bag or help carrying it. Check-out is convenient.
In addition, if you go to Shaolin Temple, it is recommended to climb back from Sanhuangzhai if your physical strength allows, and finally visit Shaolin Temple. If you have one more day, you can go to Songshan + Songyang Academy

All the staff was extremely nice, while also making an extra effort for us to feel comfortable and communicate with us, which is not a given in other hotels in China as they usually don’t speak English. We are particularly thankful to Lina, Xiao Jing and Xiao Ming for the attentive care of us. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Location was perfect for visiting the Shaolin temple, only took a short taxi ride to get there. We had a chance to try the food during breakfast and dinner and it didn’t disappoint. Everything we had was delicious.
We would come back, highly recommended.

The stay was very nice!
Very comfy bed with great duna and linen. The shower was awesome! And the room is beautiful. The breakfast room/reception is nice to relax at and there is also a living room when you enter the building were you can relax as well.
Try to get a room on a higher floor and you get some mountain views.
The owners are lovely and the husband is a somilier and gave us a glass of wine for free when we ordered dinner. You really need to try their food! It was really nice and so was the breakfast. We had dinner twice when we were there, try the sizzling beef and mushrooms.
The staff is really nice and helpful especially the owners brother that helped us a lot with everything! We will for sure stay here again when we visit Dengfeng. We did some really long hikes around Dengfeng and it is really worth it.

GGuest UserThis place is very close to the entrance of the Taishi shan in the Song mountain area. The house is clean and is tastefully decorated. The owner is very helpful and a gracious host. He interacted with me well and showed his collection of antiques.He is a positive and energetic person. For hiking Taishi shan, this place is an ideal base. Shaolin temple is a bit away but one can easily access Shaolin temple by taxi. I stayed here for 2 nights and it was a wonderful experience.
Please remember that this is a home-stay and not a hotel. This is an ideal place to explore Songshan mountain area. I highly recommend this place.

Uun_guillouVery familial guesthouse as close as it can be from Shaolin Monastery. The owners cook good food and can drive you everywhere for a price. The wife is a guide, so she's very resourceful about what to see and do in the area. The husband's brother is a Shaolin monk so you can speak about kung-fu with him. We had a little misunderstanding at the beginning as I had booked a room with a mountain view and the one prepared had no window to the outside but I was able to change rooms. With their help I was able to hike everywher on the beautiful mountains around as I was less interested in kung-fu than the scenery.

The bathroom has a clean countertop that can hold many things, and the shower water is large and sufficient. Parking is convenient. Because I arrived late, the boss specially found a spot.
