This newly built hotel is amazing with elegant antique decoration furnitures & equipped with smart facilities. The location is very convenient, within walking distance to the lively ancient city. Beautifully prepared breakfast was served every morning. The boss & family are super friendly, nice & provided impeccable service. Giving us thoughtful excursion ideas & recommendations which saved us a lot of time & efforts. We highly recommend this hotel without a doubt & would definitely return again in the future.

Wonderful hotel, I recommend it without a doubt, the building is beautiful, it is within walking distance of the old city, beautiful rooms, clean, quiet .... but what makes the difference is the attention of the owners, wonderful people, helped us in everything, provided us with a car for excursions and even prepared a breakfast more adapted to our habit. Our stay at Yunqi Xiangshe was a truly delightful experience. The hotel is newly built, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the owner welcomed us warmly, making us feel right at home. The property offers private parking, which is very convenient, and it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the heart of the ancient city—an ideal location for exploring Datong. Each room is thoughtfully decorated, blending modern style with artistic touches that reflect the owner’s care and refined taste. Each morning, we were treated to a beautifully prepared breakfast, along with complimentary coffee and tea throughout the day. It’s those small, thoughtful details that really elevate the experience. In short, Yunqi Xiangshe is a perfect combination of comfort, style, and heartfelt hospitality. I would gladly recommend it to all my friends and look forward to returning again in the future

All members of the staff were very kind and attentionate. The room was nice, even without a window: probably the best sleep we had in a while ! My only issue would be that we were across from the breakfast room so it was a bit noisy as early as 7.30: you can probably ask to change room if it’s your case. But apart from that I highly recommend. It’s a bit out of the nice streets in the old city, but therefore very calm. Good value for money 👍🏻

It is a 5-minute walk from the north wall of the ancient city and the Sculpture Museum, and a 15-minute walk from the Drum Tower-Huayan Temple-Ancient Road Scenic Area. The B&B is owned by the owner's family, so it is decorated very well, with an overall neo-Chinese style, pure wooden furniture, and smart control throughout the house. I care more about beds and pillows. The hard bed + latex pillow are very comfortable. The toiletries, slippers and other consumables are much more advanced than those in ordinary B&Bs! Breakfast is a set meal with side dishes such as egg rolls, millet porridge and privately-made knife-cut noodles. It is delicious and satisfies the energy needs for the whole morning. The boss and his family are super nice! The boss is warm and simple, the boss's wife is proactive and attentive, the young ladies and young masters are very cute, and the housekeeper is attentive. It was a perfect accommodation experience. I hope the store will do better and better, and the boss and his family will be happy!

The parent-child room has two beds, so both adults and children can have a good rest. There is also a bathtub and disposable bathtub bags, which the children like very much. The drinking water is directly bottled water from an instant drinking machine, which is cleaner and more hygienic than a kettle. Moreover, this bed is extremely comfortable to sleep on. My waist aches after a day of walking around, and this bed is very friendly to me. I am most afraid of soft mattresses, which make me feel more tired the more I sleep on them. The boss and his wife are super nice, warm and thoughtful. They will give you travel advice and remind you to put on more clothes when the temperature drops. You can also have tea and chat in the lobby when you come back, and they also give gifts to children. The breakfast was simple and exquisite, with noodles, millet porridge and some side dishes, it was very delicious. The boss said it is more comfortable to visit Shanxi in the summer to escape the heat, and there will be far fewer people than during the May Day holiday. In summer, you can have a barbecue and enjoy the cool air at the door of the inn. Datong is great, but unfortunately I had something to do and only spent two and a half days there. I will go back if I have the chance! Come stay again!

在攜程上搜了很長時間才決定定的這一家，非常驚喜，房間乾淨整潔，全屋智能，連喝水都是礦泉水指引的，很贊。民宿就在魁星樓旁邊，去各個景點都很近，鬧中取靜，晚上非常安靜，遊玩一天後可以好好休息，不必擔心周圍喧嘩，真的屬於鬧中取靜了。前台小姐姐、做飯的大姐和打掃衞生的大姐都很熱情周到，我們最後一天要趕高鐵來不及吃早餐，還會幫我們打包路上吃，真正讓我們感受到了家的温暖。後推薦給朋友同事的，以後有機會來大同也會繼續住在這裏。

臨時決定去大同古城玩，匆忙間定了這家民宿，來了後才發現是小別墅的地下室改造的房間，但沒想到 設施：很好，乾濕分離，智能馬桶，空調也足，榻榻米床墊，睡眠質量很好，也沒覺得會憋氣，一覺到天亮，唯一不好的就是小餐廳也在一層，7點多點就被吃飯的吵醒了，另外民宿早餐很有營養，九宮格，小米粥，搭配的很好，也好吃，具體有什麼，下面看圖片吧，另外店家接待很熱情，還切好西瓜給我們吃，總之住的很踏實，沒踩雷，祝店家生意興隆！！

民宿的前台小妹和老闆非常熱情，剛到大同還會免費接送的民宿，但是房間太小了，房間裏沒有小桌子就一把椅子，一個人入住還行，多人入住行走都很不方便，房間裏的櫃子和床都是實木的但是味道很重，小朋友入住後一直打噴嚏，早餐用的碗筷很不乾淨就一個阿姨，雖然態度非常熱情但是手洗的碗真的很不乾淨，上面還殘留物，打掃清潔的阿姨也非常熱情，在洗衣房洗了衣服曬乾後她會幫忙疊好送到房間裏，房裡配備的直飲機是手動的太小了，操作很不方便。

來大同前刷了三天民宿評價，最後定了這家藏在古城裡的民宿，住完衹想説：選對了！ 位置真的絕，從民宿步行到華嚴寺正門才5分鐘，晚上逛古城不用找車位，溜達着就能打卡所有夜景。最驚喜的是鬧中取靜，傍晚老闆會點起紅燈籠，坐在院裏喝茶看星星，完全避開了主街的喧囂。 房間是古風設計但藏着現代貼心，木雕花窗配着棉麻床品，躺上去軟乎乎的像陷進雲朵裏。熱水來得快，24小時都夠熱，連浴室拖鞋都是帶防滑墊的厚款。早上拉開窗簾，能看到隔壁屋頂的青瓦和遠處的鼓樓檐角，曬着太陽吃老闆送的黃米涼糕，這才是古城慢生活啊！ 第二天早起想拍華嚴寺晨光，老闆娘特意提前半小時煮了小米粥，配着本地醃菜，暖乎乎的超舒服。臨走前還塞了兩袋渾源涼粉調料，説“回去自己拌也能嘗着味兒”。 房間裏的智能馬桶、床頭USB插座、24小時恆温的熱水器，把古風和便利平衡得剛好。晚上窩在沙發上看電影，窗外是古城的月光，感覺比住星級酒店還愜意。 真心推薦給所有來大同的朋友，這不僅是個睡覺的地方，更像在古城有了個臨時的家。下次來大同，行李直接寄這兒就行——我們已經約好明年再來住他們家！
