Amazing little homestay style hotel near the northern part of the ancient city wall. You can enter the wall from the West side (大同古城(清远门)) and descend from north (大同古城(武定门)) or vice versa. Takes approx 10-15min walk to Huayan Temple, or you can easily didi. The place was a little hard to find at first, it is slightly hidden behind the first row of the shoplots facing the road near the roundabout. The cozy little place was serene and breakfast was simple but nice. Beds were comfy. Recommended

Very enjoyable stay at this little hotel. The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond, arranging travel, suggesting outings, even sometimes playing with the kids. New fresh fruit in the room every day. All the amenities are quite new and modern. Suggestion: the elevator goes straight into the kitchen. Staff should come in through the stairs and door so they can knock and wait before entering.

A very quiet and convenient homestay in the ancient city. The two housekeepers gave us a warm and gentle feeling for two days. The room was full of fruits, and breakfast could be customized according to your needs. It was really nice!

I didn't expect a B&B at this price to be so smart. The room is actually equipped with laundry detergent (old mothers with children say it is very needed, and few hotels provide it) Herborist for washing (this one is very affordable), smart toilet, and bathtub. The shaved noodles for breakfast were even more delicious than what we had eaten outside. Before going to bed the next night, the child kept saying that he wanted to get up and eat the noodles the next day. Thanks to Sister Liu and Sister Fan who accompanied us these three days. They were very enthusiastic and helped me print homework for my children. The hotel has free bicycles, which is convenient for riding in and out to various attractions during the day. The breakfast provided is also very rich. Because we have to get up early on the first day to go to the scenic spots, the clerk specially got up early to prepare breakfast for us to take with us on the way. This stay was a very good experience. It not only left a deep impression on Datong, but also left unforgettable memories of Datong people and Datong hotels.
