Gorgeous view of the lake from our room, huge bathroom with picture windows, excellent breakfast and room service. Also very close to the Dambulla cave temple and Sigiriya.

Private manor, private butler, pure English breakfast, 6 rooms in a hotel. It's very peaceful and beautiful. The morning sunlight shines through the windows into different corners of the room, making it warm and cozy.

I made a reservation around Dambulla to rest one more day in Sigiriya, and they let me check in 2 hours early. The staff were really friendly, and the owner of the restaurant next to the pool was really kind. They also provided room service, so I was able to rest well. The hotel was spacious, so it was nice to walk around, but I recommend going to the treetop. It would be really nice to do yoga there. I wanted to go to the pool, but there were too many Westerners, lol. They booked a taxi for me the next morning and packed breakfast for me, so I was grateful. The room was the same as in the picture and was very spacious.

Located about 10 minutes from the centre of Dambulla, Tuktuk is a quiet hotel surrounded by a mango forest. Several monkeys jumped from time to time and jumped into the hotel's attic. The breakfast is plentiful and the service is quite in place. I feel that the occupancy rate is not high, which may be the reason for the location. There is a convenience store at the door. Tuktuk at his house should pay more attention to bargaining. Don't listen to him bragging. Don't ask me why I know. Bad old man, very bad!

The hotel is right next to the cave temple and you can walk past it, which is very convenient. The hotel can report to Lion Rock for a group tour, or charter a car to Lion Rock, and then go to the ancient city. The price is billed in US dollars.
