First of all, I would like to complain about the poor location of the hotel! The surrounding area is shabby and there is no good food. There is a building materials market next to it. Many people’s comments about the good location are fake, right? The second complaint is that the house is small and the design is poor! The washbasin is in the living room, with straight edges and a flat surface, so there’s water all over the floor after you wash your face! You will fall down in no time if you wear disposable slippers in the hotel! I have pictures to prove it! I don't know who was in charge of the decoration. The bedside table is so simple, like a small stool that can be moved around at will. The mobile phone always falls to the ground. The design of the bedside lamp is also very bad! Very low, always banging your head! There are often problems with the room card. It cannot be used before check-out time. In hot weather, you can only wait at the door. The hotel customer service said that maybe the person walked too far with the room card and came back like this! Oh my god, this is the first time I hear such a statement after staying in dozens of hotels! The hotel has very small windows, and the outside is extremely dirty! All in all, the experience is super bad! Super bad!

HOtel with big rooms, clean bathroom, white fluffy towels and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Good to stay here. I like how big the rooms are. Even comes with a wiriting desk. And over room overlook the Russian street. We didnt use the metro in Dalian so am not sure where the Metro is. Taking the taxi from Dalian Railway station to this hotel is RMB 50. Only about 15 mins to get to the hotel. If one like nice quiet atmosphere, this is the hotel to stay.

I was hesitant after reading the reviews about the old facilities, but I finally decided to stay here because of the high cost performance. The service is five stars. A family of three booked a family suite, which is very spacious. The bathtub shower is very comfortable. Convenient transportation. The buffet breakfast is also OK, and the variety is relatively complete at nearly 10 o'clock. It is close to Donggang, and I had Japanese food in the Pavilion Mall near the hotel. I will stay here again next time.

We stayed at this excellent hotel for three nights during our first visit to Dalian in May. The room was very clean and had some very useful amenities such as a refrigerator, clothes washer and a bidet toilet. It was very convenient to wash our clothes and save money. The staff was very helpful and kind. Mr. Chen helped me find an excellent Thai massage spa (Tai Baba) nearby and helped us get taxis. We are especially grateful to the manager Mr. Leon. He left his busy post at the front desk and walked with me several blocks to get medicine for my wife who was briefly ill. We opted for the Chinese breakfast all three days and it was very good. However, the western food selection was limited. That was not a problem for us because the Chinese food was delicious. We are from the USA. Mr. Leon recommended an excellent Japanese restaurant (Konoha or Jiuye) with a huge menu selection in the same building. We ate there twice and there was a waitress who spoke fluent Japanese. There are many Japanese restaurants in close walking distance to the hotel. Also, the hotel is located near a shopping mall with a huge food court on the top floor. We recommend Chinese and foreigners to stay at the Shan Shui S Hotel when visiting Dalian. It made our trip to the beautiful, friendly city of Dalian memorable.
