The room was very comfortable. All clean, good air conditioning and illuminated. The staff is so kind and friendly. They were all time in communication, before and during my stay, attentive to what I could need.

## Wonderful Family Stay at The Castle Dalian We stayed as a family for four nights at The Castle Dalian and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our spacious and beautifully decorated room on the 12th floor offered stunning views of the sea, making our stay truly memorable. The hotel’s entrance lobby is impressively large and elegantly designed, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. For families with children, there is a large play area available, which requires an additional fee. Fortunately, hotel guests receive a discounted rate. Outside, the hotel boasts a charming small park with fantastic views over the bay and lovely landscaping—perfect for a relaxing stroll. The hotel is situated on a small hill, so the walk back to the city center is a bit long. However, the free shuttle bus service is very convenient, providing easy transport down to the city and back. Our room was thoughtfully furnished and very spacious, including a large and well-equipped bathroom. One minor downside was that there was only one power outlet next to the bed (on one side only), and no USB ports for charging phones, which would have been a nice addition. Breakfast and other meals at the hotel were delicious, with a rich selection of both Chinese and Western dishes to choose from. The only area for improvement would be the cleanliness of the restrooms in the breakfast restaurant, which unfortunately were often untidy and in need of more frequent attention. The swimming pool, maintained at 27°C, was not ideal for small children as there is no separate kids’ section. Guests should also note that wearing a swim cap is mandatory. The pool area includes a mini Finnish sauna and a steam sauna integrated into the changing rooms. However, there are only loungers next to the pool, so the sauna experience was quite different from the relaxing sauna visits we are used to in Europe. Overall, The Castle Dalian offers a lovely stay with beautiful views, excellent food, and family-friendly amenities, making it a great choice for travelers visiting the area.

Very clean hotel, close to airport, room is big enough, except very little smoking smell which is typical of hotel in northeast China and much better than other hotels; I love the free laundry and BF, laundry provide detergent plus dryer, BF is rich including both western and Chinese style, fruit, drink, toast, egg, sausage and Chinese soup, vegetables, dumplings, noodles, and more. The BF may not as many options as 4 stars hotel but definitely good enough and fresh and clean.

The room is very clean, well maintained, and the service quality is high. The environment is beautiful, the soundproofing is very good, and the front desk lady is very enthusiastic. I came here with my partner, and I will give priority to this hotel next time I come to Dalian. The location is very good, convenient for travel, the surrounding area is lively, and there are many things to do.

I took my family out for a trip. There were three adults and one child. I was still struggling about where to stay. It was a good choice to stay in this hotel. The room also had a 1.5-meter sofa bed, which was very comfortable. The hotel also provided bed guards and disposable bathtub covers, so it was very convenient for children to take a bath in the bathtub. There was also a children's playground downstairs, but it was not open during the week. Every employee in the hotel had a very good service attitude. I am very grateful to the front desk sister Selina for her enthusiastic service and for giving us an extra breakfast. I thought it was far from the beach, but it was actually very convenient to drive to Xinghai Square in less than ten minutes. The most important thing is that there are so many delicious foods on Taiyuan Street next to the hotel, and there is also a vegetable market very close to it, so those who want to go to the morning market can also be satisfied. I will stay here again when I go to Dalian in the future

The hotel is conveniently located about a 3-minute walk from Exit D of 西安路(Xianlu) Station, and it takes less than 30 minutes to get to the airport. Right in front of the hotel, there’s a nightclub and a street lined with food stalls mainly frequented by locals. It gets lively at night. I stayed in a room facing the street, but since it was on the 6th floor, the noise from outside wasn’t too bothersome. However, the soundproofing between rooms isn’t great. I could hear sounds from neighboring rooms. The shower and toilet facilities are basic. Note that in some rooms, the bathroom isn’t fully separated from the rest of the space. Two 500ml bottles of water were provided and replenished daily. Towels were replaced during daily cleaning, but it seemed like the sheets weren’t changed though that might be different for longer stays. There’s no fridge in the room, but you can ask the front desk to store things in their staff refrigerator if needed. Foreigners can stay here without any issues. During my 3-night stay, there was a different staff member at the front desk each day, but everyone was friendly and helpful. They actively assisted me when I had any issues, and I’m really grateful for that. Even if you don’t speak Chinese, using a translation app works fine. For basic things like check-in and check-out, you won’t need Chinese at all.

Booked more than half a month in advance, can only say that you have to spend more money on holidays. Overall it's pretty good, but some details can't be chased. The room card is 30, although I found it in the end and returned it. This is the first time I spent money on the room card. The cleaning lady asked for two more bottles of water and had to ask the front desk. Breakfast can only say that there are not many things. The room is pretty good, and it is still heated. Overall, everything is worth the price. The location is very good, and the back door leads directly to Xinghai Park. You can consider staying in the family room for three people multiple times, and it is generally good. It is convenient to go everywhere.

Facilities: Well maintained Hygiene: Very good hygiene, the aunt will ask about the time when cleaning. Environment: Very good location, very close to Xinghai Square, many choices of convenience stores, restaurants and coffee shops nearby. And it belongs to the Centennial Community, there are no cars in the community in the morning, and the children like to run around and bask in the sun. Service: Very good service, very parent-child friendly, as soon as they arrived, they gave the children a toiletries set, and also gave them snacks and fruits. The front desk service is very kind, helping to the best of their ability, thumbs up, it is really warm. I will stay in our hotel next time I come to Dalian, thank you very much for this pleasant stay experience.

This time I stayed in this hotel and was really amazed by its environment. The hotel is conveniently located around the hotel. As soon as you enter the lobby, the spacious and bright space and the simple and elegant decoration style make you feel happy. The room is warm and comfortable, and every detail is carefully designed. I came here for a personal trip and overall I am very satisfied with the breakfast. There are many types of breakfast and the service is attentive. The front desk is very enthusiastic and answers all questions. The cleaning aunt is meticulous and responsible. The location of the hotel is also very good. As advertised, the hotel is close to Xi'an Road. It takes about 5 to 8 minutes to walk from the subway station. The dual subway lines cover Zhoushuizi Airport and Dalian North Railway Station as well as major urban attractions, which is very convenient. Finally, if I have to make some suggestions, I think there are two points: first, the TV resolution is slightly behind in 2025, and second, there seems to be no soap in the bathroom, which caused me a little trouble.
