The staff are absolutely amazing and go out of their way to make your stay good and fix any problems you have if you give them the chance. They were very accommodating to us and our needs. The villa was lovely with the private pool and would have been so much more enjoyable had the weather been better. Private beach right beside your pool with own access. Kayaks etc for hire to use for very cheap. Free airport shuttle available which we used at the end and was great. The spa was wonderful and well priced. I highly recommend the hot stone massage, it was the best I have ever had and so relaxing. The lady was so kind and amazing. We were over charged for the mini bar at the end was the only disappointing thing. The prices on the slip in the room were 25,000 per drink and we charged 55,000 per drink. You are only given two small waters a day, so recommend bringing your own water or ordering from Grab app. We would stay here again in the future In warmer weather for sure.

Fantastic place. It will be better if its more fenced up. between the various bunglows as the doors are mostly glassed and people can access from the beach if they want to. Though its safe place , it give the look of not too safe due to multiple access points.

It is a single-family villa with a large room that can accommodate two families. It has a private swimming pool and a private beach. The second floor has a large living room and a kitchen (unfortunately, we don't use it). The hotel is quite remote and a little far from the city center. It is suitable for lying down. The breakfast is average and the facilities are a bit old, but the scenery is really good.

This hotel is actually a single-family villa with a swimming pool and a bathing pool. You need to solve your own transportation on Son Tra Peninsula. The villa's exclusive beach 🏖️ is very quiet except for the guests living there. The sand on the beach is very fine. The service staff is of good quality and is responsible for delivering the luggage to the guest rooms upstairs. The breakfast is very rich, and both Vietnamese and Western food are very good, after all, there are more European and American guests. I think the beach directly connected to the private pool is a really attractive point!! I especially took a lot of pictures and had a good time at the swimming pool. The facility looks old and there are a lot of bugs because it is in the forest. It's neatly organized. It is about 30-40 minutes away from downtown Da Nang. It's not difficult to go back and forth with Grab. It's a good idea to prepare enough food before going in. Only beverages such as water and cola are sold inside, and snacks are only sold in the restaurant. During the stay, excluding the check-out day, Free shuttle leaves the accommodation at 9:00 am and 10:00 am, It was around 3pm and they also run a shuttle back to the accommodation. The resort staff were very friendly and I felt comfortable. There was some inconvenience, but still I left behind unforgettable memories haha.

Small but very cozy resort in a picturesque bay. The houses are not new, but very clean, each of them has its own pool (which is cleaned every day) and a small gazebo. Own beach with sunbeds. Delicious and varied breakfasts. There were no problems with check-in and check-out. Definitely recommend!

Good location, the beach is really beautiful, room is too big and clean, comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious. Will be recommended to my friend. This resort need to be recommend to all visitors. I sure will comeback in next time

Disappointed when we arrived that our Beachfront villa pool was not private - in fact the villa we stayed in was located next to the restaurant and everyone could look directly into our pool, not to mention neighbouring villas and people on the walkway along the beach. Make no mistake this is not a ‘high class’ resort as the hotel website describes, it is dated and it is run on a budget. Some parts of our villa had the faintest smell of mould, the bath could not be used as the hot water would run out when filling it, some fixtures were broken eg the shower hand rail and some of the external doors hardware and even the toilet roll holder felt like we were using a public WC. Aside from kettle, microwave and fridge, the kitchen had nothing in it except for a teapot, 4 glasses, 4 cups and some teaspoons - not even a dish towel. Housekeeping was a let down in the kitchen, every day they would clean the glasses and cups and then leave them on the side of the sink to dry, the upstairs living area toilet and basin had nothing (hand towel/dryer) to dry your hands, I asked for an extra towel for this room going forward and they relocated one of the towels from the main bathroom, but did this on one day only. There is no drink and food beach service, you have to go to the restaurant to order and they ask you to wait while it’s prepared. The location is remote from Danang (return grab car approx AUD $20 to 25) and is scenic with the hotel having its own private picturesque beach with staff periodically removing any rubbish in the water. Buffet breakfast was average in quality but had good variety especially given how small the resort is. Staff were generally friendly but only reception were extremely responsive to requests. The massage at the spa was a letdown as it was in a closed room in one of the back villas and again there was nothing luxurious about it. On Friday evening we were informed of a wedding to be held the next night on the beach. This was very loud, but thankfully this only went on for approx 5 hours. Obviously it would have been nice to have been told this earlier during booking or at the beginning of our stay so that we could have left a day earlier. This could be a great resort but my experience of it fell well short of expectations, however we still enjoyed it. I do not recommend it if you are seeking privacy in your pool villa.

What to say about Son Tra Resort and Spa, the only thing i can think of is well below my expectations and hopes. The potential is there but it seems the management is completely focused on one thing and that is money. In my mind a resort is a place where you can stay without having to leave the premises and enjoy good food and entertainment. Needless to say Son tra lacked in both aspects. Firstly i stayed there 5night and it rained for 3days, there was nothing done to keep the guests entertained. The bar and restaurant were completely empty in the evening and it seemed to me like 95% of the guests just stayed in there bungalows and ordered in. No ambition to entertain the guests. I was super bored as a solo traveler. The breakfast was decent but in the lunch and evening it lacked complete quality and ambitions. The club sandwich was constructed of white plane bread, not even toasted. The pizza was so tiny it could fit in the palm of my hand. The chicken I order was dry and some of the veggies that came with it were completely undercooked and hard to chew. The beach was beautiful and has allot of potential but to order a drink at the sun benches you would have to walk to the bar to place the order and then when the drank came you realised that there were no side tables to put the drinks down, and when you asked for a table they would just say sorry if. I would have to improvise and get a chair from the bar area and place it next to my lounge bench. The room was super dated and had stickers on 50% of the furniture, making it feel like I was in an IKEA cubicle. The staff were friendly and therefore I didn't have the heart to give a lower score. The management seriously has to step up or find someone with more ambitious to take over. They also had advertised a free daily shuttle to Da nang but when i got there they told me that it was at the mechanic and it was during my whole stay. They offered to order me a taxi which I would then have to pay for. Why wouldn't the hotel just rent a mini van for a couple of day while the car was at the mechanic instead of putting the burden on the guests. Again bad management. Also during my stay on the second last day a group of Backroads traveler came to stay. During lunch time they decided with the hotel I'm assuming that it would be ideal to have a t-shirt sale in the middle of the dinner area and every body in the backroads group where taking of there shirts and trying on diffeent sizes.
