Best Edingen-Neckarhausen Hotels

The best hotel in town at a bargain price! The owner was incredibly nice to me when I twisted my ankle. He carried my luggage upstairs, got me ice packs, and even drove me to the doctor. The cheaper room on the very top floor with angled ceilings and triangle window is adorable! The breakfast buffet was a feast! It's centrally located. I can't recommend it enough.

We are so disappointed. Don't be fooled by the offer and facilities you see online. We found the place soulless, which is such a shame, because it has hugh potential. I specifically chose this hotel because there were onsite facilities including a restaurant and bar. Neither were open on the day we checked in, apparently due to staff sickness!! So, I am expected to believe that only one person is tasked with running the kitchen, restaurant and bar! Umm! I am slightly cynical, to be honest. After a long drive we were looking forward to dinner and drinks. Our room was fine- very clean and comfortable ....but we could have had the same quality room for far less elsewhere. Breakfast was fine but again, I wouldn't pay for that again. The breakfast room was so deathly quiet, we wanted to eat breakfast and get out of there. No atmosphere. When you arrive at this hotel, you walk through a cloud of smoke, as the smoking area is directly infront of the front doors. What a welcome. I paid for the additional facilities but my meal that night was a bread roll from Lidl, up the road. I have waited almost two weeks for Leonardo to respond to my direct complaint via their chat service and I've heard nothing - I did give them the chance to address my complaint directly. More

Strakke, moderne kamer, goed en groot bed, mooie en nette badkamer met zeepdispensor en haardroger. In tegenstelling tot wat foto laat vermoeden ligt het in een vrij drukbereden straat. Prima parkeergelegenheid voor en onder het gebouw. Om de hoek kun je de tram nemen naar Heidelberg. Ontbijt is duur en gewoontjes. Decakoffie is enkel beschikbaar als oploskoffie. De accommodatie is oké, maar de sfeer is eerder onpersoonlijk.

Excellent location in a residential area, ideal for us visiting our granddaughter who is studying in Heidelberg. The Staff, service, friendliness and cleanliness was very good, as was the airconditioned room. Buffet breakfast, not included in room rate, had a good choice of food and a relatively modest price restaurant menu as well. Public transport, Tram, is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. However, the journey to the centre takes 10/15 minutes so not ideal for business travellers without a car. I can't comment on English being spoken as was mentioned in some reviews, as we didn't need to use it. Hotel only has payable private parking 🅿 but street parking outside the hotel is fine , our car was parked in the same place for 4 days, no problem. No hesitation in staying here again on our next visit to Heidelberg. There are NO Covid or sanitary restrictions at the hotel at this time.

The rooms are ordened and spacious. Unfortunately, the parking facilities in the Innenhof are somewhat limited. At foot there are some nice locals in Handschuhsheim. But to the city centre of Heidelberg you can drive with the tram. Air conditioning in the rooms is missing, which would have been surely pleasant about the journey time. Breakfast is abundant. The staff was very friendly.

Maintenance is underway near the railway station. In the past, the hotel had to cross a small bridge; The room is more spacious. Compared with the hotels in Frankfurt, the heating in the room is sufficient. The front desk of the hotel has bread and coffee every day, which can be taken for free. The croissants are delicious; The hotel breakfast is 10EUR/person, which is not suitable for the Chinese stomach and the variety is barren; there is a dining cart on the road in front of the hotel, and the roasted chicken legs are not bad, 2 euros apiece. Overall recommendation.

Big room, very clean. They cleaned the room every day and replaced the towels. About a 10-15 minute car ride to the centre of town, around €18 one way by taxi. Around the corner is a supermarket and a bakkery. The latter is also opened on Sunday, on time for breakfast. A little tip though: the adress is actually Im Entenlach 33 (Kranichweg is the adress of the hotel, not the appartments). Our navigation didnt work well but Google maps came to our rescue
