Best Forest Hill Hotels

Really good for the money. I usually stay in budget places because I'm trying to save money. This is really nice compared to some of the other places I've stayed for the same money. It is a little tired, but the bathroom was recently renovated and it was clean and nice furnishings etc. My tariff included breakfast which was a buffet of cereal, toast and a few cooked things (bacon, mushrooms, sausages, eggs etc). My only negative that it is on the corner of two busy roads so there is always traffic noise. It is close to a small shopping centre, and I had dinner at a nice persian restaurant across the road so those are all positives. There was parking when I arrived but it was quite full the next morning so I'm not sure whether it would ever be difficult to park.

Great apartment, helpful and friendly staff, everything you could need for your stay. Having full laundry facilities is a real bonus in the apartment, spacious too, as well as pet friendly. Highly recommended.

Clean, cosy budget room. There's a pub onsite so it's convenient for meals. 2 min walk to bus stop and 10 min bus ride to nearby Glen Waverley hub with a massive shopping mall, train station, numerous eateries.

There is parking lot, okay

There is a tram 75 to the Melbourne CBD near the hotel. The train station is far from the hotel and it takes 30 minutes to walk. There is a large supermarket near the hotel and shopping is very convenient. There is a parking lot. No breakfast, good health, very quiet, good service.

Stairs! My room had stairs to the bedroom area! GREAT. Loved it. Apparently Aussies don’t like stairs! Lazy bu**ers!;) Being English, I loved them. Thanks for a VERY comfy stay. Came with a jacuzzi to boot. You’ll need a car though.

I stayed in Box Hill motel between 3rd of Nov'23 - 5th of Nov'23. My husband and I arrived at Box Hill motel around 12-1pm. We were so exhausted as we took turn driving from Sydney - Melbourne. We drove from Sydney past midnight. Upon calling if we would be let in early, surprisingly it is allowed. Otherwise we would have slept in the car until check-in time if the room isn't ready yet. We got room no.1 and it was very clean. I didn't use the towel as I prefer to use my own towel, my husband also use his own towel. One of the hanging towel though had a snot on it and I put that towel aside despite we didn't use it. There were 3x plates in total and one of the plate was dirty and I assumed previous guest must have used this 1 plate and didn't wash it but instead just slipped it in between the clean plate. We used 2x plates for ourselves but I washed the 3x plates myself. Great Wifi speed too as I was able to complete a little bit of work from Room no.1. My parents always taught me to appreciate and respect people's places. Upon checking out, I saw Carol and OMG, she is so kind, friendly, down to earth and helpful. She was busy rolling people's luggage to their room. I remember my father always taught me the great businessman is not the one who always wanted to be served but the one who knew how to serve others first. There's a saying about ”servant leadership”. A great leader know how it feels to be at the bottom to observe, learn and serving others as well as better appreciate the top and experience various roles to understand the duties and responsibilities of each roles. THANK YOU Box hill motel team and Carol too for allowing us to stay at your beautiful clean and tidy place. We were able to sleep very soundly, hope nobody can hear us snoring :) I highly recommend Box Hill motel, Melbourne to anyone on a trip to Melbourne.

SKY ONE Hotel is my first choice every time I come to Melbourne. This hotel has a great location, and more importantly, it is well managed and has good service quality. The hotel environment is elegant and the rooms are clean and tidy. The front desk waiter is smiling and polite, and will answer any questions. The three beauties, Queenie, Nicole and Shirley, left a good impression on everyone. Once I saw someone with bad behavior breaking into the hotel without permission, Nicole, who was on duty, politely stepped forward to dissuade him, gently and firmly said no, until the intruder was blocked outside the door. Maintaining the healthy image of the hotel and protecting the safety of guests in and out is worthy of praise👍 At the same time, a special praise is given to Ms. Zhang Zhuo who is responsible for professional cleaning of the hotel apartment rooms. We have stayed in your hotel many times in recent years. Every time we stay, we will see that the room is clean, the sheets are white, and the beds are neatly made; the bathroom is bright and shiny, and towels and other supplies are placed in order; the kitchen stove and sink in the apartment are clean and dust-free, and the pots, pans, cups, plates, cutlery, knives, forks and spoons in the kitchen cabinets are all clean and dry, each in its place + everything is available, and the furnishings are very professional, giving guests a home-like feeling. After check-in, the hotel arranges mid-term cleaning every week. When Zhang Zhuo cleans mid-term, she always communicates with us in a friendly manner, is polite and thoughtful, and is very considerate. At the same time, she is very efficient at work and works very seriously. For example, when vacuuming, she pays great attention to vacuuming every corner, and does not let go of the small sand and stones on the balcony, and the fine dust on the window frame or door will not escape her eyes. Meticulous and striving for perfection, her professional attitude at work is admirable. My husband and I have stayed in your hotel many times. The longest time we stayed was four months. During this period, we spent Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day and Chinese New Year. The room was always clean and tidy, which was refreshing. Living in this hotel apartment really feels the level of a star hotel. From the end of last year to the beginning of this year, we stayed in the hotel for more than four months. Every morning, we saw her busy figure in the corridor. She often did not get off work until late at night, or worked overtime. After some guests checked in, they always bothered her whenever they encountered various troubles, no matter big or small, or replenished pots and pans, or replenished detergents, or forgot to bring the room key 🔑 out of the door, etc. You can often see her smiling and responding, willing to help, and helping guests solve difficulties. Once a water pipe on a certain floor suddenly burst, causing water leakage on the site, resulting in different degrees of impact on multiple apartments. Zhang Zhuo appeared on the scene as soon as possible, patiently explained and carefully comforted the guests, and quickly reported to General Manager Sam, who rushed to the scene in time to deal with it. It plays an important role in crisis public relations. Another time, there was a sudden power outage in the corridor of the floor where we lived. In the darkness, she took the lead again, reminding everyone to walk safely to avoid tripping and getting injured. These were her extra work, but she was always seen working hard and tirelessly. Zhang Zhuo treated the hotel apartment as her home, and her enthusiastic service spirit was touching. At the same time, the management level and service quality of the hotel apartment were comprehensively added points in the minds of guests, which deserves special praise. Once again, I sincerely thank SKY ONE Hotel Apartment, thank the boss for good management, and thank the employees for excellent service. If we come to Melbourne again, SKY ONE will still be our first choice.

This hotel must be highly recommended, the room is super big! ! The toilet alone is probably the size of a room in the city. The room is big enough to have a party. There are pots and pans in the room that you can use to fire up at home. There is also a washing machine that comes with laundry detergent, which is super considerate. Unfortunately, there is no gym and it is not far from Box Hill. It’s only about a 3-minute walk and is worth the experience (unfortunately, there is no gym)

Because this was the only hotel within walking distance from my friend's house, we stayed for a total of 4 nights and booked a 2+1+1 deal. Before checking in on the first day, the room fee and a deposit of 100 Australian dollars were charged to my credit card. On the fourth day, I went to the front desk to renew the room card (I couldn't open the door without renewing it). The front desk already knew that this was a prepaid order and asked if the payment would be deducted from the original credit card (I changed the name of the booker on the fourth night but didn't change the room and noted ”extend stay” in the order). I thought that after the prepaid order, the hotel might have to charge a deposit again because the name of the booker had changed, so I replied ”yes”. As a result, not long after, the front desk deducted 157 Australian dollars from the credit card again. I returned to the hotel in the evening and called the front desk. The front desk said it might be the deposit and asked me to talk to the manager tomorrow. I checked out very early the next day and the front desk was not at work. I negotiated with the hotel through text messages. The hotel said that I booked the room twice, once at the front desk and then again on Ctrip two hours later. They were so shameless. I booked the room on Ctrip one night in advance, but I didn't go to the front desk to renew the room card until after 9 o'clock the next day. After the communication failed, I had to contact Ctrip. If the negotiation with Ctrip failed, I would post a complaint on the hotel's official website. After repeated communication with Ctrip, the hotel agreed to refund the money, saying it was a ”communication misunderstanding”. I suggest that compatriots should check their credit card information more often when they go out, and safeguard their legal rights and interests in a timely and resolute manner, so that the chickens and dogs of T can't hide.
