Suriwong Chumphon Hotel Reviews

Booked double room with fan which was in 5rh floor. Clean towel and the room was ok compared to the price but the bathroom. I think the bathroom was renovated before so it has wrong design. The shower area is so narrow with next to washtafel. It has 24 hours front office, good location as i arrived almost midnight using train. They have storage room behind the front desk.

The room at ground level is cool and humid. Unless well wrapped or cleaned, all food should not be brought into the room as it will attract ants. Room is simple with only soap, two bottles of water and toilet paper provided. Both bed and toilet are clean. WiFi not bad. There's noise of human and dog coming from outside after midnight. No deposit required and very near train station.

The place is quite close to the train station, shops, Mall, night market....and very clean, too. Would highly recommend to stay in this hotel.

If you like Soviet Style hotels this is the place to go! 80’s Concrete everywhere and just one advice, maybe don’t choose the “fan” room. Otherwise all ok for a night. ;)

The hotel is in walking distance of the railway station and the van station to Ranong. I had a quite room. The aircon worked well. The receptionists were friendly, however should try to learn more English.

Great location, friendly and helpful stuff, clean and comfortable rooms, close to railway station, shopping mall, restaurants. Great value for money.

As mentioned previously, the corridors in the hotel do look like prison cells. That said, when you enter the room, you are pleasantly surprised. The rooms have everything you require minus coffee making facilities. Very good location with the train station and shopping mall within easy walking distance. Very good local bar named De Rust with good food, music and reasonable priced beer also within walking distance. The bar is opposite the railway line and visible from the train when entering Chumphon from a southerly direction.

Helpful suggestions to explore eatery and attractions. A good place to sleep.

It’s an oldie but I liked that about it . Retro but comfortable. The corridor does look like a fancy prison which I found funny . I’d surely stay there again

Helpful staff when asked to find bus in town. Big old rooms but renovated and in very good shape

It is a hotel on the way to the south. The parking lot on the side of the hotel is small. You can park on the opposite side of the parking lot. The hotel is near the market, in the middle of Chumphon city, near the mall, near the cinema, you can walk. There are many food markets. It sells in the evening. There is a service for Grab Lineman, KFC, MK, Starbucks. The price is reasonable. The room has 1/2 beds and 4 beds. The elevator is very small. If 5 people enter, it will be crowded. If 3 people have luggage, it will be crowded. You can walk on the middle stairs.

Good hotel for transit, everything is close by.

Well, the hotel looks like an old hospital with wide corridors, very comfortable and quiet, I think depending on the location of the room.
