The hotel is ideally located between Raffles City Chongqing and Hongya Cave, yet it sits along a quieter side lane, not directly on the main road. I really appreciated this—after a long day out, the last thing I wanted was to fight through crowds just to get back to my room. That said, once you step out and walk less than 30 seconds to the main street, you’re right back in the heart of the action. There's also a metro station nearby, making it super convenient to get around. **Food** Right outside the building, there’s a line of food stalls and small shops that run from breakfast through late-night supper. (Pro tip: they open early, so breakfast is sorted. And for late-night skewers, I recommend the left-most stall when you're exiting the building—it was my favorite.) The whole stretch is worth exploring, and if you're feeling lazy, food delivery apps can send your order straight to your room. **Service** The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. On my second-last day, I asked for something to weigh my luggage and they provided a small, lightweight scale I could bring up to my room—really thoughtful. Upon check-in, I scanned their WeChat QR code to stay connected (a standard practice in China). They’ve set up auto-replies with all the info you’d need: where the laundry room is, local food recommendations (with addresses), and suggested itineraries with transport directions. Very helpful! And don't worry—WeChat has a built-in translation feature, so everything can be viewed in English. **Room** I was upgraded to a room on the 23rd floor. From walking past other rooms during housekeeping, I suspect mine was actually one of the smaller ones—yet it was still very spacious. (My 27” luggage fit easily with room to spare, if that helps for scale.) The water temperature in the shower stayed constant, which is always a big plus. Also worth mentioning: while the street outside looks pretty standard for Chongqing, once you enter the lobby and walk the corridors, it feels like a different world—modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. A nice contrast I really enjoyed. **Other Tips** When booking a Didi (ride-hailing app), sometimes the default pickup point is set to the main road. Just double-check the map in the app and adjust accordingly—again, it’s really just a 30-second walk. All in all, I’d absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in Chongqing—and I’m pretty sure I will be!

This was the second time i came to stay at this hotel, and i can say with confidence that this is an excellent place to stay in the heart of Chongqing. The location is perfect and central to all attractions and also easily acceable to metro stations nearby. The food courts are within a 2 minute walk from the front door, and there is food available 24 hrs in the area. My highest praise goes to the wonderful staff who were always attentive to our needs and assisted with any questions we had about the city, transport, and general directions. All the staff were really great, especially Xiao Lian and Xiao Zhao at the reception who were very kind and helpful. Thankyou ! We stayed in two different types of rooms, both times the rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable. amazing value for money considering the location and quality, in the center of the city!

We have booked 3 rooms for 5 pax, my sisters (couple) & parent choose the standard queen room, and i get tatami room for myself. The location is super, just opposite to Raffle, and most of the sceneary and restaurants are just walking distance. The best thing to highlight is the Service and hospitality. We feel so welcomed and homey.

Hotel gave us free upgrade to a bigger room. The room was amazing and clean. There is also in-room movie available. Free snacks + high tea too. Customer service was excellent too. The staff was very friendly and polite, assisting us in everything we need. What exceed our expectation was that they gave us back the same room after our short trip away to nearby city. It really feels like we are back home. Would greatly recommend this hotel and we will come back again during our next visit too.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Chongqing. The service was excellent, and the staff—especially the friendly gentleman and lady who assisted us with the laundry—were warm and helpful throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the unlimited supply of quality mineral water, which was greatly appreciated after long days exploring the city. The hotel is conveniently located in the same building as the Westin, making it easy to find. It’s within walking distance to major tourist attractions like the People’s Liberation Monument and Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, which made sightseeing very convenient. The hotel also provided access to a washing machine and dryer, which was a big plus during our trip. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chongqing.

Friendly staff, we stayed at 66th floor, the view was amazing, walking distance to 解放碑 and 好吃街。lifts were assigned to different levels so we didn't need to wait for long to go up and down. Forgot to take a photo of the night lights, I surely enjoyed my morning coffee sitting by the window.

First time in Chongqing and the first impression of this hotel was very positive helpful staff during check-in(sadly I forgot to ask her name!). And explained every little detail and also suggestion on where to visit in Chongqing. The room environment is perfect and the view from the room is really amazing as it's located in 45/F. The traffic is very convenient and we could even walk to some touristic area, eg, Hongyadong etc. The metro station is just downstairs the hotel. A lot of different restaurants, coffee shops, and street food shops. Only maybe one is the look of the carpet, just looked a bit old, otherwise no point to critics.

Love the location, the service and the cleanliness of the room. Stayed for 5 days and I slept very well every nite.. no doubt not a 5 star hotel, the location, service and the cleanliness surpasses the 5 star hotel.. will highly recommend to others who wants to stay near Jiefang Bei.

The hotel is in a great location, right outside the Chongqing landmark Raffles Square. The hotel decoration is very avant-garde. The butler service is really thoughtful. The bedding was very comfortable. The intelligence of the room is reasonable. good

The hotel is not far from Hongyadong and Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. It is also convenient to eat around. There is Metro Line 2 nearby. We drove there by ourselves. The hotel sign was not very clear. We drove around twice before we saw it. There is a public underground parking lot. As long as it is not a private parking space, you can park. When you leave the next day, you scan the code and pay 20 yuan. The hotel is actually a renovated apartment. There are several hotels in one building. The floors are relatively high and you can see the Jialing River. The sanitation is OK. There is a washing machine, but the funny thing is that there is no hanger and no place to hang clothes, so the washing machine is just a decoration
