We stayed for 4night, room was clean. Location is good near by have many foods and shops. The hotel also provides breakfast at the noodle shop in the hotel. Hotel customer services #1 and #7 were very helpful. They also give us a small gift when we check out. Will come to stay again.

The hotel location is good. Receptionist is kind to assist and accommodate our request for stay extension till 6pm, with reasonable charge. The hotel also comes with free ala carte breakfast which located in lobby. The tea house in garden area also recommended. Also enjoy the free self laundry service located in 5th floor. The only improvement is the hotel lift, only single lift for 14 floors guests and expected to wait a bit longer. Lastly we received a complimentary biscuit during checkout 😄

Excellent Stay at Walling Hotel with Great Views & Service Room Experience Stayed 4 nights across two rooms: Rooms 604 & 605 (6th Floor)- Newly renovated* with a chic design. Loved the separate dressing partition – super practical! Included a quality tea set and coffee drip facilities, perfect for relaxing with a hot drink while enjoying the city views facing the Art Gallery. My top choice! - Room 1601 (Panorama Room): Breathtaking bridge and city views , especially at night. However, it lacked the tea set and coffee drip (missed these!). Preference: The 6th-floor rooms win for their modern amenities, practicality, and proximity to the laundry room (on Level 5). Amenities & Perks - Breakfast:Daily Chongqing noodles – absolutely delicious and a hearty start to the day. - Afternoon Tea: A lovely touch! Relaxing with snacks after sightseeing was a treat. - Complimentary Extras: - Mei Hui Guo -souvenir packet in every room (a sweet gesture!). - Complimentary ice cream in the lobby – refreshing and appreciated! Location Unbeatable! Easy walking distance to Hongyadong and Jiabeifai– exploring was effortless. Staff & Service Exceptional hospitality! - Staff members #4 and #7 went above and beyond – attentive, friendly, and truly helpful. - The manager (a gentleman) was also proactive, though I regrettably didn’t catch his name. The entire team radiates warmth. Final Thoughts The Walling Hotel delivers fantastic value: great rooms (opt for renovated 6th floor!), prime location, tasty food, and standout service. The thoughtful extras (souvenirs, ice cream) made the stay extra special. Highly recommended for travelers wanting comfort, convenience, and authentic Chongqing charm. Will definitely return!

Overall ok. Good location near tourism area & metro stations. Time friendly breakfast service. Hotel staff is contactable through wechat & free power bank borrowing service. Received a small gift during checkout :)

A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Service & Views ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, neat, and very comfortable, offering everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Communication was incredibly convenient with a tour guide booklet and a hotel introduction in our local language—a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly welcomed. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. 🍳 Breakfast was a highlight—plenty of delicious options to choose from, and we also received a welcome drink voucher for the hotel’s charming tea shop. On the day we checked out, the hotel even offered us a small snack as a parting gift, which was a lovely surprise. 🌇 The location is unbeatable! The rooftop view is spectacular, with several iconic landmarks visible, and most major attractions are just a 5-minute walk away. Perfect for exploring the city with ease. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

The hotel is at a very strategic location which nearby a lot of attractions and the room is very spacious and clean. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They provide us mineral water whenever we request. There are free ice cream provided at the hotel lobby. On the last day of our stay due to we need to rush for early train, we unable to have the breakfast at their restaurant, the staff actually prepared us bread and milk to take away so we won't be starving in the train. Need to give thumbs up for staff with 工號 no.1 and no.7 who went extra miles to help us. Our TaoBao parcels were unable to reach on time when we checking out the hotel, both of them help us to track and arrange for delivery service to send to our next hotel. Would definitely stay here again next time if we come back to ChongQing!

We stayed at the Walling Hotel for 5 nights and were very satisfied. The hotel is located right in the center. The reception staff were very nice and willing to help at any time. We are foreigners who do not speak Chinese, but we communicated very well through WeChat. Upon arrival, a cooled room was waiting for us, as it was hot that day. We also had a plate of fruit ready. From the first impression, we felt comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. I also appreciate the work of the maid who cleaned our room every day. I am also very grateful for the help with the laundry. I also want to mention the delicious breakfast in the stylish noodle restaurant. I recommend this hotel to everyone. If I return to Chongqing, we will definitely stay here again.

Had a great experience at Walling Hotel. Staff were exceptionally friendly, especially Employee No 1 &4 who assisted us with our check out. Breakfast/ Lunch selection was delicious. Hotel also assisted us to plan our day trip to Wulong Karst which was seamless. Only downside is the renovation occurring next to the hotel which makes the lobby smell strongly of paint. However, staff were very apologetic about this.

Really enjoyed our stay here! The location is super convenient—just a short walk to 解放碑 and 洪崖洞, and there are tons of milk tea shops around (I think I had one every day 😂). The room was great! We booked one for four people, and it was spacious, clean, and very comfy. They even provided little sleep kits with earplugs and eye masks, which was a nice touch and helped us sleep better. One thing we didn’t expect—they actually offer free high tea! Sadly, we didn’t have time to try it, but it was nice to know it was available. Also, we ordered some stuff from 淘宝 and had it sent to the hotel ahead of time. The staff helped collect and keep it safe for us until we checked in. Super helpful! And I have to mention the free breakfast—soooo delicious! The best part? You can still enjoy it even after 10am, which is perfect if you like to sleep in. (红油抄手 超级好吃） Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Chongqing. Would definitely come back! (Attached the view from room)

The hotel is in a great location—right between Hongyadong and Jiefangbei, both within walking distance. However, it's not the most pedestrian-friendly spot if you're taking the airport bus, as the pavement outside is made of old, uneven tiles, which makes rolling luggage a bit difficult. The room itself was just okay. It wasn’t very clean—there was a bit of a musty smell, and the bedsheets and pillows had an odd odor. While it wasn’t terrible, it didn’t feel very fresh either. That said, for the price, it’s a decent option if you prioritize location and don’t mind some minor compromises on cleanliness. Btw, we could see the drone show from our room window which is the best!

There is only one lift available, so quite inconvenient for guests. The hotel looks outdated, but understand that it is undergoing some renovations. Breakfast choices are quite limited. Location is good to access to tourists attractions. Staff are friendly & helpful too especially a lady staff (#1). Thanks hotel for the free snacks.

Friendly staff (No4, who is a cute girl with spec), assist with us to check in early. Pleasant experience, good location, is convenient to everyway, close to the train station, and breakfast is 👍🏻
