During my 10-day stay this cozy place was my home away from home; it was a pleasure to return to the beautiful stone walled room every evening, spend some time in the charming garden and listen to the scops owl and the crickets ... if I could come back to Chios I would want to stay here again without a doubt! For getting around I highly recommend CRC, they also bring the rented vehicle to the hotel and are very friendly and reliable! Thank you all very much!

My mother & I stayed at Voulamandis House for a week in mid May & we loved it. The owners Stratos & Angeliki and Strotos’s father Mike were so kind, helpful and welcoming. We had two lovely spacious rooms, with sofas & exposed stone walls, on the ground floor. We enjoyed Angeliki’s delicious breakfasts every morning in the beautiful garden. The guesthouse is set in a walled citrus grove in the atmospheric and very peaceful Kambos area. There are lots of different seating areas, and relaxing in the grounds was one of our favourite parts of the holiday. We found a car very useful for exploring the island (although there is a bus which goes past the hotel). It is a little nerve-wracking driving around the hotel as the Kambos area is characterised by high walls and narrow lanes with sharp bends. I was worried (as an anxious British driver who has never driven on the right hand side before!). But I decided to ignore google maps and instead went everywhere via the route towards Chios town recommended by Stratos, no matter where I was heading! At times I drove further than necessary but it meant I avoided the very narrow lanes that Google maps was trying to take me down. Once on the main roads driving is fine, roads are good and not busy and other drivers seem patient! Walking in the Kambos is wonderful; so pretty and peaceful. We walked to Thymiana which is a small inland town with a nice taverna and a bakery (about 15 min walk). We also walked over the hills to Karfas beach which has a couple of tavernas and a beach - this was a fairly steep walk taking about 30 minutes. The nicest local place we walked to was the Citrus museum (Perivoli) which is a small museum with another beautiful garden with a cafe serving light meals (and delicious cocktails) all day until about 9pm. This was also about 15 min walk. Further afield by car we visited the fantastic Chios Mastic museum (incredible views), Pyrgi, Mesta & Chios town. We found Chios an interesting island with a unique & fascinating history. Voulamandis House was the best part of our visit - excellent value & highly recommended!

We spent seven memorable days at Voulamadis House in early May 2024. The landscape of the Kambos settlement makes you love the island the closer you get to the house. The well-kept orange grove and the colourful garden are relaxing and create a wonderful setting for a hearty and delicious breakfast and enjoyment at all hours of the day. Our first-floor accommodation is spacious, very clean and pleasant, and the Wi-Fi is accessible inside and in the garden. Above all, however, we were charmed by the genuine kindness, good mood, willingness and hospitality of the young owners, Stratos and Angeliki (and Stratos' father, who is very often there). All of them are always willing to help and offer accurate information. A pleasant surprise was Stratos' thoughtful podcasts, accessible with QS, which inform about the estate's traditional watering facilities and the history of Kampos. Excellent food at Thymiana, 2 km away. There is easy access by car to the Chios town and to all other areas of the island. We enthusiastically recommend the place. Stelios

Cozy and authentic! Great location to experience Kambos and explore Chios island, in all seasons. We extended our winter stay twice to fully enjoy the surrounding beautiful green and orange orchards, the impressive architecture, and learn more about the rich history and culture of the area.

We have booked two family apartments with our friends. The rooms were very comfortable for 4 people. Stratos and Angeliki, and of course their kind father were very interested to us. Before the accomodation they informed us in detail about all the subjects that would be necessary for us. Stratos was always in touch by whatsapp and answered all our questions about our daily needs. Not only about the hotel, but also about the places, restaurants in Chios. The place is very quite. Breakfast was the best I have ever had in my trips. Thank you all!

Voulamandis house is an excellent accommodation in all aspects. Rooms are quite spacious, very tastefully decorated, super clean and they offer all basics for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic in Kampos chios inside a big tangerine field very quite and relating and close to chios town (10 min drive). Service is absolutely superb, eveyone is very polite and helpful as well as very organised. Prior to our arrival we received a full gude for chios including excellent recommendations for beaches excursions, taverns and outing proposals. Highly recommended if you are looking for authentic hospitality that will turn your holiday from good to great.

The best hotel in Chios island.. It is oasis...The Hotel building is from year 1700, located in a big lemon and mandarine garden . Angeliki will do everything for your holiday organization in Chios, before your vacation, She will send you descriptions videos on how to reach the hotel, things to do in Chios. When you arrive you will eat oranges from trees, relax in your chair under the lemon trees. Rooms are large, super clean, well equipped. Kitchen has everything you need. Angeliki prepares a rich breakfast menu for you. You will detach from life and live in Anchient Greek Lemon garden during your stay and live a dream Thank you Angeliki for your great hospitality

We stayed for 8 nights and everything was perfect. The hosts were very helpful and accommodated all our needs to the maximum. The location is exceptional, very traditional, very beautiful! The room was clean and we had great breakfast with local products. We enjoyed a lot our stay and we look forward to go back again! Anthi & Pietro

Accommodation that respects nature, the tradition of the place, the visitors. The stone, the smell of jasmine, the hum of insects combined with the coolness, the cleanliness, the rich breakfast, the smile of Angeliki, Stratos and the kindness of the grandfather of the family, then it is the best choice. We leave rested, soothed with the promise that we will surely reciprocate ... again.
