I pre-paid 100% on Trip.com after booking this hotel. Upon arrival, hotel demanded me to pay additional $180 called "Chicago city resort fee". I talked to other guests in the hotel and none of them was charged for this fee. I'm also originally from Chicago and never heard about such fee before. Everyone works at the front desk was SO MEAN. They all looked like gang members, kind of scary. The service guy who came to my room to fix the light had just smoked ****, and my entire room smelled like **** after he left. After checking into the room, it is SO SMALL, my suitcase barely fit in there. The room looked nothing like the picture. The bed is surrounded by 3 walls, I'm only 5'5 and I can barerly straight my legs laying down. Also, it is the dirtiest room I had ever stayed, and I have stayed in LOTS of hotels because I do travel for a living. Their laundry rooms and work out room are downstairs in the basement and so tiny without any window. I originally paid for 10 nights and checked out only 2 days. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. I would have rated zero if there's that option.

Nice and convenience place for solo traveler

Be aware there's a USD16 resort fee. The staff at the counter is not very friendly but the room is ok. For shared room, there's curtain and outlet at each bed.

Good location! Very convenient to start the tour in the city. The curtains at the bed for privacy can be bigger. Safety wise, just try not to roam around after dark.

Pretty good spot if you’re there for a short bit. Just know your roommates are at the hostel’s discretion if you’re in a group of 3 or less in a quad room.

Great value, super central location, great roommates met. A good stay. But remember to bring a lock, and the locker is not big, can not fit in the suitcase. Finally, the night view outside the window is very bustling

A single room has a relatively small space and a general environment. It is suitable for one person to travel and live for a short period of time, and is suitable for people with low living conditions, such as students. There is a lot of traffic at the door, so you need to pay attention to traffic safety when going out. There are supermarkets, shopping malls, subway stations, etc. nearby, and the living facilities are convenient, but the sanitary conditions are average.
