Hotels in South Railway Station/Tianfu Cade mall, Chengdu

The front desk staff, Xiao Lin, was excellent. The hotel's environment is great, and the room is large and clean. The surrounding shops offer good value for money, which is a plus. What's even better is that the hotel is very close to the South Railway Station; it's just a few minutes' walk away, so there's no need for a taxi. I could just walk there myself.

This is by far the best hotel of its kind I've stayed in this year! The service was absolutely fantastic; they proactively helped me resolve issues and asked for my feedback, which was incredibly thoughtful. Plus, the room was spacious, beautiful, and felt brand new! The laundry service was also superb. I was out, and when I got back, my clothes had been washed, likely ironed, and neatly folded, then delivered to my room! This will definitely be my first choice when I come to Chengdu in the future!

The TV, movies, and all entertainment must use WeChat to scan and pay. I do not have WeChat, so there is no entertainment after going back to the hotel. The hotel should share which train station to stop at and transit from. I thought the hotel is located at the main railway station.... The young male lobby counter staff was friendly compared to the young female staff. The luggage storing service is free. However, there is no washroom provided after checkout. I walked from the subway about 20 minutes to collect my luggage and was told no washroom provided

Due to a last-minute flight change, I had to stay overnight in Chengdu. After looking around, this hotel was the best choice. It's right next to Chengdu South Railway Station, and literally across the street from Metro Line 18's exit, which is incredibly convenient. Getting to and from the airport was a breeze, and it's not far to get into the city center either. Although the hotel isn't brand new, it's very clean and well-stocked with all the necessary amenities. It really is an excellent choice.

The room facilities are decent, and there's a RT-Mart supermarket right across from the hotel. A few more shopping malls are located to the east. The South Railway Station metro stop is only a few hundred meters away, making both transportation and shopping very convenient. The breakfast, however, was just average.

The service attitude of the front desk staff at No. 6 was very good. As soon as I entered the door, they were very enthusiastic and professional. They answered my questions patiently. I booked an 'internal window' room, which was a very strange experience. While the front desk did mention it when I checked in, I didn't quite grasp what that meant at the time. After checking in, I was truly shocked – an 'internal window' essentially means no window at all! I have no idea why they designed it with this bizarre, sci-fi-movie-observatory-like 'lightwell' in the middle. Sometimes I felt like I was starring in an episode of Black Mirror. Adding to the strangeness, the secret door to this room's lightwell is located in the hallway. I personally checked, and you can open it just by pressing it, no key needed. So, if you stay here, remember to keep your 'window' (whether it's there or not, it makes no difference) securely closed at night, otherwise, it feels incredibly unsafe. You really don't want to be tossing and turning, imagining someone walking through a hidden hallway door into the lightwell and peering at you while you sleep, right? The room itself was clean, but because there was no actual window, it inevitably had that stuffy, damp smell that comes from a long-sealed space. Overall, the design of this room is just inexplicable. For those who are sensitive to such things, please be sure to avoid what they call an 'internal window room'.

Booked a family room and it worth every penny.The room comes with 1 king size bed, 1 single bed,a big bath tub and kid amenities such as toothbrush,slippers and even toilet seat for kid.My daughter enjoyed it so much.Definitely will come back again if I had a chance to visit Chengdu again.

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, though an extra trash can would be a nice touch. The room type I stayed in had very smart amenities. Service: The service was impeccable. During my five-day stay, every staff member I encountered was incredibly patient. They'd always stand up and greet me when I entered, making me feel truly at home. Environment: The location is just outside the South Second Ring Road, which makes getting a taxi easy. During the Spring Festival, the surrounding shops were closed, so it was quite quiet. The lighting in the room was excellent.
