Hotels in South Railway Station/Tianfu Cade mall, Chengdu

The hotel is incredibly close to the South Station. You just turn left after exiting and it's a few steps away, perfect for those needing to catch a train. The room decor has a business feel, and the style seems a bit dated, but the carpet makes it very comfortable to walk on. The room was very clean and well-equipped, providing a great experience.

The Good: 1) The room was nicely renovated. Very different feeling from the lobby and lift and corrido, which are old and dated. Can overlook the public spaces since you're only living inside. 2) Shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, bedroom slippers, hair dryer, all given. Nice touch of a Chinese tea set for 2 as well. But didn't have body lotion. 3) Sufficient towels and bathrobes which were not torn. 4) Service staff good! Allowed me to check in earlier than stated 2pm and I waited 20 mins for room to be ready. Also kept a lookout for a parcel and informed me when it reached. The Ok: Not too obvious from the main road. Come out Exit H1 of South Railway Station metro station, walk straight ahead about 400m to the road junction. It's diagonally opposite the road to the Capita Mall. Walking from Line 18 to hotel with luggage takes about 10 mins. Road pavement is ok for luggage wheels. The Bad: Nothing too bad. Just wish they gave a full roll of toilet paper instead of half for a 1 day stay.

Very good IU Hotel, the front desk service is very good, and they helped me upgrade the room for free. The environment is good and the room is relatively quiet. It is worth recommending

In order to catch the high-speed train the next morning, I planned to choose a hotel near Chengdu South Station. I stayed at Yijia last time, which was close but a little old, so I chose Global 60,000 Miles this time. The hotel room was also clean and comfortable, with separate wet and dry bathrooms. I would also like to share my own guide on how to walk from the hotel to Chengdu South Station. You need to walk to the entrance of Line 7 on Guanghe 1st Street next to it, enter and scan the Chengdu electronic boarding code to enter the station, then walk straight, and come out of Exit L with the boarding code. It is free within 15 minutes. Take the elevator to the entrance of Chengdu South Station. The journey inside the station takes 5 minutes, and the total journey takes about 15 minutes.

I'm absolutely thrilled with this hotel! Both the facilities and the service are top-notch. The room design is really stylish, the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation and plenty of hot water, and the smart voice control throughout the room is super convenient. The front desk staff were all very professional and friendly. Definitely a five-star rating, no hesitation!

My first time experiencing a self-check-in system. There's no front desk; access is via a door code. Basement parking is available at 2 yuan per hour. The owner was incredibly friendly, truly leaving a great impression of Chengdu hospitality. The room was spotless, and the washing machine, air conditioning, and TV were all brand new and worked perfectly. The provided toiletries were also of good quality. However, the hairdryer wasn't very powerful, so it took quite a while to dry my hair. The hotel is conveniently located near Donghu Park, which is great for a leisurely stroll. From the room, I enjoyed a wide and open view into the distance.

家裡來了客人，臨時去住了兩晚。雖然房間挨着中環路，但是關上窗户噪聲很小，基本不影響。房間比較大，設備都是比較老的，但是舒適度沒有問題。讓我想起老家縣城的四星級賓館了，很old school 的感覺，哈哈哈。這個價位住得很滿意了，下次家裡來人還住。

This is a great hotel! The hygiene is excellent; it's very clean and tidy. The service was also top-notch. My mom can't stay in windowless rooms, so the lady at the front desk kindly upgraded our room type for free, which we really appreciated! The room was spacious, and fully equipped with all the amenities. The bed was very soft and comfortable. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time!

## Ambiance, Facilities & Service: The hotel is situated next to an elevated road, and from the outside, it doesn't look particularly striking. However, the interior environment is quite cozy. The lobby is on the smaller side but features a seating area where you can get coffee. It's a fully automatic bean-to-cup machine, but only offers espresso or Americano – no milk-based options. Still, the service is great; they'll even prepare it for you. Overall, the front desk service is excellent, and the staff are very patient. We encountered a minor issue with invoicing, but they resolved it quickly and efficiently. ## Room Interior & Soundproofing: The room design is indeed quite distinctive. The TV wall is centrally located and connects to a small desk, perfect for getting some work done. The window is large, but unfortunately, there's only an elevated road outside, so no scenic views. However, the soundproofing is exceptional; you can barely hear the traffic outside, allowing for a very peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom, washbasin, and toilet are thoughtfully separated, which is a very user-friendly design. There's also a generously sized bathtub that took about an hour to fill. A relaxing soak after a shower was very enjoyable. ## Tips: Most guests stay here for easy access to the South Railway Station. You should allow about 30 minutes to walk to the boarding gate. I recommend exiting the hotel, turning right, and crossing the street to the opposite side; it's a shorter route than going the other way.
