Hotels in Jianshe Road and Eastern Suburb Memory Park, Chengdu

I've stayed at this DoubleTree by Hilton multiple times, and each visit has been excellent. The King rooms are slightly smaller than the Twin rooms and are also more expensive. Personally, I find the Twin rooms offer better value. The location is superb. Tianjie shopping mall is right downstairs, and Dongjiao Memory Park is directly opposite, so you'll never be short on dining or entertainment options. This is my absolute top pick when visiting Chengdu!

I stayed here for 3 consecutive nights while dropping off my child at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (Shahe Campus). The stay was exceptionally comfortable, and I highly recommend this hotel! **Facilities:** It's a smart hotel. **Cleanliness:** Spotlessly clean. **Environment:** Extremely convenient for dining and shopping. There's a vibrant food street right downstairs with a wide variety of delicious local dishes. **Service:** The hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming.

This hotel is so new that it seems to have opened in a hurry without sufficient preparation. When checking in, they said that the room would be upgraded, but the windows of the upgraded room could not be closed tightly. I called the front desk several times, and it took a long time for someone to come to fix it. After inspection, they said that it could not be fixed, so I had to change the room again, which delayed nearly an hour. However, Manager Yang's service was good, efficient, and able to actively solve problems, but the ability of other service staff could be improved. Considering that the hotel has just opened, these situations are understandable, and I hope it will get better and better in the future.

The room was excellent, and the service was top-notch. Despite a minor incident where a security guard (an older gentleman) inadvertently took my food delivery, the manager's subsequent handling of the situation left a profound impression on me, filling me with an even greater appreciation for the city of Chengdu. Not only did they offer a sincere apology, but they also warmly presented me with a generous bag of local souvenirs. By the way, Manager, you look incredibly young, like an enthusiastic university student! We traveled all the way from Nanjing, and honestly, we hadn't expected to have another chance to visit Chengdu in this lifetime. However, it's the warmth of this hotel that has completely changed our minds and made us determined to plan another trip. The hotel boasts a good location and offers excellent value for money, with very friendly staff. However, the overall management seems a bit lax. The most significant issue was that the cleaning staff missed a mineral water bottle that a previous guest had opened, taken a sip from, and then placed back. (To be fair, the previous guest hadn't removed the bottle's tag, making it harder to spot), thankfully, my family noticed it in time. When we brought this to the hotel's attention, their response was excellent. They offered us compensation, including complimentary breakfast, executive lounge access, and a transfer service. While their willingness to compensate was commendable, I still hope they'll tighten up their management. After all, by the time compensation is offered, the unfortunate incident has already happened. Compensation is merely a recovery measure; preventing such occurrences should be the hotel's primary management focus and goal. Peak season, with its high occupancy rates, is precisely when housekeeping services face their greatest challenges, and it's during these times that a hotel's management truly shows its strength. Ultimately, despite the hiccup, the hotel offers excellent value. The issue was resolved satisfactorily, the staff are professional and enthusiastic, and the location is good, making it still a recommended stay. (A highlight: Maocai was available for breakfast – distinctly Sichuan!)

The hotel is conveniently located next to the University of Technology. The parking garage on B2 offers direct access to Metro Lines 7 and 8, making transportation very easy. However, the hotel's entrance can be a little hard to find. The guest rooms are very spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows provide a great night view. I particularly appreciated the separate shower and toilet design. There's also a self-service laundry room available on the 5th floor. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient. Vivi, one of the staff members, was very warm and patiently recommended some delicious local restaurants. Item delivery to the room was prompt, arriving within minutes. Food delivery orders are brought by robots, although you might have to wait a bit longer during peak meal times. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

The hotel service is very good. As soon as you arrive at the store, they serve tea and food, and they remind you of the hotel facilities and give you detailed instructions on eating, drinking and entertainment in the surrounding area. The room is very clean, the facilities are complete, the various pandas in the hotel are very cute, my daughter likes it very much!
