Hotels in Panda base/Theatre General Hospital, Chengdu

Everything was good except for the air-conditioning, which was already maxed out but the room was still very warm :( They did offer to switch us to another room, but that room smelled heavily of smoke so we opted not to change.

This time I brought my baby to Chengdu to see pandas. I chose this Yinshu Hotel (Chengdu Panda Base Branch). The location is very close to the panda base, which is very convenient! The hotel is novel and fashionable, the environment is fresh and elegant, and it is surrounded by green plants, which makes people feel comfortable. The facilities are very considerate. I stayed in a lazy bed room. The smart sleep-aid mattress is great. The baby slept very well. The smart thermostatic toilet is also easy to use. The hygiene is meticulous and the room is spotless. There is also a robot service, which the children chased and played with. The front desk was also enthusiastic and responded to any needs in seconds. It is cost-effective and I will stay here again next time!

Hotel wasn’t the most ideally located for those wishing to do things in the evening, it would have been a short taxi journey but this would be very low cost, however did have a small convenience store, McDonald’s and a few other food choices just outside the hotel.. The room was very spacious, modern and high tech. The staff were very helpful and booked a taxi for us. We stayed here to visit Chengdu Panda centre with was around 25 minutes in a taxi, but again very low cost.

Pros: Very good service and friendly staff, especially if you speak Chinese. The place is relatively close to the picture, with moderate wear and tear. Comfortable bed and toilet, clean bathroom I really liked the disposable towel as I don't have to worry about the cleaners of the towels. The view was clear without obstacles from our room. Cons: Things thats on the TV console should be on the shelf, especially hot water boiler as kids could easily touch it and getting burned. The room is clean, but it's in a dated and old, rather depressing apartments compounds. No dryer, washing machine was difficult to use as there was No WAY I would get onto the filthy balcony to access the washing machine. No microwave, you have to ask the service ppl to microwave for you. (They are happy to do that) This was rather important, as the heater was only in the bedroom, we couldn't close the bedroom during the night as the kids sleeping in the living room would get too cold.also there was a raft from the kids window. We stayed during the moderately warm autumn, but this would worry me during the winter. (Only stayed in the red panda room)

The room was very clean, and the service attitude of the lady at the front desk was also very nice. The location of the hotel was very convenient for me. I mainly wanted to see Huahua, so I chose one that was closer to the panda base, about seven kilometers away, and There are two squares and supermarkets downstairs and opposite the hotel, which are very convenient for eating and drinking. In the evening, go to the Jinxiu Square opposite and there are some food stalls you can try.

The room facilities are very new, clean, intelligent, comfortable and warm. The breakfast is rich in variety. The service is super super good. I almost missed the bus, and they helped me carry my luggage all the way. Thank you (I came back late and left early this night, so I didn’t have time to take pictures. The location is perfect, transportation is convenient, the surroundings are quiet, the kids love it, I highly recommend it, and I would choose it again. The price is a bit high, but it's during the holidays! It's definitely worth the money! They also give me a nice little gift, which I have to like!

I contacted them before I stayed there. The staff was very friendly and asked us how we were going to get there. They told me on the phone that some people might not be used to this room type, so I wanted to see the room first. The staff was very polite and took us to see it. This room type is just what I wanted. It's very comfortable for watching movies. The price is very worthwhile. The consumables used are still very high-end, unlike some hotels that use very poor quality ones. It's convenient to go to the panda base. I will choose this hotel next time! Go!

We specifically booked this guesthouse near the flower viewing area. In the mornings, it was a quick 10-minute bike ride to the South Gate, and about a 20-minute walk back. While it looked close on the map, it felt a little far in practice. The room amenities were decent overall. However, we arrived late and left early the next day, so we basically just slept and didn't get a chance to fully enjoy them. My friend mentioned the projector's picture quality was subpar, possibly due to an outdated model. With two bedrooms, it was perfect for our group of four, and the layout was practical. Considering the price, it offered excellent value for money; in the city center, we'd only be able to afford a single room. Oh, we drove there, and parking at the guesthouse was convenient right in the basement of the residential complex, with plenty of available spots. My only minor gripe is its close proximity to the building opposite. I'd forgotten to close the window one night and was rudely awakened in the middle of the night by some children arguing with their parents from the opposite building. Definitely not ideal for light sleepers (P.S. My friend, however, slept soundly — so jealous!). P.P.S. The bathroom had a rain shower head, haha!
