Hotels in Jiuyan Bridge/Sichuan University Area, Chengdu

Was a great choice staying at the Hidden House, definitely would recommend. Room was tidy with lots of space, attentive staff and location wise found it really convenient to get around. There is laundry facilities and also a rooftop space with views of the river. Breakfast every day was also super delicious. Want to thank Xiao Liu and everyone at the hotel for their hospitality!

The location of the hotel is within the Second Ring Road, easily accessible to many restaurants at the nearby Wanda Plaza which is a stone’s throw away. Taking DiDi to Chengdu East Railway station is only 22 mins which is very convenient or alternatively it is only a 32 mins ride by public transportation - metro. The only downside is that it is an hour ride to the Chengdu Tianfu International Airport by DiDi. Checked in to an upgraded hotel room for our 6 nights stay. Toiletries provided are of reputable brand - L’Occitane brand. We were well taken care of and our stay at the hotel was comfortable. Special mention to YiYi for the smooth checkout !

The hotel has a great location, the staff are very helpful. The breakfast selection is good both western and Chinese. Lots of food places and stores around , located on the riverside . Very lively at night, would stay again if in chengdu.

The place is super convenient. The MRT line 6 and line 2 is just downstairs. Just downstairs are several shops selling bbq, desserts and peddlers selling desserts, fruit and sugarcane at night. There's a shopping mall just across the road. It's about 5-10 minute walk from Jiuyanqiao which is where all the pubs and night stalls are so there's stuff to do at night too.

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Chengdu has convenient transportation. The Niuwangmiao subway station downstairs has Metro Line 2, which runs through Chengdu from east to west. It runs from Xipu in the west to Longquanyi in the east. It is a convenient and fast means of transportation to Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, Kuanzhai Alley, Tianfu Square, and People's Park. You can also transfer at Xipu to go to the famous scenic spots of Qingcheng Mountain and Dujiangyan. There is also Metro Line 6, which is known as the subway with the most stations and the longest mileage in Chengdu. It has a total of 56 stations. The north-south Line 6 can go directly to or transfer to more tourist attractions in Chengdu: Wuhou Temple, Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Qingyang Palace, Wenshuyuan, Huanhuaxi, Wangjiang Tower, Qintai Hometown, Giant Panda Base, Jinsha Ruins, Sanxingdui, etc. The Jiuyan Bridge, Lan Kwai Fong, and Shuijingfang are downstairs of the hotel. It is really convenient to stay at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Chengdu and visit various attractions in Chengdu!

This hotel was perfect and super affordable. The room was large, clean, and comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The hotel is also close to the metro station which is handy. I will definitely stay here if I visit Chengdu again

My friend told me that the front desk upgraded the room. The room is really big. I like the sofa very much. It is very long. The lighting is also good. There is also a secondary bathroom which is not bad. The breakfast is also good.

Very good location, convenient to all the night entertainments and live houses. A lot of restaurants nearby so no worries to your night snacks until morning. The room is clean and they have house cleaning every day (i.e. they change the bath/ face towels every day, swipe the floor every day, etc.). Good noise protection (the window in the room faces to the highway, but not noisy at all). Free self-service laundry (washer and dryer) and very clean. But one problem is the door of every hotel rooms. We kept waking up by our neighbors whenever they enter/ leave their rooms - the room door is too tight/ hard to close and always ”bang” whenever you & your neighbors enter/ leave their rooms.

A very moving stay experience. This time I brought my family to Chengdu for a staggered peak tour. When I got off the plane, I encountered a small situation that caused my mother’s wheelchair to be unusable. I just helped my mother to the hotel by car all the way. I didn’t want to delay the trip. I hurriedly wanted to find a place to go. I bought another one, but I didn’t expect to ask the front desk when they pushed one out of their locker room for the first time and said that they could use it for free during their stay. We suddenly let our original low mood return to the trip in an instant, not only that, They also carefully introduced me and recommended various delicious and fun places around, so that we originally booked a night to go to Dujiangyan, we were reluctant to leave this enthusiastic Chengdu, and immediately decided to stay for one night after discussing with the family. After all, the scenic area has always been there. But such a warm service is not often there, oops, wrote too much, hurry to go to the place recommended by the handsome guy at the front desk to play, in short, come here is really a great choice, this trip is too rushed, next time you have the opportunity to come to live for a few more days, Please have a meal and thank you!
