Hotels in Jiuyan Bridge/Sichuan University Area, Chengdu

Excellent and extremely kind staff who are really helpful in fulfilling our request and helping out with my parcels. We were hoping to extend our stay for 2 hours - they were very kind to grant us an extension, which was really helpful~ would love to come back again when I’m back in Chengdu!

It seems I'd never gotten around to staying at this Shangri-La before, but with a business meeting in the vicinity this time, it was the perfect opportunity to do so. The location is truly superb, right on Binjiang Road, next to Lan Kwai Fong, and Taikoo Li is also within easy walking distance. The lobby is located on the second floor, while the coffee shop is on the ground floor. My room offered lovely river views, overlooking the Anshun Bridge. There are plenty of convenient dining and shopping options nearby. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to try the hotel restaurant on this visit, but I'll definitely make sure to do so next time.

This is a lovely room with traditional setting and modern comfort. The room is spacious and tastefully decorated with local traditional furniture - love the tea set, you don’t find in regular hotel. Very clean and comfortable, easy access to charging points, and intimate breakfast area, though I took it without breakfast. But I got a lovely plate of fruits! Will certainly come again and the rate was very good, pleasantly low for such comfort. In addition it is very conveniently located near the station, lots of restaurants nearby. And the front desk manned by 2 lovely service staff efficiently, even upgraded me without my asking. One thing though, it will be great if there is a fridge, but seems there is a space for it, could be it was sent for repair, but no issue for me as it was a short stay, I expect they would have if I bothered to ask. Overall 5/5 rating from me.

The location of the hotel is within the Second Ring Road, easily accessible to many restaurants at the nearby Wanda Plaza which is a stone’s throw away. Taking DiDi to Chengdu East Railway station is only 22 mins which is very convenient or alternatively it is only a 32 mins ride by public transportation - metro. The only downside is that it is an hour ride to the Chengdu Tianfu International Airport by DiDi. Checked in to an upgraded hotel room for our 6 nights stay. Toiletries provided are of reputable brand - L’Occitane brand. We were well taken care of and our stay at the hotel was comfortable. Special mention to YiYi for the smooth checkout !

I have high requirements for the environment, facilities and sanitation when I go out to stay in the hotel. I am very satisfied with this stay. The decoration style is what I like. The hotel environment is beautiful, hygienic, the facilities are very new, the restaurant is also very exquisite, and there is a garden. Sleeping at night is very quiet, and it is good to choose here for fear of noisy. Very close to the city center and convenient. Nearby is the Jiuyan Bridge Covered Bridge. I go for a walk at night. The night view is beautiful. I especially like the small bar and water bar along the river. The consumption is not expensive. It belongs to the night life of Chengdu.

The hotel is located in a convenient area, near to mrt, near to jiu yan qiao. The room is clean, with some control switch spoiled but surprised me with a smart toilet bowl. I appreciated many aspects of my stay, but I did experience 2 issues I'd like to mention. Despite placing the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on my door, housekeeping still entered and cleaned the room. I understand that this may have been a misunderstanding, but I believe it's important to respect guests' privacy when the sign is displayed. I hope this can be addressed for future guests. Secondly, the breakfast provided to be below expectation in terms of quality and variety, additionally, the breakfast area itself was not pleasant and comfortable, which affect overall experience. A good breakfast can really enhance the overall guest experience.

The place is super convenient. The MRT line 6 and line 2 is just downstairs. Just downstairs are several shops selling bbq, desserts and peddlers selling desserts, fruit and sugarcane at night. There's a shopping mall just across the road. It's about 5-10 minute walk from Jiuyanqiao which is where all the pubs and night stalls are so there's stuff to do at night too.

The room features a thoughtful design and excellent privacy. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and high-quality toiletries are provided. It's also pet-friendly. Jiuyan Bridge is just a few minutes' walk away, which is super convenient for enjoying the bars and the night view of the Covered Bridge. Daily amenities are very accessible: there's a supermarket downstairs and a shopping mall right next door. Taxis are also easy to hail.

This shop I chose by accident is newly opened and decorated in a very simple and modern style. The shop owner was very considerate to send me the specific route in advance, and I found it quickly. After checking in, he gave me a snack and drink bag. It was very clean and complete. After leaving, he asked us if we needed water, and even gave us drinks! I was so embarrassed to accept it, the attitude was so good! The service is amazing, a very good experience! I will come here again next time I come to Chengdu!

Everything in the room can be controlled by voice, which is very convenient, but what makes me more numb is that I brought my son over this time. After he demonstrated it again at the front desk, he completely indulged in it, so I listened silently in the room for a whole night. ”Hello, Xiaowei”, Then the light switch like a bundy, but the next day, I finally managed to cheat him out of the hotel under my three-inch tongue. Although I still didn’t care when I took him out~ In short, it was very good and the price was very high. It can basically meet everyone’s needs. Come next time~ Shh, But I hope I don't bring my children, after all, the beautiful bar street opposite has not experienced it yet!
