Hotels in West China Hospital and Sichuan Provincial Stadium commercial area, Chengdu

At first, I was looking for a hotel that could accommodate four people with two bathrooms — something surprisingly hard to find. Somerset Riverview Chengdu turned out to be the perfect choice for what we needed. The room layout, convenient location, and reasonable price made it an excellent value. All the staff members were very kind, polite, and professional. Their service was excellent throughout our stay. The room was spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. Although the furniture looked a little old, everything was well maintained and worked perfectly. Before coming, I read several reviews saying the breakfast wasn’t great — but honestly, it was much better than expected! There was a wide variety of dishes that changed every day, and everything tasted delicious. There were always staff downstairs ready to assist and even help operate the elevator. The elevator area always smelled fresh and pleasant. The hotel is close to convenience stores and coffee shops, and if you plan to travel elsewhere, you can easily leave your luggage at the front desk — there’s always someone on duty 24 hours a day. Overall, I was very impressed with my stay here. Somerset Riverview Chengdu truly lives up to Ascott’s standards — comfortable, well-managed, and highly recommended!

The best location. Short walk to MET station. Connected to Big Raffles City Shopping Mall. They have all the good food and super markets. We did our last minutes souvenir at the super markets. A very delicious bakery store just next to the hotel lobby. Free water bottle. It serves to the room by a robot. The kids loved it. Rooms are clean. Breakfast are good with lots of choices. Breakfast on a high level with good view. Will definitely stay here when I return to Chengdu again.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at minyuon suniya hotel. The rooms had great views and was very clean. All the staff at reception were super friendly and helpful with recommending places to see/do in Chengdu - especially Garey Li and Aaron who helped us tremendously with organising our day trip to Emeishan , getting tickets to the Panda centre and also going above and beyond with helping us with a ******* delivery. The cleaners were also very friendly and thoughtful with helping us hang our laundry in our room for us so they would dry quicker. We were also pleasantly surprised with the thoughtful panda toy gift in our room 😃 Would highly recommend this hotel as the location was also great where most places were a 10-15 minute drive away. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Chengdu.

There are many restaurants nearby, and the subway station is right across from the hotel, making it very convenient. The front desk staff was friendly and check-in was quick and efficient. The room was clean and tidy. However, the soundproofing was terrible! The noise from people walking in the hallway and doors opening and closing were no big deal, but the sound of someone dragging a bench upstairs in the middle of the night was like thunder exploding overhead! If it wasn't carpet, why didn't the bench legs have cushions?

This is a new hotel with excellent service and a convenient location near Line 1. The rooms are a bit small for a hotel in the city center, but the price is quite reasonable, considering it's owned by Marriott. The front desk gave a panda plush to a child who was having a birthday and upgraded our floor, which was very thoughtful. The breakfast selection and flavors could be improved; I'm not sure what to eat if I stay for more than two days.

The room was very clean, and the bedding felt freshly laundered. My only minor complaint was that on the first day, there were mosquitoes in the room, resulting in quite a few bites for my child. The complimentary bottled water and tea bags provided daily were a nice touch. Overall, I was very satisfied and found the hotel to have a cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was a little basic, and some of the watermelon, in particular, wasn't fresh. My child, however, really enjoyed the wontons and rice noodles. Despite these minor points, it was still quite good overall. The location is incredibly convenient, being very close to the subway station and surrounded by numerous dining options. The hotel thoughtfully provided earplugs, which came in handy. On two separate nights, there was some noise from people downstairs drinking, eating, and chatting until 1 or 2 AM. Thankfully, with the earplugs in, it was completely quiet. The lobby on the ground floor has a very pleasant atmosphere, with small birds adding to the charm. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, and the attention to detail is commendable.

My first visit to Chengdu was this February, and a friend suggested I stay at Bu Yuan. For my second trip to Chengdu, specifically to see Jackson Yee, I immediately knew I had to book Bu Yuan again! I really can't recommend it enough. The Wabi-sabi style decor is absolutely stunning; every corner is incredibly photogenic. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and they even pamper you with Atelier Cologne toiletries. Our stay was exceptionally comfortable; everything feels brand new, and the amenities are top-notch. Breakfast was not only delicious but also exquisitely prepared. The front desk staff, like dedicated personal concierges, were incredibly attentive and and always went above and beyond to help. I'll definitely be choosing Bu Yuan again for my next trip to Chengdu!

The hotel's location is excellent, right at the subway exit, making travel very convenient. There's also an authentic food street just a 400-meter walk away. The rooms are well-appointed with a separate wet/dry bathroom, a mini-fridge, and a coffee machine. All the front desk staff were incredibly warm, enthusiastic, and attentive. We received a complimentary breakfast goodie bag. Due to the hot weather, we asked for water several times, and they quickly brought it to us every time. This was a truly worthwhile stay.

Thank you for your hospitality. The location of the hotel is very convenient and the staff is extremely friendly and sociable. The breakfast offered is delicious and varied, and the staff in the kitchen is also very kind. The sports room is cozy and well-equipped with a treadmill, a bicycle, and dumbbells ranging from 1-10 kg, providing everything needed for a workout. Very comfortable stay! Bed, shower facilities etc were all great. Though location wise is a little far from where i wanted to stay. I filtered out hotels at chunxi road and they appear, but they are not located there. No rejects staying there though.
