Chengdu Qingyang District Hotels

I stayed here with my parents, after looking at many places, we chose this one and stayed for 4 nights. It's a 7-minute walk to People's Park and a 10-minute walk to Kuanzhai Alley (Narrow Alley section). **Facilities**: Very thoughtful, with attention to detail. The family room had two double beds, a good size, and even a bathtub. They provided disposable toiletries. **Environment**: The outdoor environment is beautiful; my parents said every step was a scenic view, very charming. **Service**: The service was superb! On my first day, I left my traditional Chinese medicine at the front desk, and they didn't mind me picking it up twice a day. We also happened to be there during the Qixi Festival event, so we made beautiful fans and they even took pictures for us. Oh, and the breakfast each day was served individually – sandwich, rice noodles, noodles, porridge sets – all delicious. Plus, if you have an afternoon flight on your last day, they'll even deliver your luggage to the airport or train station, which was amazing! It's right at the domestic departure level, very convenient. **Hanfu Experience**: We changed into Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) when making the fans; they were very clean and pretty. **Distinguished Guest Chinese Style Afternoon Tea**: We enjoyed the afternoon tea on our last day. We could even have it on the second-floor terrace, which was very pleasant and relaxing.

The hotel was very nice, I celebrated my birthday there. They decorated the room so well and helped me get a cake. The room is very modern and service is efficient. Would highly recommend staying here

The location is very convenient, close to Baba Street, with many dining options within walking distance. Although the hotel is a bit old, the remnants of its former luxurious self are still evident. The rooms are very spacious, and the front desk staff's check-in speed is absolutely fantastic. However, there was a smoke smell in the room, likely from a previous guest, even though I had specifically requested a non-smoking room... All in all, for this price in the city center, it's definitely excellent value for money.

An excellent hotel with a very comfortable decor and smart facilities. The hygiene is impeccable, and it's great value for money given its prime location next to the Sichuan Science and Technology Museum. It's super convenient for visiting many attractions, and there are plenty of dining options nearby.

My overall stay experience was very good. The hotel is quite close to attractions around Chunxi Road and Tianfu Square, making travel very convenient. There's a subway station about six or seven meters away. The front desk staff were also great; they helped me with a discount and a free room upgrade. The service restaurant is located in the experimental building and offers a good variety of dishes.

Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay, although our first impression could have been a little better. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and very pleasant. However, when we first arrived, I felt that the front desk staff were a little cool and robotic, so the welcome didn’t feel as warm as I expected. The staff who helped us with our luggage to the room also didn’t really introduce the hotel or its facilities, and the security guard we met on our first night didn’t seem very friendly either. These small things made our first impression of the service a little disappointing. Luckily, things became much better from the second day onwards. The staff we met later, especially on our check-out day, were friendly, warm, and always willing to help. Their attitude really made a difference and improved our overall experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, it was delicious and there were plenty of choices every morning. The location is another big plus. It’s very convenient and easy to get around and explore the area. Despite the slightly disappointing start, we still enjoyed our stay. A warmer and more personal welcome on arrival would definitely make the experience even better. Special thanks to the friendly staff we met during the rest of our stay for making us feel much more welcomed!

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed, including a refrigerator and comfortable beds. Water was provided every day, and it was also possible to request additional items if needed, such as a shaving kit. We stayed on the 6th floor and had a nice view from the room. We also booked the room with breakfast and were very happy with that choice. The breakfast is buffet-style, with a good mix of Chinese dishes as well as more familiar options such as eggs, vegetables, porridge and yogurt. The location is excellent, with a metro station nearby and easy access to the main central attractions. All the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. A special mention to Nina and Aurora.

I picked this hotel in Chengdu blindly, and it turned out to be a real gem! The location is super convenient; getting a taxi or finding food is a breeze, with restaurants and convenience stores all around. The room was spotlessly clean, and best of all, it's a non-smoking hotel! Absolutely no smell of smoke, which I really appreciated. There weren't any overpriced snacks or drinks in the room, which made it feel neat and tidy. The WiFi required a web login, but once connected, the speed was very stable. The mattress was comfortable, and the hot water came on quickly. If you need anything for kids, just ask the front desk; they respond very quickly. The room was quiet at night, and I slept really well. Overall, my experience was fantastic. I'd definitely stay here again next time I visit and highly recommend it to friends coming to Chengdu!

This is my second stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu, and as always, the service is excellent. The breakfast is fantastic, and the view is stunning! 😎 Located in the city center, it's perfect for both business travelers and individual tourists. Downstairs, you'll find the original Chen Mapo Tofu and Yang Mala Tang restaurants, great for late-night cravings. Meria was very thoughtful, sending chocolates and yogurt. After breakfast, I grabbed two small bags of loose candies to snack on later. Everything was a wonderful experience; I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!
