Hotel Location: The hotel is very conveniently located, less than a ten-minute bike ride to popular spots like Kuanzhai Alley and Du Fu Thatched Cottage. It's also only about a five-minute walk from the subway station. The front desk staff member was incredibly nice; he upgraded our room and even gave us two panda souvenirs! We observed many international guests staying at the hotel. The gentleman at the entrance was always smiling, making us feel very relaxed, and he also helped us with our luggage. Simply sitting in the hotel and enjoying some tea was a delightful experience.

Location was very good, 5 minutes to Peoples Park and subway station. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the room we booked was not available, when we arrived so we got a different room the first night. On the second day we got the room we booked but it was a smoking room and smelled of cicarettes. The same non-smoking room was not available so we had to change to a smaller room for the rest of our stay. The refund of the price difference was not possible but they offered us free breakfast on one morning.

Reminds me of the historical past when I entered the hotel. The place is really convenient as it is within Wenshu Yuan, one of the places of interest. The place itself showcases the essence of Sichuan culture. The only setback is that it has no lift. But the staff was helpful to carry the luggage to our room for us. Especially thankful for paying attention to our check out time which is 6am early in the morning to help us carry our luggage down. It is a place worth staying if you want to experience the life in an ancient city.

We initially booked a three-day stay through another platform for around 480-490 CNY in late July. The first day was so comfortable that we immediately extended our stay for another three days via Ctrip for just over 500 CNY. Of our 8-day, 7-night trip, only the very last day required us to stay near the airport for our flight; we were truly sad to leave Ruicheng Hotel. Traveling as a family of three with an older child, we needed a family room. The one we booked was a suite with two separate areas: an inner room with a 2-meter king-size bed and an outer room with a 1.2-meter single bed. The mattresses felt like a premium silicone type, so turning over didn't disturb anyone. The bedding, which felt incredibly soft and high-quality, likely contained goose down. This suite also featured a bathtub, and we were able to use disposable liners, which was a nice touch. After long days of sightseeing, it was perfect to come back and soak our feet. The housekeeping staff were incredibly thoughtful; they left us plenty of bottled water daily. One day, I even discovered that my charging cable had been neatly tidied up! The bathroom was always spotless, and toiletries were well-arranged. Front desk service was exceptional. This hotel frequently hosts conferences and banquets, and the entire staff demonstrates high professionalism. As first-time visitors to Chengdu, our six-day stay truly felt like home. The buffet breakfast is highly recommended; it offers a wide variety of dishes and is available until 10 AM, so many guests treat it as an early lunch. We noticed many families with children also chose this hotel. We often requested extra water, paper cups, and other amenities, which were always delivered to our room free of charge. A huge commendation goes to the sweet, round-faced young lady from the 26th-floor executive level who delivered items; whenever we troubled her, especially during peak tourist times, we'd see her running around, clearly working very hard and a bit out of breath 😀. The subway stations for Wenshu Monastery and Luomashi are both conveniently close by. I highly recommend 'Lao Wei Dao Sichuan Cuisine' at the New Times Plaza branch, situated in a residential area right by an intersection. It's a charming, small restaurant on a side street. Chatting with the owner couple while enjoying authentic local dishes truly offers a genuine 'back-alley' travel experience. Wenshu Monastery nearby was our favorite attraction; it isn't overly commercialized. We only managed to visit Wenshu Monastery briefly on our last day, but I suggest allocating more time. Inside, you can find tea tasting, incense offerings, and a library, many of which are free. It also houses numerous paintings and calligraphies by Feng Zikai, creating a profound cultural atmosphere. It's a very serene place, absolutely worth visiting to find inner peace.

Overall a nice stay. But the child bed mattress is too thin & uncomfortable. There are inconsiderate guests in the hotel who smoke in their room with the door open and some male guests walk around in the hotel shirtless!

Staying at this hotel for total of 3 nights. Located at the quite alley and seem a bit far from crowded and happening places but surrounded by many eateries usually visited by local. We arrived and checked in very late due to flight schedules and very hungry, luckily the hotel provided free late/supper counter for hotel guests. We took some congee and dessert to fill up the stomach before heading to our room. Room size consider small but sufficient for us with 3 luggage bags. Rooms was very clean, bed was comfy, shower was great with strong water pressure, and all amenities u can think off (haha u will understand once u check in), is all provided. Very very good. Breakfast was limited but sufficient enough to fill yr stomach to kick start yr day and dining area although is small but very clean. Unexpected They gave us breakfast bag 1 morning as we are leaving for the day tour very very early and really appreciated it as we really felt hungry during our road trip. And the last thing, all the staffs was very helpful and very friendly towards their guests . Final verdict, must stay here and u won't regret.

The room design was spacious and elegant, featuring a tea ceremony table and a home projector cinema, which my son absolutely loved. What impressed me most was the lush greenery outside the balcony. Opening the screen window, we were greeted with a refreshing green vista through the expansive glass panes, complete with fragrant yuzu trees laden with fruit of all sizes. It was truly a natural oasis with grass, trees, flowers, and fruits. The balcony also featured a small table and chairs, perfect for children to read and study outdoors, which is very beneficial for their eyes. Another incredibly convenient aspect was the hotel's dining service; the food was delicious. I was personally very satisfied and would definitely stay here again given the chance. Special mention to the ladies at the front desk whose service attitude was exceptional. Overall, a truly enjoyable trip!

The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the main shopping area. Check-in was smooth and the staff were incredibly welcoming, providing helpful information. Our room was clean, well-maintained, and had a comfortable bed.

I recently spent four nights at Louise Hotel and had a truly wonderful experience. The service stood out from the very beginning; staff members were consistently helpful, accommodating, friendly, and polite, which created a welcoming and stress-free atmosphere throughout my stay. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and immaculately maintained. My room was clean, modern, and extremely comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. One of the highlights was having my own private pool, which added a luxurious and relaxing touch to the stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, allowing for restful nights, and the amenities provided were of great quality. While the overall experience was excellent, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. The location is not as central as I would have preferred, meaning I had to travel a bit to reach restaurants and shopping areas. In addition, breakfast was not included, so I was unable to enjoy it at the hotel and had to rely on takeout. Despite these small issues, Louise Hotel exceeded my expectations. It offers remarkable service, affordable rates, and modern, comfortable rooms that make it an outstanding choice for travelers. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cost-effective yet memorable hotel experience.

Great location. We like hotels with some character and personality and this one has lots of it. Our room was huge and enjoyed having the balcony. The hotel listing says both Asian and Western options are available for breakfast but this is not true. Only a very small ******* style breakfast offered . The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Great coffee from machine at reception. Take Exit A from metro stop as it brings you up on correct side of road.
