Amazing spirit of apartments! Wow! High ceiling, antique and beautiful furniture, comfortable bed. A charming garden. The only complaint: not excellent cleaning, hairs of previous guests in the bathroom is not ok((

A boutique hotel that is clean, modern, and very comfortable. Small and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. There is also a lovely quaint coffee shop on site. Hong is very helpful and nothing is a problem.

Absolutely Amazing Stay! Would 100% recommend this hotel in Chengdu and I would return and stay here if I’m back in Chengdu! Entrance a bit difficult to find as you need to go through the coffee shop to a back gate to get to the hotel but otherwise I loved everything about the atmosphere, and stay. Convenient to get around and not far from the subways.

It’s an original boutique hotel next to a church with a sublime decoration and lovely green court in the middle, a perfect place to take a breakfast, drink a tea or read a book. The area is very quiet, though very close to Chengdu sightseeing places like KuanZhan alley or Wuhou temple (10min drive by taxi) and just next too a coffee shop. It’s also 5min walk from a place to take a Covid test. The best part however on top of that was the Host! Very friendly and helpful, he arranged for us a delicious local breakfast, recommended really good restaurant for a dinner and helped us a lot with all the testing and codes stories (he even accompanied us up to the testing place and helped with translation). Thank you again!🙏 I recommend this hotel at 100%!!!!

Amazing hotel! Such a gem right in the middle of the city. Super friendly staff, beautiful courtyard, and historic church. Hong helped us out so much with great recommendations and making bookings.The room was comfortable and cozy. There’s a hospital nearby for easy NAT testing. There’s some construction nearby, but it’s not that bad as it mostly went on during the day when we were out.

This is a hotel that surprised me. In fact, the Disciples South Courtyard is more like a homestay, a very clean and unique homestay. I decided to stay one more night in Chengdu. I had already stayed two nights near Sichuan Museum, and there was nothing else to do near there. I was browsing Ctrip and saw the Disciples South Courtyard. I felt it was very unique and immediately placed an order to move here in the evening. When I got off the car, the driver said, "It looks like there is no hotel"... I realized it later and looked closely... Ah🤔 In front of me was a church and church members were entering one after another... It really didn't look like a hotel... I quickly called the Disciples manager who had contacted me before. He was very nice and came out to pick me up as soon as he received the call (from a door without an obvious sign). It was drizzling again in the evening, and the area was quiet and not very bright. Thank you for helping me get my luggage for more than ten days to the room and introducing Yuexiang Village to me for dinner👍; the Disciple South Courtyard has a very high ceiling and is a classical building in the building❤️. The supplies in the room are very exquisite and the supplies are also very good; the fragrant Body Lotion saved me when I ran out of coconut oil, and I brought back the small sewing box and hair tie🤭. The next day, I woke up and stopped in the yard to gaze at the beautiful statue of the Virgin Mary. I walked to the back of the yard and vaguely heard the sound of singing hymns... It was quiet and distant🌷. There is also a very beautiful small coffee shop Wonderlust at the entrance of the hotel. I spent more than an hour there😆. Opposite the hotel gate is a small park Mochi, but the park grass is not allowed to be walked or sat on. I asked the security guard and he said it is like this all year round. By the way, the park grass maintained with public money, what is the concept of not allowing citizens to walk or sit? ? The grass is not bad to sit on😮💨; just imagine how comfortable it is for ordinary people to sit on the grass in the park on a sunny afternoon! Oh, let's go back to the South Courtyard of the Disciples. I came back from the West Village Courtyard in the afternoon to pick up the borrowed luggage. Thank you for lending me my phone to charge and helping me carry my luggage to the car. You also helped me ask about the beautiful retro embossed toilet paper in the room. Thank you so much! I have introduced it to my friend and asked her to stay there when she goes to Chengdu.

It was my first visit to Chengdu. I stayed here for five consecutive nights and left with wonderful and rich memories! The John room I stayed in was right at the side exit of the Catholic Church. I could see the church roof above the window, and the sound of mass singing could be heard at 7:30 in the morning, which made me, as a Catholic, feel warm and sweet. Although it is decorated in a historic style and does not provide a TV, the room is stunning in every detail. The high ceiling supported by nanmu, the crystal chandeliers and LED recessed lights provide comfortable and ample lighting, the antique furniture and sofa seats are elegant and beautiful, there are exquisite murals, the silicone joints at the bathtub are neat and clean, there is plenty of water for showering or bathing, and there are specially made cultural and creative teapots, teacups, and tea strainers that I couldn't help but buy as souvenirs. The atrium lounge area has a relaxing landscape and is still green even in winter. There are stray cats who come to the small living room in the office to eat regularly. It is a place full of peace and love. This experience made me decide to visit Chengdu again, and Mendisciple South Courtyard was the only accommodation option.

The bed and pillow are comfortable, the lighting is soft, and the bath products are from L'Occitane, which are very useful. The green plants in the yard are also very unique, and the transportation is also very convenient. It is not far to walk to Wenshu Square in People's Park. The Catholic Church next to it can also be visited. It is worth coming again.
