Response from Property: Dear guest, nice to meet you. The three words "smoke and fire" flowing in your writing are just like the morning mist on the banks of Jinjiang River. They not only depict the beauty of leaning on the railing of Wenjun Tower and listening to the market, but also tell the lovely troubles of the hustle and bustle of the city. This century-old house in western Sichuan, originally breathed with every brick and tile, and beat in unison with the pulse of Chengdu. The city sounds you hear may be the echo of Sima Xiangru riding his horse across the bluestone slabs? I'm enclosing a specially made ginkgo leaf soundproof bookmark with this letter. The veins of the leaves contain the twilight from the Kuanzhai Alley, and I hope it will accompany you as you enjoy the night rain in Bashu. When autumn comes and the sweet osmanthus fragrance fills the air, we sincerely invite you to come under the eaves again to taste the newly brewed fermented glutinous rice wine and see how we turn the "old" into the "ancient" and the hustle and bustle into human warmth.
