I traveled to participate in the triathlon and stayed at a hotel that was ideally located next to the lake. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. However, my experience with the restaurant staff was frustrating. On the first day, I arrived for lunch and was refused service because they claimed it was "too late"—yet they proceeded to seat and serve other customers who arrived after me. The following morning at breakfast, the staff approached me multiple times to remind me of the 10 AM cutoff, even though they didn’t give the same reminders to other guests. I’m unsure whether this was due to me being a Westerner or because my Mandarin isn’t fluent, but both dining experiences left me feeling singled out and disappointed.

Attend STC Shanghu triathlon competition on 06/15. stayed Changshu Shanghu Huajianfu Yanboli Hote over the weendend. The hotel is so convenient and near the competition. The room experience and room service was really good. But the children playground was outside the hotel. I was there during raining day, so the staff told me it was closed during raining day. Well, I guess I need try it again next time when the weather is good

Quite a rustic setting with a good ambience. Close to the lake with boat rides, canoes, rafting and mini theme park. Camp site with bbq, table tennis and pool table. Breakfast at hotel quite diverse. Very pet friendly.

During the May Day holiday, I decided to visit Changshu. I accidentally saw this hotel with high reviews on Ctrip. I booked it without thinking too much. The hotel is located in the Changshu Shanghu Scenic Area. The environment is great and there are plenty of parking spaces. When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk staff was very skilled in checking in. The process was quite fast, and someone would lead me to the room. The hotel rooms are divided into several areas. Fortunately, my room is very close to the hotel lobby, so I don’t need to park and send. If it is farther away, I can call for parking and pick-up. The room is very clean and very quiet by the water. I am more particular about the bed, so every time I go out to play, sleeping at night is a headache. However, I slept very well after staying here for two nights, which means it is really quiet. The pillow is a little low. There are welcome fruits and special cakes in the room. I stayed for two nights. The hotel was very considerate and put in different flavors of pastries, and the mini bar and the refrigerator had so many snacks that you couldn't finish them. Because the weather was hot these two days, we finished all four bottles of water on the first day. When we came back the next day, we saw that the waiter put six bottles for us. It was really considerate. But then again, if there is not enough water, I really don't know where to buy it 😂 The sanitary napkins can only be used in the toilet, and they are specially equipped with an alcohol wipe and a disposable toilet seat cushion, which is very convenient. The bath water at night is also very good and comfortable, but the door of the shower room on the first day always felt that it could not be closed tightly, and the bath water came out and flowed into the bathroom. On the second night, I studied it for half a day and pulled the door in with all my strength. The silicone strip can be sealed and there is no leakage. I hope the waiter can pay attention to it in the future! Our room is a waterside room. When you open the window, you can see the lotus leaves under the window. I think this room will be more beautiful in summer, because the push bed is a beautiful lotus! The TV can cast the screen, but it can only receive Apple operating system. I hope Hongmeng can also be developed. There is free goodnight sweet soup every night. The first day is white wine glutinous rice balls, and the second day is milk oatmeal porridge. Breakfast is quite satisfactory, with special mushroom oil noodles. The hotel also has many activities to sign up for every day. The hotel also has bicycles for free. You can ride out to the periphery of Shanghu Lake, which is also very free! There are too many broken bikes. I hope that all the broken ones can be repaired or inspected on time, otherwise they can't be ridden. In case some of them are broken halfway through riding, it will be a terrible road to push them back, more than ten kilometers! In addition, the hotel is located in a natural environment, so there are more small insects. It is recommended that the hotel can regularly disinfect at the door of the room, otherwise people with intensive phobia are very scared every time they enter the room. Will there be little guys disturbing the bed! Overall, I like this hotel very much and I will book it next time!

The hotel is located in Shanghu Scenic Area. The rooms are not too big. The twin room is slightly larger than the king room. There are welcome fruits, sesame and gorgon cakes are delicious~Minibar is free, and steam eye masks are provided! I stayed for 2 nights and had 3 meals (mainly because Changshu really didn't have much to eat, and there was no takeaway nearby). Every meal had pepper and sesame Shanghu big white silk, which is definitely the ceiling of white silk fish, super fresh, and the meat is thread-by-thread, which is worthy of the first recommendation! But don't order river shrimp!! 📌The hotel provides goodnight sweet soup every night! The hotel service is really good, responsive and considerate!

The first time I stayed at Huajianfu, I had a particularly good impression. Shanghu Huajianfu is part of the scenic area. Standing in the pavilion in the center of the lake, you can overlook Fushui Villa on the opposite bank. In the evening, the pavilion in the center of the lake is also the best place to enjoy the sunset. The weather was fine when I checked in, and I was very happy to enjoy the perfect sunset by the lake again. I ordered dinner at Huajianshi. The mushroom oil noodles were large enough. Although they were delicious, two people couldn't finish them. I would like to give a small suggestion to the chef. The amount of noodles can be reduced by half. It is better to add them free of charge according to the needs of the guests, so as not to waste them. After dinner, take a walk in the yard to digest the food, and it is also nice to watch the hotel's light show. It was just in time for the fifteenth day of the ***** month, and enjoy the moon by the way. Although the room is close to the water, it is very quiet. When I got up in the morning, I suddenly found that the lotus in the pond was in full bloom. In addition, from the housekeeper to the front desk clerk, the service was thoughtful and meticulous.

This hotel is beyond my expectation. It was recommended by a friend. The scenery is pleasant and suitable for taking children out. The nearby Shanghu Lake and Flying Bear Park are both fun and worth visiting twice. I will come to this hotel again in the future. The butler service is also very good, energetic and enthusiastic.
