Amazing
GGuest UserFrom the moment we arrived via boat to the most beautiful setting, we were breath taken! The private beach is great for snorkeling and safe for kids. Our room (no. 6) was a good size, nice balcony, some sea views and comfortable. Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful, especially the receptionist who was always smiling and super friendly. Of our 8-day stay in Koh Lipe, we spent 3 nights here. By comparison, the hotel we moved to next was marginally cheaper, also with a high (but not as high) rating. Ten Moons was the better deal!!!
Pros:
- Stunning location
- Large glass water jug in the room (which was refilled daily using a 5 gallon water bottle rather than multiple small plastic bottles). Great to see the hotel reducing the use of plastic!
- Great breakfast selection
- Food available all day
- Clean
- Staff helpful and friendly
- Life jackets, beach toys, snorkels, etc available for use for free
- Quiet location/very peaceful and relaxing
- Lovely sand (sand texture tends to vary in Koh Lipe however it was great here!)
- Walking distance or ferry ride to walking street and more livelier areas
Cons:
- One of the few hotels not showing a sign or communicating/educating tourists NOT to step on coral. The by-product is that there isn’t a lot of live coral to see although there is still a lot of fish life. By comparison, we saw a hotel further down actively promoting not to stand on coral with staff educating tourists
- No pool (although not needed as the sea area is more than ample to swim in)
- No kayaks (available for hire at THB200 per hour nearby, less than a minute walk away)
- Not for people who struggle with stairs (although there are a couple of villas on the beach without the use of stairs)
We would most certainly stay here again!
MM17896****Pros: This is my second time staying here. I switched to a room with a bathtub this time. I mainly chose it for the modern decor, good service, and the fact that you can kayak and snorkel every day on Sunrise Beach. The noodles and pancakes for breakfast are also delicious.
Cons: The room had a lingering renovation smell, and the tap water wasn't clean; the shower filter turned black after just one use. The whole room felt quite new, but the showerhead was old-fashioned.
GGuest UserPure paradise!! We initially planned for a 2-day stay but ended up extending to 8 days because we loved it so much. The bungalows are incredibly charming, and the location is perfect – right on the beach and just a 2-minute walk from the town center. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the staff are wonderfully kind, friendly, and attentive to your every need. Plus, the restaurant food is excellent! The only minor drawback was some construction noise quite early in the morning. Thank you for everything! 🙏🏼
TTotsy.daisyWe absolutely loved our stay at Serendipity! Our room, located right at the very top, came with a private pool and offered ultimate privacy — truly a peaceful escape. The beach is tucked away at the far end of Sunrise Beach, making it wonderfully secluded from the crowds and the long-tail boats.
The food was amazing — everything we tried was delicious! We especially loved that breakfast could either be enjoyed at the restaurant or served right to our room for a more relaxing morning.
The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Plus, the resort provides free snorkel gear and kayaks for guests who want to explore the beautiful waters nearby.
All in all, it was a superb stay — excellent service, top-notch views, and pure serenity. We loved it to bits and would come back in a heartbeat! 🌴✨
11500100****The hotel's view is truly stunning. Adding an extra bed for 700 baht was more cost-effective than booking a room for four people. We were given a pool-view room on the second floor of the first building, which offered a breathtaking direct sea view. The hotel has staff waiting at the pier to transport guests to the hotel, and luggage is also delivered to the room. The only downside to the room was that ants were common, so it's best to put food scraps or trash in the outdoor bins and keep them away from the room door. Breakfast was plentiful, and the view from the restaurant was incredibly beautiful. Getting to the beach wasn't particularly far. You can also arrange with tour operators to be picked up and dropped off at the beach below the hotel for excursions. The pool and restaurant close at 5 PM daily. Although it's a bit far from the shopping street, there's a free shuttle service that runs continuously, so you don't have to wait too long. The day before check-out, you can coordinate with the front desk about what time you'll need to go to the pier the next day, and they'll help you with your luggage. Overall, I was quite satisfied with this hotel and would choose it again for my next visit. This trip to Thailand was quite long, and I compared several apps for booking hotels and flights. While Trip.com was a bit more expensive than other platforms, I felt their overall service was much better. You could reach a human agent even at night, and they made a great effort to communicate with the hotel and respond promptly. Koh Lipe is a beautiful island, definitely worth a relaxing stay.
AAnonymous UserStaying at Ananya Lipe Resort was honestly a high-ROI decision for my entire vacation strategy. From the moment we checked in, the service team executed with flawless operational excellence — warm, efficient, and genuinely thoughtful.
The room design was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious, with direct access to the pool that immediately boosted the whole “vacation productivity” index. Housekeeping was consistently on point, keeping everything spotless without disrupting our workflow — love that.
Location-wise, the resort sits in a prime spot: close enough to walking street for convenience, but far enough to maintain quiet, island-retreat vibes. The beachfront area is gorgeous, making sunrise coffee sessions feel like a full luxury deliverable.
Overall, Ananya Lipe Resort delivered a premium guest experience across all touchpoints. Highly recommended for anyone who wants comfort, style, and smooth vacation operations in Koh Lipe.
MM318804****The hotel I stayed at on my second day on the island didn't offer any shuttle service. When I changed hotels the next day, I had to call the next hotel to arrange for a pick-up. They offered massages, but I was already sunburned that day, so I didn't try them. I had already taken a picture of the iconic heart-shaped chairs on the beach the day before. It's closer to Irene and the sandbar area, and the beach in front of the hotel is much larger.
AAgatha BelegoSunrise in this resort is one of the best! Great location great staffs and accessible to everything that you neef. Just dont forget to bring mosquito repellent cuz it will be a whole bunch of chaos with a whole bunch of mosquitos night and day
GGuest UserThis is a wonderful place to stay if you don't want seafront. It's only a 3 minute walk to the beach if you want to watch the sunrise and five minutes away from Walking Street. The rooms are a generous size and cleaned every day. The place is clean and tidy and staff are always on hand to help with your every need. The pool is cleaned every morning and no restrictions on when you can use it is a plus for me, as I'm up at 6.00 a.m. and can swim for an hour before breakfast. The breakfast itself is simple but adequate - we went at low season so this maybe different at other times. To finish on a positive note there is a pick-up and drop-off service to from and to the ferry terminal - we called it our own Executive Transfer. Those who have experienced this will know what I mean!
Thank you San Pita for a wonderful experience.
GGuest UserBe careful of the budget fan rooms...unfortunately my bed was full of bed bugs and I had over 100 bites on my feet and legs alone which had an impact on my stay because I had to cover my legs up for the rest of my holiday...NOT IDEAL IN SOUTH ASIA ☹️☹️🤬
The reception staff did change my room to another fan room which was fair but an upgrade would have been better considering I had to pay out of my own pocket for anti-histamine tablets and creams and painkillers 👎👎👎
Hotel was in an amazing location...right on the beach and next to walking street
The complex was nice and the pool really good
Breakfast nothing to shout out about 4/10
Would i stay here again.....NO
