Koh Lipe Hotels with Bars

I was really impressed with The October Villa. We stayed in Villa 2, which had a large pool and unobstructed sea views. The bed was incredibly comfortable! You can watch the sunset and go kayaking at the hotel. Even though it's on Sunset Beach, you can walk to Sunrise Beach during low tide, which is super convenient! Every day from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, the hotel offers a complimentary ride to the commercial street for dinner. The hotel breakfast was excellent, and it's à la carte, so you can order whatever you like. The staff were truly wonderful and so enthusiastic. It happened to be my birthday when we arrived, and my friend mentioned it to the hotel, who then surprised me with a small cake!

Bulow Casa was an absolute gem and one of the best stays we have ever had. The beach was stunning — pristine, peaceful, and just steps away. It’s the kind of beach you never want to leave. The atmosphere of the hotel itself was wonderful. The surroundings are beautifully maintained and create a truly relaxing environment that makes you feel completely at ease from the moment you arrive. The food at the hotel was delicious and well-prepared, with a great variety that satisfied every craving. Dining here was genuinely a pleasure. The staff deserve a special mention — they were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always went out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Their warmth made a real difference to our experience. One standout feature that truly impressed us was the complimentary shuttle service around Koh Lipe. Being able to explore the island freely without any extra cost was a fantastic touch that showed how much the hotel cares about its guests’ experience. We would recommend Bulow Casa to anyone visiting Koh Lipe without hesitation. We will absolutely be back.

We had a very lovely time at Casa de Lipe. We even got engaged here so we will certainly be coming back. Among the rainforest and with the sound of the sea rocking you to sleep Epic sunsets Great breakfasts Cons (being really picky): The air con unit in our room was a bit loud The pool in our room (honeymoon villa) was a little bit smaller than I expected The decor could be updated We’ll be coming back here time and time again for sure. I stayed at this hotel for two nights. Everything was good, the grounds were pleasant, everything was clean, and the rooms were clean and all wood-paneled. You really feel that authentic Thai island vibe. The only thing missing in the room was a bathrobe and a dental kit. It's a long walk to 7-Eleven; I could have called a motorcycle taxi, of course, but it would be better if these kits were provided in the rooms. Luckily, I happened to have dental kits from previous hotels in my suitcase. The hotel has its own beach. One beach has a sandy entry, no rocks, but for some reason, the water there was always a bit murky. The second has rocks, but you can walk through them a little and then swim and snorkel comfortably. There are sun loungers right there, and a hotel cafe too. They have happy hour from 4 PM to 6 PM, which I took advantage of. My biggest disappointment was breakfast. There was a selection of pancakes and toast, which I rarely eat, as well as three Thai dishes, and you couldn't order from the menu in the morning. Basically, I stayed hungry 😬. Breakfast is important to me; it's about strength and energy, especially when you have an active vacation with swimming all day. However, the view from the room was simply beautiful. If you want peace and quiet, get one of the bungalows higher up. Otherwise, it's quiet everywhere unless your neighbors start getting rowdy on their balconies 😄. I forgot to add that the sunrise was something else; I could see it from my room too, but on the second day, I went down to the beach to watch it.

The location is great in the middle of sunrise beach and easy to walk to walking street and main pier. The concept and vibes of resort are great love it. The service is quite not good compared to another small local resort in island. A lot of staffs in resort just sitting no service of picking up at pier, staff quite not have a good service mind, staffs language proficiency of Thai and English. They don’t understand what I try to order in Thai and English.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this resort! We stayed in the Tree Pool Villa, and it was absolutely perfect for our child. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and surrounded by lush tropical greenery, which made the whole experience feel peaceful and relaxing. We loved all the amenities the resort has to offer. The complimentary tuk-tuk shuttle service to the walking street was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the area. We also treated ourselves to the spa, and it was one of the highlights of our stay—very relaxing and definitely worth it. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, with a great variety of delicious options to choose from. Our favorite was definitely the noodle station! The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. One thing that really impressed us was the bathroom—it was almost as large as the bedroom and felt luxurious. The resort’s beachfront location was another major highlight. Our child had so much fun kayaking and snorkeling in the clear water. If you’re staying here, I also highly recommend renting a boat to visit and hike the island directly opposite the resort. The scenery is breathtaking, and it’s an experience you shouldn’t miss. Overall, we had an amazing family vacation and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing tropical getaway!

Absolutely loved our stay at Mali Resort Sunrise Beach! 🌴✨ The location is perfect, right by the beautiful Sunrise Beach, with stunning views and an amazing island atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, while the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The resort is also conveniently located near restaurants, shops, and walking street, making it easy to explore Koh Lipe. Waking up to the beautiful beach and enjoying the peaceful surroundings was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. 🌊☀️ Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Koh Lipe. Pros: 1. **Location:** It's not right by the bustling pedestrian street, so it's relatively quiet, yet only a 5-10 minute walk away. 2. It's a detached, single-story villa with a private terrace. 3. The room has a minimalist design, and there's plenty of hot water for showers. 4. The beach is just a few steps from the room. 5. There are exclusive beach chairs available on the beach. 6. The breakfast is substantial, mainly Western-style. 7. They offer shuttle services. Cons: 1. The room is a bit run-down; many facilities are old or loose. 2. The island in general is a bit noisy and too crowded. 3. At over 1000 RMB per night during peak season, it's not great value for money. 4. The immigration and departure points on the island for boarding/disembarking boats are quite chaotic. You have to pay the island fee upfront. Be aware that the ATM next to immigration charges half the withdrawal amount in fees – a definite rip-off. 5. The staff on the Thai transfer boat were rude and crammed everyone onto one vessel.

It has been out favorite hotel on the island. It is still very good. Great location (quiet), sea line with very beautiful area, some shade during the sunny day. Very good breakfast and ability to put additionally beds in the room. However, when we were there 5 years ago last time, the service was better. Just an example: there are pits with water next to each villa to clean the feet from the send. If you are a customer you get used to that pretty quickly because it is great that you don't bring the sand to your room and bed, then you actually need it. 5 years ago every time we woke up the pot already was full with water. This time it could stay out of water for the whole day and the half of the next day. Some people were pouring in drinking water there to make it possible cleaning the sand off. There are few other small things that degraded sadly. However, it is till one of the best on the island.

The hotel was chosen based on its relatively low price and location. The hotel has seen a lot in its time: a padlock on the front door, cracks in the floor, sockets that are extremely loose, unobtrusive service. However, enough of the negative. Quite good breakfasts, proximity to the sea, good attitude of the staff level out the negative. Try it!
