"Scandic Torget in Bergen has its pros and cons. The staff were friendly and the location is great right by the fish market and close to attractions. The view is nice too.
Breakfast was busy and the food was just okay with limited options. The door lock was frustrating because it didnât always lock right away. One of the elevators felt a bit unsafe and almost got stuck. Overall, itâs a decent hotel but needs some improvements."

LLalithLovely hotel at the heart of the city. Just beside most tourist spots! Though the place is going through a renovation, itâs still maintained well and doesnât give any trouble to the guests! Breakfast spread is good too
Now, personally they kept some dinner aside for us as we were arriving late - Special thanks to that
We were checking out early - they packed breakfast for us which was nice of them. Those fresh croissants and lemon muffins were too good
They have an in house sauna which is a great place to relax after a tiring day.
Special mention to âMiaâ at the front desk for taking good care of us and making the stay from pleasant to overwhelming

AAToiI recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Hotel No.13 in Bergen. While my room lacked windows, it was comfortable and cleaned daily, making it a pleasant place to return to after a day of travel. The absence of a window didn't bother me much, as I spent most of my time exploring the city. The check-in and check-out staff were notably friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The daily breakfast included in my rate was basic.
What truly stands out is the hotel's convenient location which is near Byparken Station and walkable distance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. It is a historic wharf with colorful wooden houses dating back to the 14th century.

GGuest UserHad a fantastic stay in Bergen at the Bergen Bors Hotel! Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff at reception, breakfast and in the Fresco Hallen restaurant - excellent food. Great room; clean, with super facilities and cleaning services. Room was quiet, with great mattresses, duvets and pillows. Location of hotel is amazing, and could easily explore great sights in Bergen on foot. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and definitely planning return visit - thank you!!

LLivoryComfortable, spacious, with dishwasher and kitchenware, fridge etc. location is amazing and service was minimalistic (since operating more like aparthotel that full hotel). Staff at lobby was helpful when we needed thejr help. Housekeeping upon request but we did not need it over the 3d. Laundry room in hotel. Perfect for our family of 3!

Wwillie253The hotel boasts a fantastic location, right next to a Nio car dealership and just outside the fish market. Bryggen is only a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly convenient. We even had a direct view of the landmark Bryggen from our room window. Parking is available in a large lot just a couple of blocks away, offering plenty of spaces, including many for electric vehicle charging. I'd recommend using the EasyPark app, which allows you to set and adjust your parking duration conveniently from anywhere. Our room size was decent, though the amenities were quite basic. I also noticed a higher proportion of female staff. On our check-in day, a weekend, we found the sliding window in our room wouldn't close. The lovely lady at the front desk explained that maintenance staff were off on weekends but kindly offered to try and fix it. She couldn't, but fortunately, I managed to tinker with it and get it working myself. Breakfast was relatively generous. They were quite punctual about clearing everything away at closing time â perhaps a bit eager to finish their shift. We had booked for two nights. However, on our first night, we were on a road trip and unfortunately missed the last ferry due to misjudging our time. The hotel refused to refund the cost of the first night, so we ended up checking in only on the second morning. Shower gel and shampoo are provided in the room, but remember to bring your own slippers and toothpaste. The shower enclosure is quite simple, so be mindful when showering (as water might splash out).

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good. It takes about 2 minutes to walk to the Bryggen area and about 5 minutes to the cable car. However, the location of the hotel is not like the houses in Bryggen. It is in the first row of the river bank. Most of the reservations should not be visible. For river views, our room is on the fifth floor and we can see the interior of the house opposite, as well as a little bit of mountain view. Because the hotel is in the second row, it is a bit uphill, and the surrounding is also a stone road. If you have to drag luggage, it will be a bit hard, and it is even more difficult to drag in the snow. It is better if the luggage is not too big and heavyďżźđ¤Ł( Especially the luggage loss rate at Bergen Airport in winter...it can happen to anyone...) However, there is an elevator inside the hotel.
The breakfast in the hotel is very rich! When traveling, there are many different types of bread with jam, cheese, etc., as well as salmon, elk meat and other choices. There are also many coffee and tea bags, highly recommended! In addition, there is a free rest area in the hotel that provides unlimited coffee, hot tea, etc. for internal use and takeaway, which is very good!
We booked the most basic standard double bed room, and the room was very spacious! The room size and price are pretty good for a room like this in Norway. There is also a sauna and a small gym in the hotel, and the service staff are very kind.
You can take the light rail No. 1 from the airport to the hotel, but be aware that the light rail seems to disappear after one o'clock in the morning. Although the airport board still continuously displays tram schedule information, because we and many people waited from one o'clock in the morning to 1:30 the day before yesterday... Finally I had to spend about 700 kroner to take a taxi to the hotel. Then when I wanted to leave the hotel and go to the airport, I walked for 10 minutes to the light rail station. There was a notice saying that it was not open. I had to walk for more than 1 minute to the bus stop next to it. There is an alternative tram. The bus arrives at the airport (there is no such information on Google Maps). You can also take the FB 50 bus to the airport near the hotel, but the bus is not as frequent as the light rail, so you still need to pay attention to the time.

RryetravelsComfort hotel is easy to locate. Itâs in the city centre. Walking distance from the port, old town, malls, pubs, restaurants and many more. The staff were helpful and always in smile and help to meet the needs of the clients. Plus, the breakfast was delicious, rich and fresh. I have no complaints in overall. My room was clean, in a quiet area and far from the lift. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely comeback here when in visit again Bergen!

AAnonymous UserBooked for four people, but the front desk said they didn't have any rooms left, so they upgraded us to a two-person room â and yes, the price was upgraded too. Linens cost extra, and you have to put them on and take them off yourself. Remember to bring your own toiletries. The room was clean and the surroundings were beautiful. It just gets dark quite late, so I recommend bringing an eye mask! There was a wide variety of breakfast options, and it was delicious đ. You can even enjoy sea and mountain views while you eat. For transportation, the #12 bus is available, just make sure to check the route beforehand.

KKit manFor a tourist without car, it is in excellent location, 7 minutes to railway station to/from airport on foot with luggage n railway ticket just cost nok44 , walking distance to cable station to Floyen mount or Bergenhus or Ferry pier and shops. I reserved a small room but got a room of good size with windows and sofa. There are supporting staff in reception always and they can help me for my enquiries. They can provide electrical kettle at request. Coffee is free in lobby. Breakfast is also good , simple with good choices. I will reserve it if I will visit Bergen again.

GGuest UserItâs just okay and nothing special. It wonât win awards for the aesthetics and the room is so small I donât know how Iâd manage if there were two of us, itâs a tight squeeze. Staff are hit and miss some are friendly and helpful and others seemed to have an attitude. Location is great and itâs close enough to everything youâll need in Bergen. You can hear a lot of noise from the room, chairs scraping on floors and chat from other rooms so bring white noise! View from room of harbour great if you get a top floor.
