LLalithLovely hotel at the heart of the city. Just beside most tourist spots! Though the place is going through a renovation, it’s still maintained well and doesn’t give any trouble to the guests! Breakfast spread is good too
Now, personally they kept some dinner aside for us as we were arriving late - Special thanks to that
We were checking out early - they packed breakfast for us which was nice of them. Those fresh croissants and lemon muffins were too good
They have an in house sauna which is a great place to relax after a tiring day.
Special mention to ‘Mia’ at the front desk for taking good care of us and making the stay from pleasant to overwhelming

AAToiI recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Hotel No.13 in Bergen. While my room lacked windows, it was comfortable and cleaned daily, making it a pleasant place to return to after a day of travel. The absence of a window didn't bother me much, as I spent most of my time exploring the city. The check-in and check-out staff were notably friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The daily breakfast included in my rate was basic.
What truly stands out is the hotel's convenient location which is near Byparken Station and walkable distance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. It is a historic wharf with colorful wooden houses dating back to the 14th century.

AAnonymous UserSound proofing of the rooms are real bad. If you are to leave the windows open for ventilation as there is no air condition unit, you will not be able to have a restful night as those rooms facing the street can hear the noise of the people talking and laughing, vehicles noise, garbage truck till very late into the night and early in the morning. Even if you are to close the windows and bear with the poor ventilated room, you can still hear the noises from the street.
Otherwise a decent hotel in a good location. Service is lukewarm and just average.

JJuDithhhScandic Torget in Bergen has its pros and cons. The staff were friendly and the location is great right by the fish market and close to attractions. The view is nice too.
Breakfast was busy and the food was just okay with limited options. The door lock was frustrating because it didn’t always lock right away. One of the elevators felt a bit unsafe and almost got stuck. Overall, it’s a decent hotel but needs some improvements.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good. It takes about 2 minutes to walk to the Bryggen area and about 5 minutes to the cable car. However, the location of the hotel is not like the houses in Bryggen. It is in the first row of the river bank. Most of the reservations should not be visible. For river views, our room is on the fifth floor and we can see the interior of the house opposite, as well as a little bit of mountain view. Because the hotel is in the second row, it is a bit uphill, and the surrounding is also a stone road. If you have to drag luggage, it will be a bit hard, and it is even more difficult to drag in the snow. It is better if the luggage is not too big and heavy🤣( Especially the luggage loss rate at Bergen Airport in winter...it can happen to anyone...) However, there is an elevator inside the hotel.
The breakfast in the hotel is very rich! When traveling, there are many different types of bread with jam, cheese, etc., as well as salmon, elk meat and other choices. There are also many coffee and tea bags, highly recommended! In addition, there is a free rest area in the hotel that provides unlimited coffee, hot tea, etc. for internal use and takeaway, which is very good!
We booked the most basic standard double bed room, and the room was very spacious! The room size and price are pretty good for a room like this in Norway. There is also a sauna and a small gym in the hotel, and the service staff are very kind.
You can take the light rail No. 1 from the airport to the hotel, but be aware that the light rail seems to disappear after one o'clock in the morning. Although the airport board still continuously displays tram schedule information, because we and many people waited from one o'clock in the morning to 1:30 the day before yesterday... Finally I had to spend about 700 kroner to take a taxi to the hotel. Then when I wanted to leave the hotel and go to the airport, I walked for 10 minutes to the light rail station. There was a notice saying that it was not open. I had to walk for more than 1 minute to the bus stop next to it. There is an alternative tram. The bus arrives at the airport (there is no such information on Google Maps). You can also take the FB 50 bus to the airport near the hotel, but the bus is not as frequent as the light rail, so you still need to pay attention to the time.

RryetravelsComfort hotel is easy to locate. It’s in the city centre. Walking distance from the port, old town, malls, pubs, restaurants and many more. The staff were helpful and always in smile and help to meet the needs of the clients. Plus, the breakfast was delicious, rich and fresh. I have no complaints in overall. My room was clean, in a quiet area and far from the lift. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely comeback here when in visit again Bergen!

AAnonymous UserBooked for four people, but the front desk said they didn't have any rooms left, so they upgraded us to a two-person room – and yes, the price was upgraded too. Linens cost extra, and you have to put them on and take them off yourself. Remember to bring your own toiletries. The room was clean and the surroundings were beautiful. It just gets dark quite late, so I recommend bringing an eye mask! There was a wide variety of breakfast options, and it was delicious 😋. You can even enjoy sea and mountain views while you eat. For transportation, the #12 bus is available, just make sure to check the route beforehand.

KKit manFor a tourist without car, it is in excellent location, 7 minutes to railway station to/from airport on foot with luggage n railway ticket just cost nok44 , walking distance to cable station to Floyen mount or Bergenhus or Ferry pier and shops. I reserved a small room but got a room of good size with windows and sofa. There are supporting staff in reception always and they can help me for my enquiries. They can provide electrical kettle at request. Coffee is free in lobby. Breakfast is also good , simple with good choices. I will reserve it if I will visit Bergen again.

GGuest UserMy 2nd stays when visit Bergen on October 2022 and April 2023 both visit are for 3 nights each stays. I love Thon hotel because the breakfast was amazing, so many varieties of food and delicious. The room is very nice and clean and comfortable beds. Shower room is nice and the adjustment of the water is perfect. I love the chocolate they serve in ours first check in. Delicious. Parking is not free but easy access. The hotel is located in the heart of Bergen old Town, only walk about 2 minutes from the lobby, beautiful Maria Church also 2 minutes from the lobby, definitely will come back...strongly recommend 😍 you can watch my channel about all hotels I recommend on WTLJ YouTube, thanks 😊

JJijituOn the other side of the old city, you can walk over, it takes about 20 minutes, you can also take the bus. We arranged the room on the second floor for us. The result was that we had to go down the stairs on the third floor. It was too inconvenient for us to carry the big box. Although the breakfast is not many varieties, the quality is very good.
