What an excellent and surprising services of the hotel staff since the front office who are really nice and helpfull and including the room boy who are really understand their job description to give the guest of hotel a premium services and lovely hospitality. Great and keep it as its and make it better Always.

Excellent location. It’s just 30 mins away from airport which is very reasonable, and it’s just next to a mall, where you can spend tour time, eat, or shop for anything you need

While our overall stay at Oakwood Jakarta was enjoyable, the lack of a warm welcome was disappointing. The receptionist working between 8-9 PM on October 17th, 2024, wasn’t friendly or smiling, which left us with a poor first impression. She also didn’t provide any information about the hotel’s facilities – we weren’t told how to access the pool, the restaurants, or any other amenities. It felt like we were left to figure things out on our own. This was especially surprising after spending 10 days in Bali, where everyone went out of their way to smile, offer help with our bags, and make sure we were comfortable. At Oakwood, no one even asked if we needed assistance with our luggage. Despite the disappointing service, the hotel itself was great. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location is also a huge plus – just a 10-minute walk to PIK Avenue and around 23 minutes from the airport, making it super convenient. If the service at the front desk were improved, this hotel could easily be a top-tier choice. For now, I’d still recommend it for its comfort, location, and overall facilities – just be prepared for a less-than-warm welcome.

Hotel building and lobby looked nice enough. Checking in was a breeze. Room hallway looks old and gloomy, reminded me of my dormitory days but with better colours. Bedroom didn't have much space, but was still tolerable. The wallpapers had yellowing/dried leak marks. Washroom was tiny and all the drains (sink & shower) are very slow at draining. And no lock for the washroom. The worst was the lighting, i turned off the lights while sleeping, woken up to a room fully lit with tv on maybe a couple hours later. I thought i might have accidentally pressed a button while sleeping. Turned everything off and went to sleep again, then same thing happened again. In total this happened 3 or 4 times, too tired and sleepy to care. I didn't bother complaining because it happened between the middle of the night to dawn. Even if I did complain the possible solutions would be to send a technician or switch me to a better room, and neither is desirable. I was on a one night business trip with full schedule both days. Breakfast was nice, plenty of options, but the service wasn't so good. When i was showed to my table, the host asked if i wanted coffee or tea, I picked coffee. Went around to take my breakfast, came back to table and coffee wasn't there. Then not long after i started eating, a waiter came by and asked if i wanted coffee or tea, said coffee. 5 minutes later another waiter came by if I wanted coffee or tea..again. Finally got my coffee a good 15mins later, I should've just gotten a cup myself. Asked for sunny side ups, eggs came after i finished my plate, about the same waiting time with coffee and the egg station was empty when I ordered. I'm sorry but I don't think this was a 5-star hotel, and the price wasn't worth it. I believe the problem with light was caused by the room card slot right to turn on the power. Must've gone wrong and failed to detect a card in the slot and shut everything off, then suddenly detected the card again, hence all power and light kept turning back on. Won't be staying there again Hallway picture doesn't look that bad in picture, because my phone decided to make it look nicer by auto-adjusting the light level, much darker in reality

Good location as it is connected to the mall. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly.

Marvellous place to stay Convenient location to reach other places! Connected to the nearby mall with easy access to the supermarket and other requirements. Breakfast buffet - tasty too Excellent service

- Amazing service - check in/out and cleaning. - Spacious and clean rooms....until I saw mini cockroaches 🫠 - Central location for access to popular areas - pancoran, glodok, mangga besar - and all amenities.

The room exceeded my expectations — great value, beautiful decor & interior, cosy furniture and overall safe and lovely stay. Some caveats for this stay was the location — realised that it was not a very prime location and can be a little inaccessible. Vehicle recommended to get to the lobby, and even through ride-sharing / booking apps such as Grab, three to four drivers have cancelled on me due to the difficulty in accessing location. Near several landmarks & malls on the map but the winding road / highway (it is an elevated spot) may make a five minute walk into a 15-minute journey. Great place for those with access to transport or for those who plan to relax in the room all day.

2 times at here, and there is always great, the hotel was really good. the hotel clean, fast check in and the room was comfortable, and breakfast have many variety in wetern, indonesian and chinese (the dimsum is very delicious) friendly and honest staff, central located, minor things are the bulding is old. Anyway its nice experience in the hotel, good job Mercure Kota !

Travelling from overseas is exhausted, sleepy, tired n everything. First of all, big thanks to Mrs Nadya at the reception, she is greetings me with a smile from the moment I'm arrived until the day I am check out, it was top service. I did not mention about want a high level, she knows it already. Coz, normally when I am booked a hotel, definitely I will request the highest floor. I'm booked here at last minute, turn out it was a great experiences. All the staff here is friendly and easy going, food for breakfast also good. Only one thing, ”seated for breakfast”. When I had breakfast, while I am going to take another food, other guest seat there. So I need to move to another table. My phone and room access card still on the breakfast table, how is another guest not seeing it!!? Or they just do not have human sense!? Hello!!!!I am still not finish eat my food! My suggestions, maybe hotel management can provide a small things at the every each table at the Cafe Sirih, which state that ”Occupied/Unoccupied”. So that kind of things will never happened to another hotel guests. Overall, it was a great experiences being here. Definitely will repeat again.
