PPeterKThe location is extremely convenient directly across the street from the Hauptbahnhof and with a subway station entrance and bus stop right outside. I felt very safe walking around even at night and the few homeless or other kinds of people hanging around were not that many and were not bothering others. There are many shops and restaurants and a supermarket at the train station but also right around the corner from the hotel is a busy street so easily walking distance to almost anything you need and a fifteen minute bus ride to the city center or the port and Reeperbahn area. It was extremely hot during my stay so no air conditioning was tough but most of the more normal weather times it would be fine. There is some city noise but it did not bother me even at night for sleeping with the windows open. A light sleeper might need earplugs though. There is only one small elevator for two people available for the hotel - the second one is still broken as other reviews mentioned so I wouldn’t expect it to be fixed. Taking the stairs down from the fifth floor was fine but not with heavy bags or going up maybe. Most of the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was standard for Germany but not a lot of extras or variety. It was good but not exciting. The best feature of the hotel was the spacious room and comfortable beds. I think it’s a good value for the space and location and would stay again.

IItdoesntmatterwhofirst of all, the man at the reception did not check that we had already paid for the room. He presented a bill that needs to be paid now. I said several times that we have already paid for the number and showed a copy of the bill. He denied it, but he did a better search and found that we are already paid. He just said it was the software's fault, not his. I have been flying to Hamburg for almost 3 years and staying for a few days and booking a hotel. I have never had such a misunderstanding in other districts of Hamburg. Upon entering the room, everything was clean, but the bedding had an unpleasant smell..

MMooniBaI did not know, it will be Pride saturday (weekend) that day.. It was busy and loud area. The price was higher then usually because of that reason. I did not really checked the reviews, coz that was my emergency stay (i could not get on my flight). Anyway, everything was more expensive than in normal days.
I did not expect any warm greeting, so as I know in germany is not really about prioritizing the guests instead of chatting with mates..
The dorms are ok, nothing special, you have in every dorm toilette and bathroom, they are small but well maintained.
The beds are comfy and clean, if somebody is sleeping on the top of bed and moving, you will notice it.
I missed the curtain to have some privacy and dark to close my bed part. Not everyone is respecting that the people try to sleep or they dont feel good.
Road - street under the hostel is not really safe for single woman traveller, or maybe it was my personal feeling. I would not walk and hang around during dark.
The location is close to train station, for one night it is perfect.

GGuest UserLage für einen Stadion- oder Barclaycardarenabesuch unschlagbar, weil beides unter 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir hatten das Glück den letzten Kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz zu ergattern, sehr erfreulich ;-) Am besten also nicht zu spät anreisen! Online-CheckIn gewöhnungsbedürftig aber machbar. Das Zweibettzimmer im Industriebetonstyle ausreichend groß, ohne Schränke, ohne Coffee Making Facility, ohne Kühlschrank/Minibar und kleinem/halben Kopfkissen! Ein merkwürdiger Geruch durchströmte das Zimmer, erinnerte ein wenig an Baustelle. Das Fenster zu öffnen schien die Lösung, es konnte aber nicht durchgängig offen bleiben, weil Zimmer 201 zur Straße ging und diese sehr lange und sehr früh stark befahren war. Zudem machte sich duch Gäste die Nachts vor dem Hoteleingang sehr lange laut waren weiterer Lärm unangenehm breit. Die Internetnutzung wurde erst durch umfassende lästige umständliche Anmeldung zum Reward/Hotelprogramm möglich. Warum...? Das Bad ist modern, neu, die Dusche gut. Wünschenswert wäre ein Stromanschluß und Zahnputzbecher, der nicht aus Pappe und damit mehrfach nutzbar wäre sowie Möglichkeiten Handtücher gescheit aufzuhängen. Das Frühstück haben wir im Paket mit der Übernachtung günstiger als für die angezeigten 14 € pro Person erhalten. Dieses war gerade noch ok, die Auswahl nicht besonders groß, an zwei Kaffeeautomaten bildeten sich recht lange Schlangen. Keine wirkliche Empfehlung für 14 €! Der CheckOut war unkompliziert und freundlich.

GGuest UserОтель находится рядом озером. Есть где прогуляться заняться пробежкой. Вечером на озере с отличным видом можно поужинать. Сам отель удивил спокойным чистым но ером в дополнительно зданни с балконом во внутренний двор, но в номере нет ни холодильника ни столовых принадлежностей. Есть халаты и тапочки. В общем можно рекомендовать если район устраивает (15 минут пешком до главного ЖД вокзала).

GGuest UserUnfortunately, my booking was not available when I arrived, even though it had been booked about 4 days before arrival and confirmed by Trip.com.
Nevertheless, the friendly receptionist was able to solve the problem relatively quickly. But unfortunately I didn't get the room and/or upper floor I wanted!
Pretty chandeliers do justice to the hotel name!
The bathroom needs a bit of renovation...
Otherwise, everything was fine!

First of all, it's very cheaper than other accommodations.
I wanted a room which didn't need to be fancy but cheap and not a dormitory room and this hostel had the one.
the hostel is well located too, I could walk to Hamburg harbor.
The room was small and not soundproof but it fulfilled my needs.

YYONGThere is parking lot, service is OK, check out is 11 o'clock. Very unfriendly, not knocking the door without explaining the reason, unable to communicate in English, except the front desk. The facilities are very poor. The room is small and not as good as a small hotel in the country.
