GGuest UserThe Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep. The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal! You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience. The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰 The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth. It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.

Yyihonghu****We arrived at Huangling in the evening. The winding mountain road had no streetlights, and we became increasingly confused as we drove. Luckily, the landlady came out to wait for us at the parking spot, which gave us the courage to continue driving uphill. The landlady's service was excellent; despite her small stature, she was incredibly energetic, picking up our luggage and climbing the stairs – amazing! The hotel is located near the rice terrace cable car, making it very convenient to enter and exit the scenic area. The rooms were spacious, with balconies, and the bathrooms had separate shower and toilet areas with strong water pressure, making showering very comfortable. We also had lunch at the hotel; the portions were generous and the food was delicious. They even gave us mooncakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival – such a thoughtful gesture! They also gave us a bottle of rice wine before we left – so considerate! In conclusion, this hotel offered the best value for money. I would recommend it to my friends.

MM45447****The guesthouse is located near the cable car, just a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The owner is very kind and can even provide pick-up and drop-off services! The guesthouse has its own parking lot, which is also very convenient. The bedding was clean, soft, and smelled of sunshine, making it very comfortable to sleep in. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet area and was completely odor-free; the attention to detail was excellent. The owner was very responsive, providing everything from check-in instructions to recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions. They were incredibly helpful, even bringing us sunflower seeds, oranges, and drinks. The owner's wife was also very hospitable and kind! The picture shows the guesthouse's rooftop, where you can take photos!

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic time and highly recommend this place for tourists (including foreign tourists). Nancy and the staff were so kind, helpful and friendly - they shared recommendations on where to visit. The food was absolutely delicious; we recommend ordering lunch and dinner there too. The room was lovely; the view from the balcony was stunning and very peaceful. We recommend hiring Master Yu as the driver; He drove us around the various villages (Wuyuan is his hometown, so he knows all the good places to visit). He is so thoughtful and took our picture many times! The afternoon tea was also very special. We had a wonderful trip!

GGuest UserI opted for one of their newly opened rooms for this stay. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring I slept soundly right until dawn. What I particularly loved was the Huipai architectural style, with its classic white walls, dark tiled roofs, and charmingly arranged courtyards. The subtle aroma of tea permeated the air, instantly putting me at ease.

MMoyuTraveling with seniors, we booked a hotel within the scenic area for convenience. We registered at the visitor center first to get free admission, then a buggy picked us up and took us to the hotel. We got our room key at the front desk, and a big thank you to the front desk attendant who helped us carry our luggage to the room. Breakfast was served at the Wumeng Restaurant, and the variety was excellent. The hotel's location is superb. Just a short walk leads to the Fish Pattern Square (where the Nuo parade begins). You can follow the parade all the way to Baoyu Pagoda to watch the performance, then stroll around and grab some food before catching the iron flower performance. Afterward, head to Wenmo Square for the fire pot performance, followed by the fish lantern parade starting from the God of Wealth Temple (you can even participate!). Finally, take a boat ride. There are also many smaller shows to enjoy throughout the evening (you can scan a QR code at the front desk for the schedule). It was a perfect night tour. After breakfast on the second day, the 'Empty Mirror' setting was fantastic for taking photos. All in all, highly recommended!

YYuenWe came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages. We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too! Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms. It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained. I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me! The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain. This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.

WWHUThis is our third week travelling through China. Our stay at Wuli Shanshui Wenquan Dujia Jiudian. Mentioning the full name of this hotel pretty much gives you a full description of what you will likely experience. A lot of good value for money! The hotel is situated at the bank of a river and behind the river you will see beautiful forested hills. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon you will hear the birds singing. Your stay in this hotel comes with free entrance tickets to the hotpools, each with its own theme. You have the Danggui, the Red Wine, the Green Oasis, the Milk and Red Vinegar pools. We spent about 10 minutes in each of them. Relax, take time to have the body adjust to the temperature. I sat on the side with only my legs and hands under water. Later I let my body slide into the water fully. That night I slept like a baby and this morning I had a smooth soft skin, like a baby 😁 The rooms are fully equipped with all necessities and the reception was very helpful. We got a fruit basket as a welcoming gift. Unfortunately there was no restaurant service but the reception helped us to order in lunch and dinner from a nearby restaurant. All we had to do was to pick from the menu and send the order to the reception via Wechat. For a modest fee our lunch, dinner and cold beers were delivered to our room 👍 The breakfast buffet offered great variety with fresh Ginseng fruit and mini tomatoes. We liked it here so much that we booked a second night. There is so much to explore in the neighbourhood with the beautiful old villages of Likeng and Wangkou nearby. Thank you! 🙏
