NNH1999STAFF APPRECIATION: A special thanks to Xiao Zhang, who was absolutely lovely, and to Ms. LinLin who took such amazing care of me during my stay. Not only is she professional, but Ms. LinLin is incredibly kind, helpful, and warm. As a woman traveling alone to Bana for the first time for a short weekend trip, I was a bit intimidated. She not only helpfully advised me and offered a plan but gave me the freedom to adjust as needed and add my own favorites. More importantly, traveling with her I felt extremely safe and at ease. If you are ever in the area and are able to request a driver or guide around the city, please request her.
The staff themselves are all so, so kind and accommodating. There were issues with my flight, and my arrival date was pushed back. They did all they could to make this as painless a process for me as possible, making a frustrating situation less so. Thanks to the combined efforts of the hotel and trip.com, I did not suffer any losses on this trip. I am beyond grateful as many of my fellow passengers were not so fortunate. Any questions I had were promptly and patiently answered, which I greatly appreciate as a foreign guest.
HOTEL REVIEW: The hotel itself is well situated, facing both the mountains and the rivers. The room was clean, the amenities left nothing lacking. My favorite part was probably the pool which is open late. It was the perfect way to relax and enjoy the lovely night view of the river and bridge after walking around the nearby Night Market (another must-see place). The water is not deep, less than 2 meters, I think, and is safe for children and non-swimmers. I chose a room with its own pool in which one could relax before bed or early in the morning as the fog rolls in over the mountains. I only ate the breakfast, and the options were generous, a mix of Chinese and Western fare.
TLDR: I highly recommend this hotel for a location, comfort, convenience, and amazing customer service and care. If you have a chance to visit the pool at night, the view is great! It is a great option for solo travelers, couples, and children. If possible, I suggest hiring one of their drivers as a personal driver/guide. Request 淋淋! You won’t regret it. ✨️✨️

Choosing the Adaman Hotel by Mingyoo Li Cheng was absolutely the best decision I made for this Xishuangbanna trip. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the corridors enveloped in tropical greenery, exuding an exotic vibe. Every snapshot I took turned into a stunning, atmospheric photo. The room was spacious and cozy, with smart controls throughout, making everything super convenient. The bedding was incredibly soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a wonderfully restful sleep every night.
The location is also fantastic – close to the airport, which makes getting around a breeze. Whether you want to escape the crowds for some peaceful time or explore Xishuangbanna's beautiful sights, this place is perfectly suited. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Xishuangbanna!

Guest Usersomething happened at this hotel that has never happened to me before. on the first night that i arrived i wanted to set down my luggage, use the bathroom quickly, then check out the surrounding night markets. i need to preface this by saying i’m a very experienced, decade-long bidet user. i book hotels specifically with smart toilets, and i’ve installed several bidets at home myself. let me just say this is the dumbest toilet i’ve ever seen in my life because the moment i stood up it started spraying me in the face. i was disgusted so i quickly moved over to the shower to cleanse myself. i figured maybe it’s a one off, and that i shouldn’t have to be afraid of a toilet. but the next time i tried to use it again, the moment i turned the bidet on it started spraying outside of the toilet bowl…all over the bathroom wall. i was once again disgusted so i cleaned the bathroom and showered twice on the night i arrived, and also did a load of laundry. i think whoever used the room before me set the bidet nozzle position so that it would spray outside of the bowl. my question is: 1) why would you do that? 2) to whoever designed this bidet/toilet, why would you allow someone to do that? i thought about moving hotels but i eventually got too lazy, plus the benefit of this hotel is that the location is fantastic. some of the most popular restaurants and cafes in the area are within a quick 5-10 minute walk. it’s such a lively neighborhood with everything you need at your fingertips. be mindful that cars cannot enter this area, as it’s all pedestrian streets. but there is a larger road maybe 2 minute walk away where it’s easy to call a car. the staff is always very helpful. for example on the night that i had to do laundry because of the crazy toilet, they helped me monitor the wash/dry cycle and all i had to do was pick up the clothes when they were done. aside from the poorly designed bathroom (aggressive toilet and sink faucet that sprays everywhere), the room is very clean, modern, and spacious. the breakfast is just okay, very simple and minimal options. at the moment there’s a lot of construction going on as well within the hotel, so on several mornings i was woken up by drilling at 9am. i think it’s overall a good value for your money, as the nightly rate is inexpensive. but be careful of their bathrooms.

I'm a light sleeper, have sensitive skin, and suffer from rhinitis, so with all these factors combined, I'm quite picky about hotels. The Sheraton lives up to its old five-star standard; the building has excellent soundproofing, the garden landscaping is beautiful, and the service is great. Given that it's a decade-old hotel, the facilities naturally aren't as new as the latest renovations, but it's still worth the price. The hotel's food is about one-third more expensive than outside, but the portions are also larger, which is acceptable. We did painted fan crafts, released water lanterns, and made pottery, and my child loved it.
The only thing I have to complain about is the carpet. The carpet in the hallway is very old and has a pungent smell; I had to hold my breath every time I walked to the room.
The carpet in the room was better. With the AC on low, I barely smelled anything, but without the AC, there was a faint, lingering musty smell (my rhinitis makes me very sensitive, others might not notice it). I strongly suggest either removing the carpets entirely, replacing them with new ones, or providing air purifiers.

Anonymous UserI recently stayed at this brand-new hotel (opened in 2024), and it was such a nice experience. If you want a place with lots of extras, this is it. They have two pool tables, a small rooftop pool, and two gyms—one for yoga and Pilates with all the equipment, and another with treadmills, bikes, free weights, and even a Smith machine. There’s also a laundry room with washers, which was really handy.
The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, but you’ll want to arrive early to get the best selection. The staff were all very friendly, but Fei Xiu (绯袖) on WeChat was especially helpful—she answered all my questions quickly and made everything easy.
The location isn’t right on the riverbank near the Starlight Market, but it’s not far from tourist spots either. It’s actually in a good spot if you want a quieter stay while still being close enough to everything.
If you’re looking for a modern, well-equipped hotel with great service, I’d definitely recommend this one!

Guest UserAlthough Xi Shuang Ban Na UrCove claims they are a smoke-free hotel, from what I have seen this is not really true. I suggest People who are allergic to cigarette smoke or have health issues related to cigarette smoke definitely go somewhere else. I saw guests as well as hotel employees openly smoking in the front lobby of this hotel. Front desk clerks and supervisor saw this but not only said nothing to the offenders but when I complained about this, the front desk clerk ignored me and glared at me for complaining.
Bedroom: very spacious and clean. beddings and sheets were very clean and comfortable.
Toilet: was a very new style and with a temperature toilet seat
Shower area: It was a disaster. The glass panel dividing the toilet and the shower area was poorly installed, so water from the shower area leaked everywhere. It was quite dangerous because the floor outside the shower was a smooth piece of floor tile. My wife almost slipped and fell down. We immediately told the front desk that night, and all they did was send someone to wipe up the water that's all. There was no follow-up after that.
Breakfast: This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever been to regarding breakfast. The majority of the breakfast items were Chinese food which I have no complaints about, although I do not eat Chinese breakfast. The biggest problem was, when we went for breakfast after 9:15 am there were lots of emptied food containers and plates which was used to hold breakfast food items. Breakfast was supposed to end at 10:00 am. 9:15 am NO croissant, Not even a simple slice of bread which I can make toast with. I also checked the Chinese food items and lots of containers were emptied as well. I then went to ask a staff where I could at least get a piece of bread. Her answer was, there isn't anymore sliced bread and what you see is what you get. There was hardly anything to eat?!?!?! I was furious and I demanded to have a couple of pieces of sliced bread. In the end, kitchen staff Mr. Wang came to my rescue and cooked me and my wife each two fried eggs. On top of it, Mr. Wang went out to get me sliced bread from outside the hotel so that my wife will at least have something to eat for breakfast. On the second day of breakfast, there was no coffee after 9:15 am as the coffee machine went into cleaning mode for at least half an hour. The chief of Chef did end up helping me to get a cup of coffee but from what I can see, this hotel is NOT ready to receive international guests.
Totally disappointed in the Urcove Xi Shuang Ban Na. Totally not the Hyatt standard at all. I really believe Hyatt management in Texas really should not take the risk of damaging their great brand by letting this hotel be branded with Hyatt's Name. The way this Xi Shuang Ban Na Urcove is operating, they are worse than locally managed/owned hotels.

Leona_Lee_2017To ensure my mom had a more comfortable stay, I specifically booked the Pullman for our trip to Xishuangbanna this time. Even before we arrived, our butler Mety contacted me. She helped arrange our airport pickup and asked if we wanted to book the hotel shuttle to the Starlight Night Market for the next day, which was incredibly thoughtful. She even upgraded our room for free!
Throughout our entire trip, Mety was a lifesaver. She anticipated our needs before we even thought of them and helped arrange everything. Thanks to her patient answers to all my questions, we had a very comfortable stay, my mom had a great time, and our itinerary was perfectly paced and relaxed. Also, thanks to Mety, we now know where to find delicious local grilled fish when we come back to Xishuangbanna. Oh, and I missed the 'peacocks getting off work' on the first day, but Mety told me I could see them 'going to work' the next morning, haha! They were super, super cute, and one mischievous little peacock reminded me of my naughty cat at home 🐱.
The room was very clean, and the environment was absolutely beautiful. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. The pool, both indoor and outdoor, was very clean and spacious. I ended up using the outdoor pool; the water temperature was perfect, and the shallowest depth was 1 meter. For someone as terrified of water as I am, you can imagine how happy I was! 🐳
All in all, I highly recommend the Pullman in Xishuangbanna! ✨✨✨

The staff at this hotel were all very helpful and had great service attitudes, which deserves a big thumbs up. However, the facilities were a major drawback. The laundry room seemed to be shared with the adjacent health and wellness guesthouse; it was so messy that I never wanted to do laundry there 😂. The swimming pool was also dirty and not filled with water, which was one of the reasons I booked the hotel. There was also no parking, and the small courtyard was completely filled with cars. Breakfast was very simple, basically just two stir-fried dishes every day, served on the kind of trays used in student cafeterias. The only thing I was willing to eat was the rice noodles. I also got bitten by some kind of insect at the hotel seven or eight times. In short, it's a hotel with very obvious advantages and disadvantages. This is the first time I've written so much, and I hope the hotel can improve and get better.

I was lucky enough to find an available room when I checked in, and the lovely front desk staff upgraded me to a better room. I stayed in the Sunset King Room, which had a huge balcony and was super comfortable. I could see the night view, and in the evening, my boyfriend and I enjoyed some BBQ and drinks on the balcony while taking in the scenery – it was quite relaxing. The pool is very photogenic; it was just too hot in the afternoon, so I'd recommend going in the evening for photos. The cleaning staff were also very thorough and paid attention to details. Overall, it was a great stay, and I'll definitely come back next time. The only downside is that Xishuangbanna is genuinely scorching hot!

Guest UserThis was my first time in Xishuangbanna, and it was a fantastic experience! When I travel, I always prioritize comfort, so after looking at several hotels, I finally settled on this one. The environment is excellent, and it's incredibly clean. The service was top-notch; they even offered complimentary tea tasting. The breakfast was bountiful with a great variety. The hotel facilities are also good, and most importantly, it's conveniently located near all the main attractions. The night market is just a few minutes' walk away, which was super handy. For the price, the service is absolutely worth it and very affordable. Thumbs up!
