Hotels with Breakfast in Geneva

From arriving at the airport for my first trip to Geneva and getting the shuttle bus to the hotel I felt relieved to be greeted by driver of the bus and checked in at the front desk. As a disabled traveller some trips are more difficult than others. I was meeting my teenage granddaughter later that evening and felt confident that I would be able to meet her back at the airport train station without difficulty. The Crowne Plaza was a beautiful hotel, ideally located and the staff were helpful,friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and quiet. The beds were super comfy and the shower was a dream with wonderful smelling products and soft towels to wash away the stress of the days travelling. The breakfast was excellent, everything one plus a teenager could want! Full marks on that. My only complaint would be our dining experience. I booked a table and arrived on time I ordered a Gin & Tonic for myself and Tap water for the table as we were both thirsty. I ended up having to ask 3 times for the water and was eventually given a bottle of still water and being charged for it. The water from the tap in the room is labelled as drinking water, I would therefore expect tap water for the restaurant to be of the same quality. The Gin was billed as a double at CHF22.00 and Tonic billed separately 😳 I didn’t order a double, was not asked and in fact did not want a double! The food was expensive and okay but nothing to get excited about. I would not go to the restaurant again. The service was poor and hard to get someone’s attention ☹️

Excellent location. Walk distance to Central Train Station and stone away from Geneva lake. Very good value for money. The facilities are pretty good. It even has a separate kitchen in the room. Decoration in the hallway are looking good. Loads of restaurants around the hotel. Got the best spaghetti carbonara ever had. Walkable distance to Geneva Cathedral and other interesting places. Close to central bus station as well which has bus connects major cities in Switzerland and some cities in neighbouring countries. The only negative thing is that the bathtub is quite narrow. When you take shower in it, it is hard not to knock on the side glass or to the wall. Other than that, everything else works great! Highly recommended!

First of all, the location is unbeatable. It’s only about a 10-minute walk to the famous waterfalls and the Old Town, which made everything so convenient. We could stroll out in the morning, explore all the beautiful spots, take photos, grab meals, and come back to rest without needing to drive. Being able to park the car and just walk everywhere was such a big plus. Yes, the hotel has a slightly older, classic style — but everything is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. What really surprised me (in the best way!) was that our room came with a kitchenette. I did not expect that at all. Having a small kitchen setup made such a difference — we could prepare simple meals, make coffee, and feel a bit more “at home” instead of just staying in a typical hotel room. There was also a bathtub, which was another pleasant surprise. After a long day of walking around and sightseeing, being able to relax in a hot bath was perfect. Not many budget-friendly hotels provide that! For the price we paid, this is honestly one of the best deals in such a prime location. It’s affordable, practical, and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay — good space, useful amenities, parking convenience, and walking distance to all the attractions. If you are looking for a budget-friendly stay with excellent location and great value for money, this hotel is definitely worth considering. We would absolutely stay here again.

I stayed at Hotel Suisse Geneva during my time in Geneva, and the standout feature of this hotel is its location. It is literally right across the road from the main train station, which makes it incredibly convenient whether you’re arriving by rail, heading to the airport, or planning day trips. Being so close to the station also means excellent public transport connections, but what I found even more useful is that most of Geneva’s main sights are within easy walking distance. You can comfortably reach the lake, the Old Town, shops, and restaurants without needing to rely on transport, which makes exploring the city simple and efficient. The hotel itself is comfortable and practical, with clean rooms and everything you need for a short city stay. It’s not overly luxurious, but it’s well maintained and does the job perfectly if you’re planning to spend most of your time out exploring Geneva. Because of its central location, it’s a great choice for both short stays and stopovers. It also works particularly well if you have an early train or a tight schedule, as you don’t need to factor in extra travel time to get to the station. I would highly recommend Hotel Suisse Geneva for anyone prioritising convenience and location. If you want to be right in the centre of everything with excellent transport links, it’s a very practical and reliable choice.

This hotel, Aparthotel Adagio Genève Mont-Blanc, is about a 10-minute walk from Geneva Central Station and easy to find. It's also just a 10-minute stroll to the lake to see the Jet d'Eau. The Geneva long-distance bus station is right next door, making it super convenient for trips to Chamonix and Annecy. The rooms are quite spacious, featuring a separate kitchen fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, induction hob, and all the pots and pans you need for cooking your own meals. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, they have a DIY fresh orange juice machine, which is a definite plus!

Generally the hotel has good facilities, which are relatively new. Our rooms are family connecting rooms with large space. The rooms are very quiet and we had very good sleep. Location is ok as we need to catch the tram about 10 minutes reaching Geneve Cornavin. Service needs improvement as we notified the reception for room cleaning, but when we came back to room at 3:30pm, the room is still not yet cleaned. We rang the reception twice, the cleaner knocked our door and did cleaning. We are not happy for this. One more, on the check out date, we had breakfast around 7:15am and it looked like the veg and fruit salad was left over from yesterday's breakfast, not fresh. I talked with one of the hotel staff, but he did not say anything and went awsy. We did not eat it and put it aside on the table. The breakfast fee is eur28.00 per person, the hotel should provide fresh food for people who live in this hotel. We are not happy as well for this.

Although the location is very central, the entrance is very unattractive and located inside a sketchy passage. There aren't even clear signs on the street. Unfortunately most of the rooms face a narrow courtyard with with windows on the opposite site, so you have to keep the curtain and window blinds closed all the time or otherwise people will look inside. The interior reminded me of a love hotel with exposed showers and reflective decorations. It didn't feel very cozy. The staff was friendly but not very welcoming. Check-in has to be done yourself and the staff doesn't explain anything on their own volition. For example they didn't even tell me there was free tea and coffee on each floor, nor did they tell me the checkout time.

Not far from the lake promenade and the city center with its railway & bus station, this hostel had great location. Even after having breakfast (which was included in price and really nice) I could go for a quick walk near the lake and enjoy my morning. Room was fine, could use some more place to put my things, otherwise it was okay. No issues with charging ports there, had lots of them near each bed. Lockers just outside the room were very convenient and had a lot of space. Bathrooms were great, loved the benches and everything, toilet doors though could use a bit of repair as it was rather difficult to close them.

The hotel located near United Nations, public transportation is free by traveling in GENEVA, the hotel staff will help to register when you check in. The room was clean, but the furniture was a bit old as expected. The breakfast was offered by semi buffet, a variety of food selections, quality of food was nice.
