The location of this hotel is around 4km, 10mins drive from the main Genting Sky Avenue.
It doesn't have many eateries, so we only go to the Hard Rock Cafe on the 50th floor.
Pros:
All the staffs, including the security guard makes us feel welcomed upon reaching the premises.
Parking is free, just need to validate before going out.
I've requested a high floor room, with a mountain view and a simple deco and all they arranged for me 😉
Cleanliness is superb, no weird smell as other commented

"It was a pleasant stay for families with budget. Kids can enjoy swimming pool and parents can enjoy hot water pool. Breakfast was good even with limited variety. Lunch & dinner need to go to Bentong town as ala carte choice very limited. Staffs very helpful and friendly especially at the kitchen. Lift broken on our second day of stay and we’re at the third floor 😅"

"It’s our 2nd time coming here and the first time with family. The main reason for coming here is for the beautiful scenery, calmness and atmosphere. We booked two rooms and the facilities plus views were amazing. The breakfast was also simple and nice and we also enjoyed the BBQ buffet dinner on Saturday night which was very nice and affordable. Overall a very pleasant experience and we’ll definitely be coming back
Tip: if you like to use the hot water in the shower, ensure to turn on the heater between 60 - 90 minutes before showering. It takes a very long time to heat up"

"The stay was amazing! The personalised service and incredible staff made us feel welcome. The room and view were absolutely stunning—100% amazing. The breakfast was delicious, though at RM100+ per adult, it lacked variety especially for meat options. The meal service however was impeccable. The only minor downside was the security staff at the property entrance who came across quite unwelcoming, contrasting sharply with the otherwise warm hospitality.
We want to thank especially Mark for the amazing hospitality! He was friendly, warm and completed our stay. The Chateau is 100% highly recommended for short stay and we'll be back soon :)"

Upon arrival, I was greeted with warm hospitality and efficient check-in. The lobby itself was stunning — elegant, modern, and inviting. The service throughout my stay was impeccable — the staff were professional, attentive, and always one step ahead of my needs without being intrusive.
My room was spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculately clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens luxurious, and the in-room amenities top-tier — from the high-end toiletries to the smart lighting and entertainment system. I also had a breathtaking view that made every morning and evening extra special.
Resort World Genting- Crockfords speaks of thoughtful planning and genuine care. The round-the-clock service ensured I was comfortable no matter the time of day. It’s a hotel that not only meets expectations but exceeds them — especially when it comes to looking after guests late into the night.
The only slight issue was the car park validation as we were checking out. The mgt took more than 40 minutes to validate the free parking. As we waited, I thought the staff could offer some drinks but they did not. Overall, still a very good experience staying at Crockfords."

2. There is an AC used for heater at nite because too cold at nite.
3. There is a sauna - good one
4. There is a gym w new facilities
5. Parking validation is thru system at reception counter.

Need improvement:
1. Parking lot was a bit confusing. Pls label the pillar for us to snap shot or add qr.
2. The shower water in women changing room was soooo cold. Is water heater having problem? The pool water is warmer (fortunately)."

"A few suggestions for future guests: the bed is surrounded by mirrors, which might feel a bit unsettling at night, so it’s good to be mentally prepared. I’d recommend wearing slippers indoors, as walking barefoot isn’t very comfortable. The dining table had some leftover cleaning residue, so it’s worth wiping down again before use. The toilet could have been cleaned more thoroughly.
Also, while I didn’t use the air conditioner, the room felt a bit stuffy — adding a fan would help improve ventilation.
After all it’s a comfortable and spacious place. With a few minor improvements, it could be an excellent stay."

"Great value for the room rate and facilities provided. There's also sufficient amenities in the room and grounds to explore, walk, enjoy views and rest. Rooms are spacious as they were meant for studio apartment setup. Hotel is shared with homestay and airbnbs. The plus side is you get service and housekeeping. But shared facilities with other non hotel guests.
Tip; ask for mountain view as some rooms face the highway and you can hear the cars and motorbikes racing late night and early morning.
Some downsides that may be improved and important to some guests:
Pillows are very soft but they are generous to provide two per person. Showers are only rain showers with no hose. This is difficult if you have young children.
Breakfast has good variety but quality is so so. Not everything is tasty. Weak coffee and condiments.If you come late, they do not replenish many of the mains. Fair, so be early if you want to enjoy more options."

"Stayed at Genting Awana Resort and really enjoyed the experience. The resort is surrounded by greenery, giving a peaceful retreat away from the busy hilltop crowd. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Facilities like the heated pool and golf course are well maintained, and the shuttle service to SkyAvenue is very convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. A great choice if you prefer a quieter stay while still being close to Genting Highlands attractions."

"We booked Scape Hotel via Trip.com for 2 rooms 2 nights and each room costing Rm130/room/night with no breakfast.
We checked into Room 812 and 814 from 16 to 18 July 2025.
We like both rooms with firm and comfy beds; shower hot water and with strong pump pressure massage massage my neck and back.
On top of that there was one unit of water machine SK magic UV sterilized along 8 floor corridor. So we need not drink bottle water.
A leather chair in our room 814 of which my daughter told me very nice and comfortable to sit on.
Breakfast of Rm38/person inclusive of Asian western and local food. Worth the price."

GGuest UserWe recently stayed at Magtree Genting hotel, in room 2004, tower 4, and had a mixed experience overall. The hotel is generally okay, but there are a few areas that need improvement.
Firstly, the bunk bed in our room seemed to be broken. When our children slept on it, the bed shook quite a bit, which was concerning. This issue needs to be addressed promptly, either by repairing or replacing the bunk bed to ensure the safety and comfort of future guests.
Secondly, the cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired. It was not cleaned thoroughly, and this was quite disappointing. A higher standard of cleanliness is expected, especially in the bathroom area.
As for the breakfast, it was just so-so. The selection was quite limited, with options such as fried noodles, fried rice, Nasi lemak, soup noodles, small sausages, fried eggs, roti canai, curry chicken and bread. However, there was no milk, cereal, or cake for the children. Additionally, we found that the creamer seemed to have been bitten by either a cockroach or a mouse, which was quite unappetizing. We have photos to support this observation.
Overall, while the hotel is generally okay, there are significant areas that need improvement, particularly with the bunk bed, bathroom cleanliness, and breakfast quality. We hope these issues will be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience.

LLyannie ArzajWe arrived earlier at the Resort around 1.30pm and the front office is already aware about us. They asked us to wait until 3pm. We patiently wait at the dining area. Around 3pm, we saw that the Resort’s staff was entertained other client whom came late than us. We are only able to take our key room at 3pm after many times asking for it.
While in the room, the cleanliness was not meet our expectations. The cleaner did not vacuum thus they just mop the floor which had left a smelly odour.
The toilet condition also was not in good condition whereby there were leaking and loose water tap.
The pillow case also had a stain (as per picture).
The cost of using bbq pit also was too expensive, RM100 for build in bbq pit and RM200 for portable bbq pit.
While the pool, quite okay for kids.

YYuan ChongIt has being more than 10years going up. Overall it is within expectation hearing from frequent traveler. Just note to less frequent traveler to this hotel. Bring your own toothbrush, comb and wifi as the room dont have. Only lobby and it i very bad. Mening the room will not fridge. There is hot and cold water at common floor. Location just a walk to alot of facilities for those coming to enjoy the necessary.
